Abstract

This research aims to determine the possibility of financial statement fraud by using Pentagon fraud analysis. Pentagon fraud is a concept that explains the factors that cause someone to commit fraud, namely pressure, opportunity, rationalization, ability, and management. In this research, stress factors are proxied through the use of financial goals and external stress. Opportunity factors are proxied by utilizing industry characteristics and effective monitoring. The rationalization factor is proxied using Changes in Auditors. The competency factor is represented by changes in management use. Finally, proxy the arrogance factor using the number of frequent Key Management images. This study uses the F-score model to see the possibility of false financial reports. The sample for this research is 30 IDX30 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2024 that meet certain criteria. The analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of this research indicate that the variables financial objectives and management changes are proven to have a significant positive effect on the likelihood of detecting financial statement fraud, however the nature of external pressures and industry variables have a negative impact on the likelihood of detecting financial report fraud. Meanwhile, effective monitoring variables; Replacing auditors and management has no impact on the detection of financial reports that have the potential to be fraudulent.

Abstract

Prayer is an obligatory act of worship for Muslims which is a pillar of religion and one of the second pillars of Islam, which is carried out five times a day. One of the important movements in prayer is takbir, which is done at the beginning of worship. There are differences in the practice of takbir movements between the four major schools of thought, namely Hanafi, Maliki, Syafi'i, and Hanbali. The Syafi'i School recommends the position of the hands above the navel below the chest, while the Maliki School believes that the hands should be straightened (irsal), without the need to cross your arms. The Hanafi and Hanbali schools agree that the hands should be crossed with a position below the navel. This research aims to analyze the differences in takbir movements in prayer according to the four schools of thought. The method used in this research is library research with a qualitative approach, which analyzes literature related to fiqh and hadith from each school of thought. The research results show that differences in the takbir movement are rooted in differences in interpretation of existing hadiths. In conclusion, even though there are differences in practice, all of these views are valid and acceptable within the framework of Islamic teachings, so that Muslims can choose to follow the school of thought they believe in.

Abstract

Inclusive education is increasingly recognized as a fundamental aspect of equitable and quality education for all. However, its implementation often faces financial challenges, particularly in ensuring sufficient resources to accommodate learners with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. The urgency of this research lies in the growing demand for inclusive educational practices and the lack of sustainable financial models to support them effectively. This study aims to develop a sustainable funding model strategy for inclusive education by exploring innovative financial solutions such as public-private partnerships, community fundraising initiatives, and more efficient budget allocation mechanisms. Utilizing qualitative methods including case studies, policy analysis, and in-depth interviews with policymakers, educators, and financial experts this research reveals that inclusive education funding can be significantly improved through collaborative and diversified funding sources. The findings show that successful implementation often involves multi-stakeholder engagement, transparency in fund management, and adaptive financial planning. The implications of this research are far-reaching. It provides practical and scalable recommendations for policymakers, educational institutions, and non-governmental organizations to design and implement funding strategies that are both sustainable and equitable. These strategies not only improve access to inclusive education but also strengthen the overall quality and resilience of education systems, particularly in under-resourced regions.

Abstract

This study discusses how the role of teacher role models is applied in forming noble morals (akhlakul karimah) in students at the Al-Qur'an Darul Qur'an Walkutub Islamic Boarding School, Geger Bangkalan. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study evaluates how teachers provide examples and their influence on the formation of students' character. The findings of the study revealed that teacher role models are manifested through various aspects, such as the use of polite language, good behavior, and actions that reflect Islamic teachings. Teachers consistently apply moral values ​​in their daily interactions with students. Factors that support this success include the consistency of teacher attitudes and a supportive pesantren atmosphere. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced include the low discipline of some students and negative influences from outside the pesantren environment. As a recommendation, this study suggests ongoing teacher training, the implementation of a technology-based evaluation system, and strengthening cooperation with families and communities to maximize the process of forming students' akhlakul karimah.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a manual for assertive training techniques containing moral values in wulangreh fiber to increase emotional intelligence in junior high school students that is suitable according to the assessment of experts and potential users. This research uses the research and development design from Borg & Gall which modified the ten stages into three stages pre-development, development and post-development, but due to time. The technique used to analyze expert test data and test prospective users uses Aiken's content validity. Data collection instruments include expert test assessments, prospective user assessments, interviews and observations. Analysis of the test results shows that regarding the specific content of the guidebook, guidance and counseling material experts obtained a validation index of 0.83 (high), cultural experts obtained a validation index of 0.84 (high), prospective users obtained a validation index of 0.82 (high), while testing on the specific guidebook format by media experts obtained index of 0.86 (high).

