Abstract

Background: Stunting is a major health problem affecting child growth in Indonesia. Posyandu cadres play a crucial role in preventing stunting through nutrition education but often face limitations in accessing information. At the Cihaurbeuti Health Center in Ciamis Regency, a mobile learning application can be an effective solution to enhance the knowledge of posyandu cadres. Objective: To enhance the knowledge of posyandu cadres on stunting prevention through a mobile learning application in the working area of Cihaurbeuti Health Center, Ciamis Regency. The method involves developing a mobile application that includes educational material on stunting prevention and training posyandu cadres to utilize the application. An evaluation is conducted to measure the improvement in cadres' knowledge and the effectiveness of the application compared to leaflets. Results: The results of the service showed a significant increase in knowledge after using the mobile learning application. The average knowledge score increased from 55% before training to 80% after training. The mobile learning application proved to provide interactive and easily accessible information. Knowledge application also improved, with posyandu cadres being more capable of providing accurate education to the community regarding stunting prevention. Conclusion: This program demonstrates that a mobile learning application is an effective tool for enhancing the knowledge of posyandu cadres and can serve as a model for other health education programs. It is expected to have a positive impact on stunting prevention and child health in Ciamis Regency

Abstract

Introduction: Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder characterized by disturbed thoughts, emotions and behavior. Schizophrenia occurs due to chemical abnormalities in the brain so that nerve impulses and systemic functions are disrupted. This makes sufferers unable to process information from and to the five senses so that inappropriate projections appear Objective: The samples that were used as research subjects were 96 respondents Method: This type of research is a type of quantitative analytic research using a cross sectional approach. In this study data collection for the independent variable and the dependent variable was carried out simultaneously based on the status of the situation at that time (data collection), namely the relationship between stress levels and blood pressure in the elderly. Result: this program was successful in providing knowledge about social support for schizophrenia patients. Conclusion: In conclusion, this program was successful in providing knowledge about social support for schizophrenia patients.

Abstract

Introduction: Inmates (hereinafter referred to as WBP) often experience mental health disorders including depression, severe stress, and anxiety. This affects the quality of sleep which will trigger other health problems such as heart failure, coronary heart disease, and heart attacks. Objective: to socialize and train five-finger therapy or hereinafter referred to as Five Finger Therapy in improving sleep quality in Inmates (WBP). Method: th method of this activity uses lectures in socialization and training simulations. The number of participants is 40 people. The activity starts from the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and observations before and after the implementation of therapy. Result: the results of the activity showed that out of 40 respondents to WBP in the Class 2B Banjar City male prison, it was found that before Five Finger Therapy was carried out, 30 WBP experienced poor sleep quality (75.0%) and 10 people or 25% had good sleep quality. After Five Finger Therapy was carried out, the category of good sleep quality increased to 32 people (80.0%) and poor quality decreased to 18 people (20.0%). Conclusion: this indicates that Five Finger Therapy has successfully improved the quality of WBP sleep, so that the training is effective in improving the quality of sleep of male WBP in prison. This therapy makes a positive contribution to the mental health of WBP. Recommendations for the continued implementation of five finger therapy and the importance of support from friends and prison officers in facilitating the action

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is a silent disease because people do not know they have hypertension before checking their blood pressure. The incidence of hypertension reaches 9.4 million deaths worldwide every year, the number of hypertension sufferers will continue to increase sharply and it is predicted that by 2025 around 29% of adults worldwide will suffer from hypertension. Objective: This service aims to train foot massage for hypertensive patients in an effort to reduce blood pressure Method: used in this activity uses several methods and stages consisting of the preparation stage and the activity stage. The preparation stage consists of preliminary studies, coordination with partners as well as preparation of the location and supporting media. The activity stage consists of pre-testing participants, taking blood pressure measurements Result: Based on the results of the training, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge with an average increase in post-test results of 17.2 with the highest score in the post-test being 100. Conclusion: There was a decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive patients after the intervention with an average decrease in respondents' blood pressure of 10 mmHg

Abstract

Background As age increases, the body undergoes many changes, both in terms of physical and psychological. Striking changes are physical changes which often cause health problems are changes in the cardiovascular system. One of them is hypertension which often occurs in the elderly. Based on data from the Ciamis Regency Health Office, there are around 640 elderly people experiencing hypertension in Cipaku sub-district. Hypertension is a lifelong disease, so it needs to be treated and maintained so that blood pressure is always in a normal state. One of them is by using alternative therapy of soursop leaf decoction water which in the Ciamis area itself has many soursop trees. The object of this service is health cadres in the Ciamis district area as many as 30 cadres. The method of this service is to provide training to cadres about soursop leaf decoction water and its impact on blood pressure. The results showed that the cadres' knowledge became better after being given this training with a picture of knowledge with an increase of 26.0. Conclusions Soursop leaf decoction water can be used as an alternative therapy in maintaining normal blood pressure. therapy in maintaining normal blood pressure.

