Abstract

Mayoritas penduduk dusun Klemut sebagai pelaku UMKM sehingga kerajinan tangan macrame merupakan sebuah upaya kesempatan peluang usaha untuk dapat memberikan tambahan nilai daya jual ekonomi khususnya kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Hal ini didukung dengan banyaknya ibu yang tidak bekerja dan memiliki waktu luang. Permasalahan dihadapi belum ada seseorang memiliki keahlian di bidang kerajinan tangan. Maka dari itu, dilaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan pelatihan kerajinan tangan macrame dalam pembuatan gantungan pot yang diikuti oleh 14 peserta. Tujuan diadakan pelatihan adalah 1) ibu-ibu rumah tangga mampu menghasilkan produk karya terbaru dari hasil kerajinan tangan macrame dan mampu mengembangkan berbagai variasi, dan 2) timbul keinginan minat berwirausaha dengan menjual hasil karya kerajinan tangannya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah tahap persiapan anggaran pembelian alat dan bahan yang terdiri dari tali kur dan pot tanaman. Tahap pelaksanaan dan evaluasi antara lain sosialisasi minat kewirausahaan, pengenalan praktik dasar pelatihan macrame dan penyelesaian macrame guna memaksimalkan hasil karya kerajinan tangan. Hasil pelatihan yang diperoleh, peserta memberikan respons secara positif dan antusias untuk minat berwirausaha dengan ditunjukkan keaktifan berpartisipasi mengikuti pelatihan dan memahami mengenai tentang kewirausahaan yang didukung dengan ketercapaian ibu-ibu rumah tangga bisa mempraktikkan secara mandiri proses yang telah diajarkan.

Abstract

Children are an asset of a nation, children as a part of the younger generation play a very strategic role as the successor of a nation. Therefore, it is very important to instill Islamic religious values from an early age in children so that they can create good and quality personalities in the future. The purpose of this research and service is to find out the efforts that can be made to improve the quality and religiosity of children. The service method used by the author is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, which is a community service method in the form of research and carried out with participation with activities in the community within a social and community sphere in order to make change actions for the better. From the results of this study, it was found that by instilling religious values in children through habits such as praying in congregation in mosques, providing knowledge about the Islamic religion, and also providing interesting activities, it can increase children's enthusiasm for learning and it is easier to absorb values well delivered.

Abstract

Covid-19 appeared in early 2020 until now its spread has not been cut off and has changed the order of life, including religion. This article describes the role of NU Soloraya's youth in responding to the spread of Covid-19. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature and uses a sociological approach to religion. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model. States to limit its spread by implementing health protocols. The youth of NU Soloraya responded by providing spiritual guidance and also encouraging the congregation to actively develop moderation theology, namely the theology of caring for others that is manifested in the spirituality of humanity. They position themselves as facilitators, animators, enablers, catalysts so that they can become opinion leaders and balance discourse about Covid-19. With empathy, sympathy, and concern, they strengthen social resilience so that the majlis taklim network and Islamic boarding schools become social capital to tackle Covid-19.

Abstract

Today's reading culture is very rarely found because of the times that continue to this day, let alone entering the era of globalization in which there are various kinds of digitization which in general all work can be done easily and quickly. The program, which was created in Cinet Hamlet, Bulurejo Village, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province, is related to restoring reading interest during this very massive digitalization era, namely the Cinet Library. The method that devotees use is environmental observation. From the results of these observations, the devotees have not found one from all sides and corners of the literacy place in Cinet Hamlet, namely the library. The purpose of this service is to make children return to reading books even though the digitalization era has entered their age, which are still in elementary school.

Abstract

The importance of the soft skills of high school students today tends to be a social concern. Judging from the development of digitalization of existing media, high school students need to prepare and equip themselves to face the rhythm of learning in higher education, or be ready to enter the community with all their competencies. The purpose of this service is to provide assistance for high school students and/or equivalent to Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in the process of making short films. The service is carried out in two stages and is located at MAN 1 Special Program (PK) Surakarta. Through this service, the participants were given material about the initial concept of making a short film, as well as a number of stages in making a short film. Then, participants were asked to practice some simple techniques in taking pictures on film, and continued with the process of making short films. Overall, the participants are expected to have the ability and knowledge of how to make a short film, starting from drafting concepts and story ideas, making scripts, the execution process in shooting, as well as editing and the final stage.

Abstract

The recommendation of the PPPA Ministry is that children should ideally be allowed to use gadgets after they are at least 13 years old. However, the fact is that in Alastuwo Village, Kebakkramat, Karanganyar, many children under the age of 13 are addicted to gadgets. For this reason, the UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta service team intends to provide a solution to this problem through a traditional game outreach program. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) by actively participating in activities with the subject of Alastuwo Village children who are studying from kindergarten to elementary school. There are three types of games that we socialize. They are jumping rope, marbles, and gobak sodor. This program shows positive results, that are evidenced by the reduced frequency and intensity of using gadgets in children. In addition, this game is also continuously repeated by children in the following days along with peers. We hope that this program can be recommended and carried out in other areas experiencing similar problems, both with the same game and other types of traditional games.

Abstract

Knowledge about raw food materials is one of the most critical things to halal that UMKM's business owners must know. Raw food materials that are free from najis will be one of the determinants of the final product's halal status. This program aimed to introduce and provide information about safe raw food materials and non-potentially haram. This program was held to train the food business owner around Solo Raya. They are trained to identify safe raw food materials dan non potentially haram in manufacturing each of their business products.

Abstract

In Malangsari there is a non-formal learning institution about religion, namely the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) Albarokah which is located at the Albarokah Mosque. TPA Albarokah teaches Iqra and Qur'anic Literacy, Fiqh, and Akidah Akhlak. The devotee conducts service by means of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the ustaz. This devotion aims to teach the ustaz a method of singing about the adab of eating and drinking and knowing the ten angels of God and their duties. The function of this method is to make it easier for students to understand landfill material. Devotion is done by lectures and practices. As a result, students are easier to understand and memorize with the singing method.

Abstract

The pandemic has caused a change in the form of activities from direct activities to online activities. On the other hand, educational institutions are allowed to hold learning and teaching activities but with strict health conditions and protocols. One of the educational institutions that carry out the learning and teaching process is the Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School (PPTQ) Abi Ummi Boyolali. Even though they are required to implement strict health protocols, there are still some students who do not implement them. The purpose of this service is to increase the awareness of the students in implementing health protocols. Data collected by interview and observation. The result of this dedication is an increase in the understanding and awareness of the students in implementing health protocols, such as wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.

Abstract

Education is a process to change attitudes and behavior to make humans kill through teaching and exercise, processes, and how to educate. Education is not only an activity organized at school, but education is also held outside schools such as education in the Qur’an education park. Along with the development of times in the world, there are many new problems and never thought about before. Moreover, regarding the problems of education of the Qur’an which is still minimal and often ruled out. One of them is motivation in learning to recite the Qur’an, a lack of strategy in the learning method that can affect the encouragement of students to learn so that making learning less effective and learning goals are not fully achieved. With the administration of the BCM (Play, Stories, Singing) which is in accordance with the conditions of students who are still children will be able to increase the motivation of students to study. This service aims to increase understanding of how to increase the motivation to learn of students through the BCM (Play, Stories, Singing) method in TPQ. The method used is PAR (Participatory Action Research) which is to jump and be involved directly in implementing TPQ activities. After being carried out with the BCM (Play, Stories, Singing) there is a change in the increasing motivation of students in studying recite the Qur’an.