Abstract

The construction of the sea fence in South Tangerang has become a national issue, with the 30.16 km fence lacking clear accountability. This phenomenon is also observed in other regions, such as Kamal Muara in North Jakarta, Batam, Sidoarjo, Surabaya, and Bekasi. The sea fence case has the potential to erode public trust in the government's ability to enforce law and deliver justice. This research aims to identify the conflicts between the community and the government in the construction of the sea fence in South Tangerang and to explore effective strategies for managing these conflicts. The study employs a qualitative library research method, which involves reviewing and analyzing existing literature, documents, reports, and other secondary sources relevant to the case. By synthesizing various viewpoints and theoretical frameworks, the research uncovers the internal and external factors, as well as political influences, that contribute to the conflict. The findings suggest that the conflict arises from a combination of communication barriers, lack of public participation, and an imbalance of power between the government and the local community. The study identifies strategies for managing the conflict, including improving communication and public participation in the development process, and ensuring that both governmental and public interests are balanced through principles of justice, transparency, flexibility, and inclusiveness. Additionally, the research proposes solutions to address the sea fence issue, focusing on legal aspects, transparency in information dissemination, and the recommendation for continuous social education and collaboration among academics, government, NGOs, businesses, and the public.

Abstract

Proof in the legal discovery process is a very important stage. If concrete events have been proven, the judge will obtain the truth regarding the disputed event. Then, the judge will qualify the incident as a legal incident by looking for relevant legal regulations to apply. The main aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive overview of the development of research, theories and concepts in the field of literature review studies of civil procedural law evidence through the knowledge of judges by analyzing the results of empirical studies.  This research uses a bibliographic method originating from reputable journals, by focusing the search through a search string through direct science, with the search focused on literature studies related to Civil Procedural Law Evidence in review articles. The results of the literature analysis in the Empirical Study include a lack of depth of discussion, a focus that is too general, not supported by relevant theory so that the theory is explained regarding legal norms governing the evidentiary process, also in the empirical study all the variables in the research are not built based on applicable theory, a lack of case analysis, a lack of in depth analysis of specific civil law cases, so it does not provide real examples of how civil law works and is not supported by research that strengthens the research results.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of young generations to become individuals with noble character and a deep understanding of Islamic values. However, the challenges of globalization demand creative approaches in delivering educational messages, one of which is through literary works such as novels. The novel Janji by Tere Liye was chosen as the object of this research because it contains religious, moral, social, cultural, and educational values that are relevant to Islamic education. This study aims to explore the values contained in the novel and analyze their relevance to Islamic education. The research method used is qualitative, with a library research approach and hermeneutic analysis. Data were collected through an in-depth reading of the novel Janji, then classified based on the values found in it. The analysis was carried out by identifying, reducing, and interpreting the text to discover connections between the novel’s values and the principles of Islamic education. The findings show that the novel Janji is rich in Islamic values, including aspects of aqidah (faith in Allah), akhlaq (honesty, patience, responsibility), and sharia (devotion in worship, fulfilling promises). These values are highly relevant to the goals of Islamic education in forming students with faith and noble character. In addition, the novel strengthens students' understanding of social and cultural values from an Islamic perspective. The implication of this research encourages educators to use literary works as alternative media in Islamic education, making the learning process more engaging and contextual.

Abstract

East Kutai Regency is one of the coastal regencies in East Kalimantan Province. The potential of marine fisheries resources is quite large and has a role in improving the community's economy. Fisheries production in East Kutai Regency is influenced by many factors, including the number of fishermen and the number of ships used. This study was conducted to determine how much influence the variables of the number of fishermen and the number of ships used have on marine fisheries production in East Kutai Regency. The method used is the regression analysis method. The results of the study revealed that, according to the t-test, the number of fishermen variable showed a t-value significantly lower than the critical value, indicating no significant impact on marine fisheries production in East Kutai Regency. Similarly, the number of ships variable also yielded a t-value below the critical threshold, further suggesting its negligible influence on production levels. Additionally, the F-test demonstrated that, when considered together, the number of fishermen and ships had an F-value well below the critical value, reinforcing the conclusion that these factors do not significantly affect marine fisheries production in the region. The implications of these findings suggest that factors such as the number of fishermen and ships may not be as influential in determining marine fisheries production in East Kutai as previously assumed. This could prompt further investigation into other potential variables, such as environmental conditions, technology, or fishing practices, which may have a more substantial impact on production. Policymakers and industry stakeholders may need to consider alternative strategies or focus on different factors to boost marine fisheries productivity in the region.

Abstract

In contemporary times, Islamic boarding schools serve as institutions for acquiring religious knowledge. One of the foundational subjects taught in this context is Furūḍul Ainiyah, which encompasses the most essential aspects of religious education. At the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School—an institution that continues to evolve—there exists a non-formal educational body known as Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Jadid. This institution, which operates in coordination with the main boarding school, offers a specific program dedicated to teaching Furūḍul Ainiyah, targeted exclusively at new students. The program is titled “Three-Month FA Deepening for New Santri. To investigate the effectiveness of this program, a qualitative research method was employed, utilizing field study techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research conducted in alignment with the methodology outlined, the findings reveal that the three-month FA deepening program has a notably positive impact. It has led to observable changes from one student cohort to the next. The program’s main objective is to ensure that new students thoroughly comprehend the teachings conveyed by instructors and mentors over the three-month period. The program’s influence extends beyond academic understanding. It fosters improved behavior among students, enhances their comprehension of religious principles, and encourages them to actively apply these teachings in real-life situations.
