Abstract

The fast fashion industry has grown rapidly by providing trendy and affordable clothing, but it has led to negative environmental impacts, such as increased carbon emissions and textile waste. UNIQLO, as one of the key players in this industry, applies the Net Positive principle to create a positive impact that exceeds its negative effects. By leveraging digital transformation, UNIQLO enhances operational efficiency and transparency in its business. This article discusses UNIQLO's strategy of integrating the Net Positive concept with digital technology. The analysis results show that through supply chain tracking, AI-based inventory management, and consumer education programs, UNIQLO has successfully reduced textile waste, decreased carbon emissions, and increased loyalty among environmentally-conscious consumers. These strategic steps not only help UNIQLO reduce its environmental impact but also strengthen its competitiveness in the global fast fashion market. UNIQLO's approach serves as a real example for other companies in the industry that aim to adopt a sustainable business model, especially in the digital era, which demands innovation and environmental responsibility.

Abstract

Hospitals' and the government's respective responsibilities in the event of a data breach involving patients' electronic health records are the focus of this investigation. Using both statutory and conceptual approaches, the research is normative juridical in nature. The findings indicate that: In the event that a patient's electronic medical record data is leaked, the hospital may face three types of legal responsibility. Firstly, there is civil liability, which allows the patient to sue the hospital for breach of contract or broken promise. Secondly, there is criminal liability, which is based on the principle of error and, if proven guilty, can result in fines and jail time for the hospital administrator. As controllers of patient personal data, hospitals may face administrative consequences such as fines, suspension of operations, termination of access to electronic systems, and/or removal from the PSE list (C. Administrative accountability). There are two aspects to the government's legislative safeguards for hospitals regarding the potential disclosure of patient information in electronic health records: preventative measures and punitive measures. Hospitals are safeguarded by Article 191 of Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health in the preventative protection category, whereas those involved in coercive dispute resolution face fines, sanctions, and jail time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the Qur'an memorization (Tahfidzul Qur'an) learning program at SMP NU Darussalamah Braja Harjosari contributes to the development of students' religious character and discipline. Tahfidzul Qur'an not only focuses on improving memorization but also plays a role in instilling religious values and discipline. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, collecting data through observations, interviews, and documentation involving the school principal, Tahfidz teachers, and students. The Tahfidz learning at this school applies the Wahdah, Sima’i, Jama’, and Muraja’ah methods, which are implemented in a structured daily, weekly, and monthly program. The research findings show that the Tahfidzul Qur'an learning program significantly contributes to shaping students' religious character, which is reflected in their awareness of worship, adherence to religious teachings, and good moral conduct (akhlakul karimah). Furthermore, students' discipline has improved through the memorization routine and adherence to the memorization schedule. However, there are several challenges, such as differences in students' memorization abilities, limited time due to a packed academic schedule, and a lack of support from families in maintaining memorization outside of school.

Abstract

The Water Resources Construction Industry has experienced significant growth in meeting water needs and addressing hydrological hazards. However, this increase has also been accompanied by a rise in workplace accidents. To address this, shifting individual mindsets to a safety paradigm with a focus on safety behavior can enhance the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture at the workplace. This study aims to analyze the impact of safety leadership on safety behavior, specifically in coastal protection projects involving high-risk work such as piling with specialized tools and methods. The study uses a qualitative method with a DO IT approach, collecting data through observations and interviews with project management of NCICD at PT.X. The main informants include the Project Manager, Site Administration Manager, Site Operation Manager, Site Engineering Manager, HSE Inspector, and Field Worker. Several indicators for measuring BBS include top management commitment, OHS regulations and procedures, worker communication, worker competence, and worker involvement. The study results show that the NCICD project has implemented enhanced safety leadership and BBS programs with strong management commitment. However, worker involvement in reviewing procedures and construction safety competence still needs improvement.

Abstract

Bullying committed by children has become a serious concern within the juvenile justice system in Indonesia. Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Justice System (SPPA) regulates legal protection for children in conflict with the law, including children who are perpetrators of bullying. This study aims to analyze the form of legal protection provided to children who commit bullying offenses and the application of diversion as the main effort in resolving juvenile cases outside of the judiciary. The research method used is normative juridical with a legislative approach and case study. The results of the study indicate that the SPPA Law prioritizes the principle of restorative justice, emphasizing guidance and rehabilitation for the child offender over criminal sanctions. Diversion becomes the main step in handling cases of children in conflict with the law, except in certain cases that meet the criteria for judicial processes. Therefore, the implementation of legal protection for children who commit bullying must be carried out optimally, considering the principle of the best interests of the child.