Abstract

Based on WHO data (2019), there are 40 billion people in the world who need palliative care, including those suffering from chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease (38.5%), cancer (34%), chronic lung disease (10.3%), AIDS (5.7%), diabetes (4.6%), kidney failure, chronic liver disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and neurological diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, dementia, congenital disorders, and drug-resistant tuberculosis. Optimizing the role of nurses in palliative care screening is a crucial step for implementing effective nursing interventions. Appropriate screening allows early identification of patient needs, so that nurses can design and implement interventions that suit individual patient needs. The aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge and abilities of nurses in providing palliative nursing care to patients with chronic and terminal illnesses. The methods used to solve partner problems are community education and training. Community education is carried out by the service team by providing material about the basic concepts of palliative nursing, end of life, screening palliative care (SPC), palliative nursing care. The results of this Community Service activity show that there is an increase in nurses' knowledge about palliative nursing after following the training provided by the Community Service Team, as shown by the post test scores of the majority of participants having a good level of knowledge, 17 nurses (80.9%).

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: The role of health cadres as part of the community element is an important factor in increasing social support from the community so that it can improve the quality of life of anemia clients in pregnant women. Cadres are expected to play an active role and be able to encourage, motivate and educate the community. Results of the National Health Indicator System (Siskernas) in 2016 The incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia is 37.1 (Indonesia, 2016). Based on a survey conducted, data was obtained from 24 pregnant women who attended pregnancy classes in Glonggong village, 13 pregnant women (54%) had Hb <11mg/dL. The community service program offered in the Glonggong Village Area, Gondang District, Sragen Regency is the Empowerment of Cadres "Deras Ceria" Smart Cadres to Prevent Anemia Pregnant Women Objective: 1. Increase cadre knowledge about anemia; 2. Improve cadre skills in filling out Fe monitoring cards in pregnant women Method: Empowerment activities are carried out by providing health education, lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and conducting direct practice on how to fill out Fe monitoring cards in pregnant women. A pretest and posttest were conducted on anemia in pregnant women. This activity was attended by 15 Posyandu/Health cadres representing Posyandu in Glonggong Village Result: There was an increase in cadre knowledge about anemia in pregnant women and an increase in cadre skills in using the Fe monitoring book for pregnant women. Conclusion: There was an increase in cadre knowledge about anemia in pregnant women and an increase in cadre skills in using the Fe monitoring book for pregnant women. Abstract

Introduction: This community service activity aims to enhance the capabilities of mental health cadres (Keswa) in providing first aid for psychiatric emergencies at Puskesmas Bantur. Objective: A total of 25 cadres participated in the training, which covered both theoretical and practical aspects of handling psychiatric emergency situations. Method: The training began with lectures on the fundamentals of psychiatric emergencies and first aid techniques. Results: Participants then engaged in case simulations to apply their knowledge in real-life scenarios. Discussions and Q&A sessions were held to deepen understanding and address participants' questions. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in the cadres' knowledge and skills. Conclusion: Prior to the training, many cadres felt uncertain about managing psychiatric emergencies. After the training, they demonstrated increased confidence and improved ability to apply first aid techniques. This activity is expected to enhance the effectiveness of cadres in providing field support and strengthen their role within the community health system.

Abstract

Introduction: Background According to American psychotic association, Mental health is the result of a successful adjustment or lack of psychopathology. It also refers to a state in which one does not experience a breakdown in psychological aspects, emotional, eehavior, and social. According to who's regional asia Pacific in Indonesia, There are 9,162.886 cases or 3.7 %s of the population. According to basic health research 2018, the case of mental or mental illness in Indonesia has improved, especially on the Central Java, where prevalence of mental illness is approximately 4.4 %. In the prison house, An inmate will face various problems and sufferings. Theoretically, The major suffering the inmates suffered was the loss of freedom of movement. However, There's extra suffering from the loss of this freedom, which is: 1). Lost the chance to have sexual relations. 2). Loss of privacy rights. 3). Lost access to getting help and kindness. 4). Lost personal secrecy due to a negative stigma of society.5). Feeling the infantile process, it's the treatment that makes an adult feel like a child. Observe The purpose of this activity is to Detect Mental Health of Inmates in Kebumen Class IIB Prison. Method: This method of activity uses descriptive analysis methods Result and conclusion: According to the mental health screening prognosis that has been carried out to 135 inmates, the result of questionnaire depressive questionnaires 4.44 % is very bad, anxiety category 4.44 % is severe, and the stress category of 2.22 %s is very severe.Generated questionnaire 24,44 % has a GME/Psychotic /PTSD problem.

Abstract

Introduction: Efforts to change health behavior to support an increase in levels are carried out through a Clean and Healthy Living Behavior development program, one of which is washing hands. The low level of parental behavior in training children to wash their hands with soap before and after eating is the reason why it is important to wash their hands. Objective: The purpose of this service was to empower students to improve hand washing skills for students at Elementary School 4 Purbowangi Kebumen. Method: This public service was conducted by providing counseling using the correct hand washing demonstration method to 94 students, the activity steps include: the staff observes the hand washing skills of students before being given treatment (pretest), then provides counseling using a demonstration method about hand washing. The next step is for the service to observe the hand washing skills of students after being given treatment (posttest). Result: The results of this community service activity showed that the majority of participants were male, 51 students (54.3%), 33 (35.1%) aged at most 10 years. Hand washing skills before and after being given the intervention improved. This is evident from the results of the average hand washing skill before the demonstration was 41.0904 (poor) and the average hand washing skill after the demonstration was 96.2234 (very good). Conclusion: Activities to empower elementary school students regarding hand washing skills went smoothly and was able to improve the skills of all students in washing their hands.
