Abstract

This study is motivated by the mosque, which is considered "the House of Allah" and serves as an open space for everyone, particularly for the activities of wasathiyah (moderate) Islamic da’wa, presenting Islam's grand vision as a religion of rahmatan lil alamien (blessings for all creation). The importance of the mosque as a center for wasathiyah da’wa must be continuously maintained and preserved. The mosque acts as a neutral space that reflects the "face" of Islam, shaping the religiosity of Muslims. This research aims to present the Masjid Agung Nurul Falah in Paser Regency as a material object and a phenomenon of its role as a center of wasathiyah da’wa. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Islamic preaching activities at Masjid Agung Nurul Falah (MAN) are centered around wasathiyah Islam. The preaching at MAN adheres to strengthening the aqidah (creed) of Ahlus Sunnah. The construction of wasathiyah Islamic da’wa at MAN emphasizes four characteristics of wasathiyah Islam: tawassuth (taking the middle path), tawazun (balance), i’tidal (steadfast and upright), and tasamuh (tolerance). This approach represents the essence of Islam as rahmatan lil alamien, consistently positioned between extreme right (radicalism) and extreme left (liberalism) understandings.

Abstract

This research examines the factors that cause problematic murabahah financing at BMD Syariah Barat Magetan, and discusses the organizational work culture that is effective in finding solutions to resolve them. This research is field research using qualitative methods. The results of the research show that there are 2 factors that cause financing problems, namely internal factors originating from managerial and governance from the institution, and external factors originating from the customer's economic conditions. This research explains that there is an effective organizational work culture model to reduce the number of problematic murabahah financing, namely rescheduling and the most dominant one is billing customers' homes outside of working hours

Abstract

After the Conference of Ulama Al-Qur'an in 1984 and the Decree of the Minister of Religion number 25, it was agreed that the copying of the Al-Qur'an standardized using Ratsm Usmani. The initial emergence of Indonesian standard Mushaf Al-Qur'an cannot be separated from the existence of "Lajnah Pentashih Mushaf Al-Qur'an" which in the 1970's was under the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. However, if look at previous history, the copying of Al-Qur'an was carried out by various levels of society, including Ulama, Santri, or profesional copyists with interest for teaching purposes. So, before Lajnah was established, several regions had classic mushaf with their own characteristics. This research is intended to describe the development of Al Qur'an writting and its interpretation in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to describe the development of Al Qur'an writing. The approach used in this research is a library research approach, which utilizes library sources such as books, scientific journals, ar,ticles and reports. The results of this research show that the development of Al-Qur'an writing in Indonesia is generally divided into two major categories. Some were copied by rasm Usmani and the others with a combination of rasm imlai. This is shows that the traces of the Ottoman Empire in copying the Al Qur'an in the Nusantara were at least known, even though there were no written works that could explain it. As time progressed, the tradition of Al-Quran writing in mushaf (handwritten) form began to innovate with the emergence of various offers in the matter of copying mushaf, including lithography (stone printing), hypography (metal printing)

Abstract

The Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application, launched by PT. Pegadaian in 2018, aims to facilitate customer transactions. Despite its potential, most customers at PT. Pegadaian UPC Ngrambe, who are predominantly elderly, do not understand or are uninterested in using the application. This study explores the impact of the PDS application on customer transactions and the level of assistance it provides. Using a quantitative research method and a questionnaire-based survey, 100 respondents were randomly selected. Data analysis conducted with SPSS version 29 revealed significant findings: the significance value (Sig.) of 0.006 is below 0.05, indicating a meaningful impact of application use on customer transactions. The t-test result (t count = 2.975 > 2.228) confirmed that application usage significantly influences customer transactions (X on Y). However, the effect size is relatively modest, contributing only 24% to the improvement of customer transactions, suggesting that other factors also play a role. This limited influence could be attributed to well-functioning traditional transactions and customers' limited digital literacy. The study recommends enhancing socialization efforts and providing targeted training, particularly for elderly users, to increase their understanding and usage of the PDS application, thereby maximizing its benefits for customer transactions.

