Abstract

Activities of e-learning tend to use mobile devices to access online learning materials so that it emerges a new definition called mobile learning (m-learning). M-learning is part of the e-learning, as a new stage of progress of e-learning. M-learning focused on learning experience across spatial, temporal, conceptual, and involves interaction among them using mobile devices. Interactions between components of learning with mobile technologies that are integrated into the pedagogical process continue to grow as development of information technology. At this time the mobile learning is on demands as an innovation in learning. Learning with mobile technology can be used as a supplement to support classroom learning system. The aims for learners is they could learn from various sources, allowing for learning anywhere and anytime so it can use time efficiently, and encourage the development of skills that can be practiced outside the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of tenth-grade students on the topic of exponents through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The PBL model is oriented toward solving contextual problems, enabling students to be more active, creative, and critical in discovering mathematical concepts.The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of the study were 28 tenth-grade students at MA Islamiyah Syafiiyah. The instruments used were learning outcome tests (post-tests for each cycle), and the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) was set at 75. The action was considered successful if the percentage of classical mastery reached at least 75%. The results of the study showed a significant and consistent improvement in learning outcomes from the pre-cycle to Cycle II. In the Pre-Cycle, the class average score was only 48.93 with a very low classical mastery of 3.57% (only 1 student met the KKM of 75). After implementing the PBL model, the class average score in Cycle I increased to 64.82, with a classical mastery of 21.43% (6 students met the KKM). The most optimal improvement occurred in Cycle II, where the class average score rose to 75.18 and the classical mastery percentage successfully reached 75.18% (21 students met the KKM). This improvement indicates that PBL not only helps students understand the concept of exponents more deeply, but also enhances motivation and active engagement in the learning process. Thus, the implementation of the PBL model can improve students’ learning outcomes on exponent material and is worth applying as an effective alternative learning strategy

Abstract

Changes in gender roles and the increasing economic participation of women in Indonesia have given rise to a new family reality in which wives often become the more dominant income earners. This condition raises issues of justice in the distribution of marital property after divorce, which has traditionally adhered to an equal division as stipulated in Article 97 of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This study aims to analyze the problem of justice in the distribution of marital property when the wife contributes more significantly to the household economy and to formulate a reconstruction of justice based on maqāṣid al-sharīʿah. This research employs a normative legal method with a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing statutory, conceptual, comparative, and sociological approaches as supporting perspectives, with maqāṣid al-sharīʿah serving as the primary analytical framework. The data were obtained through a systematic literature review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials and were analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that an equal division of marital property does not always reflect substantive justice when the economic contributions of husband and wife are unequal. The maqāṣid al-sharīʿah approach particularly the principles of hifẓ al-māl (protection of property) and hifẓ al-nasl (protection of family) emphasizes that justice should be understood proportionally, in accordance with the actual contributions of each party. Therefore, this study recommends a progressive interpretation of Article 97 of the KHI so that the distribution of marital property is more oriented toward public interest (maṣlaḥah) and substantive justice within Islamic family law in Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to analyze an inclusive Arabic language learning model. The study utilizes a qualitative approach with a literature review type focusing on scholarly literature discussing the topic. Data sources include academic literature such as reference books and published journal articles. Content analysis is employed for data analysis. The results of this research indicate that: First, student diversity in the inclusive Arabic language learning model encompasses a profound understanding of students' diversity in terms of cultural background, abilities, learning styles, and special needs. Second, the development of Arabic language skills in the inclusive learning model provides an overview of the extent to which this model supports students in achieving desired competencies, including listening, speaking, writing, and reading