Abstract

Indonesia is the 6th most indebted country, 3rd most corrupt country, 112th out of 127 countries in human resources ranking with 30% of the population living below the poverty line and 12 million open unemployed. Improving collaboration in schools is an important step in creating a more effective and enjoyable learning environment. Collaboration not only involves interactions between teachers and students but also involves parents, communities and various other stakeholders. The participatory leadership model is often defined as a principal who involves active participation from various parties, such as teachers, students, parents, the community, and all those related to the teaching and learning process in the educational institution. in the study entitled ‘Principal's Participatory Leadership Strategy in Improving Collaboration in Schools’ is through literature review. Literature review is a research method that includes searching, collecting, and analysing information contained in written works or sources such as books, journal articles, theses, and other related documents. By applying participatory leadership, the Principal of MA Ma'arif Balong can create a school environment that is inclusive, innovative, and focused on student needs.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain layanan yang belum optimal dalam mendukung perkembangan peserta didik, baik secara akademis maupun psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan tantangan yang dihadapi peserta didik, serta menentukan solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan peran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, yaitu pengumpulan dan analisis literatur yang relevan. Data diperoleh dari buku dan jurnal yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan peserta didik meliputi aspek emosional, akademis, dan sosial yang harus dipenuhi agar mereka dapat berkembang secara optimal. Namun, terdapat berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, stigma terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling, dan kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa kolaborasi antara guru bimbingan dan konseling, orang tua, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas layanan. Untuk meningkatkan peran bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah, perlu dikembangkan program yang lebih komprehensif serta meningkatkan partisipasi orang tua dalam mendukung layanan bimbingan. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut diharapkan bimbingan dan konseling dapat lebih efektif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the management of character-based Islamic religious education for blind children in the Integrated Blindness LKSA ‘Aisyiyah Ponorogo. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach to understand the experiences of blind children receiving character-based Islamic education at LKSA Tunanetra Terpadu ‘Aisyiyah Ponorogo. The research explores how these children perceive and experience Islamic character formation, with data gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis involves reduction, categorization, and theme identification to highlight key themes such as spiritual closeness, discipline, and empathy. Triangulation and member-checking are applied to ensure data validity, aiming to capture the comprehensive meaning of religious education in the children’s lives. The character-based Islamic education at LKSA Tunanetra Terpadu 'Aisyiyah Ponorogo is essential in fostering moral, spiritual, and social growth in blind children. Its tailored curriculum helps children internalize Islamic values for future guidance. Programs like muhadhoroh, tahfidz, and routine prayers allow them to learn Islamic teachings while using adaptive tools like Braille, audio, and tactile methods. These approaches bridge their visual limitations and provide a comprehensive learning experience. Overall, the institution plays a vital role in equipping children with values that shape their personal development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of learning outcomes of 20 students of class V B UPTD SDN 48 Barru, after the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model in Natural Science (IPA) learning with the help of audio visuals. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which in its implementation there are researchers and collaborators. The data collection technique in this study is a direct technique while the data collection tool uses observation sheets and question sheets. This study was carried out with two cycles, the average value obtained by students after taking the final test from cycle I was 57 to cycle II, namely 85 from the ideal value that could possibly be achieved 100. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model with the help of audio visuals can improve the learning outcomes of class V B UPTD SDN 48 Barru students.

Abstract

Many people in Lenggadai Hilir Village, Rimba Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau use dug well water and drilled well water as clean water, drinking water and household needs that look cloudy, colored and slightly odorous, possibly containing metals such as Fe and Zn. The content of Fe and Zn metals in clean water has the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 416 / Menkes / PER / IX / 1990, namely a maximum of 1.0 mg / l Fe and a maximum of 15 mg / l Zn. The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of Fe and Zn in the water used by the population. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Determination of Fe and Zn levels in water samples in the village was carried out using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS), which were previously destroyed with nitric acid. Before determining the levels, it began with an identification test with several chemical reactions to ensure the presence of Fe and Zn content in the samples. The results showed that all samples tested contained Fe and Zn. All samples of drilled wells contain Fe, the levels of which do not meet the requirements and all Zn samples meet the requirements, from 8 dug well samples there are 6 dug well samples contaminated with Fe, namely dug well 1 (1), dug well 1 (2), dug well 2 (1), dug well 2 (2), dug well 3 (1) and dug well 3 (2). Thus, the water used by the community as clean water and household needs should not be used for household water needs and drinking water before processing and filtering before consumption.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the Islamic economic instruments. Zakat is a sharia fiscal policy in Indonesia which has a strategic role in supporting the economy (Tinggi et al., 2024). Zakat is also a socio-economic instrument for the community to create social justice values through wealth redistribution, economic empowerment and poverty alleviation. This research aims to explore the low level of public interest in giving zakat and paying zakat through BAZNAS which occurs at BAZNAS Dharmasraya. As qualitative research, this article focuses on investigating an in-depth understanding of the lack of zakat muzakki through the Amil Zakat Institution. Data collection techniques through literature studies and interviews with BAZNAS. The research results show that: (1) The community does not yet have full awareness of zakat due to their still minimal understanding of the obligation to zakat; (2) Motivation to give zakat in society is influenced by their level of welfare because in recent years, the level of welfare in society has decreased due to the Covid-19 pandemic; (3) Zakat is distributed independently, such as assistance with education costs, cash assistance, and assistance in the form of business capital to underprivileged communities.