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon in which students have different levels of understanding in learning Arabic. To address this issue, the Arabic teacher of fifth-grade students at MI Nurul Hamidiyah Jungkarang applied the audiolingual method in teaching maharah al-kalam (speaking skill). The purpose of this study is to describe the results of implementing the audiolingual method in improving students’ speaking skills and to identify the factors influencing its implementation at MI Nurul Hamidiyah Jungkarang, Jrengik District, Sampang Regency. This study employed a field research design using a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of the research was the implementation of the audiolingual method in teaching maharah al-kalam, while the subjects included the school principal, Arabic teacher, and fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the audiolingual method was implemented through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preparation involved curriculum analysis, lesson planning, and material preparation. Implementation focused on repetition and imitation of dialogues, while evaluation used written and non-written assessments. Several factors influenced the implementation, including differences in students’ learning pace, limited audio facilities, restricted instructional time, and the lack of teacher training in audiolingual methods.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools play an active role in empowering alumni as a form of social responsibility to the community. In addition to functioning as Islamic educational institutions, Islamic boarding schools also actively develop the economic and da'wah fields in order to expand their contribution to the social life of the community. This study aims to describe the strategic planning for the empowerment of Al-Hasan Islamic boarding school alumni and to describe the implementation of the empowerment of Al-Hasan alumni. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that 1) the planning strategy is through the formulation of objectives and the identification of the readiness of resources for each da'wah and economic programme. 2) The implementation of alumni empowerment is through empowerment in the fields of da'wah and economics.

Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) aims to improve mathematics achievement in integers in seventh grade students of MTsN 1 Probolinggo through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, and to describe students' responses to the application of this approach. The contextual approach emphasizes learning through 'experience' rather than 'memorization' and connects learned concepts to the real world. This study uses the Kemmis and Taggart spiral model of CLAR, which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study were seventh grade students of MTsN 1 Probolinggo in the 2025/2026 academic year. The results of Cycle I showed an average formative test score of 175.86 with a classical completion percentage of 51.72% (15 out of 29 students completed the test), which did not meet the classical success indicators (e.g., 85%). After improvements in Cycle II, the average formative test score increased to 104.83, with 27 students completing the test, so that the classical completion percentage reached 93.10%. This significant improvement demonstrates that the implementation of contextual learning strategies is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes and meeting classical completeness standards.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IX students of MTsN 1 Probolinggo on the material of cubes and cuboids through the application of the Snowball Throwing learning strategy. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, including the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 29 students with a Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 75. Data collection techniques used learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average student score at the initial stage was 68.93 with a completeness of 58.62%. After the application of the Snowball Throwing strategy in cycle I, the average score increased to 89.48 with a completeness of 86.21%. In cycle II, the average score reached 95.52 with a classical completeness of 100%. These results indicate that the Snowball Throwing learning strategy is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes on the material of cubes and cuboids.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning motivation of ninth-grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Probolinggo in Mathematics through the use of Woyground educational game media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 35 ninth-grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Probolinggo in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection was carried out through observation, learning motivation questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed by calculating the percentage increase in learning motivation based on the formula proposed by Yonny et al. The results showed that the use of Woyground educational games can significantly increase student learning motivation. In the initial conditions, the average student learning motivation was 49% (moderate category). After the action in cycle I, learning motivation increased to 65% (high category), and in cycle II it increased again to 77.14% (very high category). Furthermore, increased learning motivation also impacted student learning outcomes, with completion rates increasing from 8.51% in the initial phase to 45.71% in Cycle I and 88.57% in Cycle II. This demonstrates that the implementation of the Woyground educational game media can create an engaging, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment, thereby enhancing student motivation and learning outcomes in Mathematics.

Abstract

The transformation of the national curriculum through the implementation of the Independent Curriculum requires educational institutions, including madrasas, to adapt without losing their Islamic identity. This study aims to explore how MI Munzalam Mubaroka Bulukerto integrates the Independent Curriculum with Islamic education in the context of learning and curriculum management. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with the madrasah principal, teachers, students, and parents. The results show that the madrasah successfully combined the principles of the Independent Curriculum—such as differentiated learning and the Pancasila student profile project—with Islamic values ​​through a thematic approach and a project based on akhlaqul karimah (good moral values). The madrasah principal acted as the driving force behind the integration, while teachers became creative actors in developing contextual, religious-based teaching modules. The study's conclusions confirm that the integration of the national curriculum and Islamic education is not only possible but can also serve as a model for developing a unique madrasah curriculum. This research contributes to the development of integrative curriculum practices in private madrasahs based on local values ​​and contexts.
