Abstract

21st-century education utilizes Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning medium by starting to reduce the use of old methods to keep abreast of the current development.  Daring is a form of utilizing ICT technology in education through the use of online features as learning intermediaries. But in reality, daring doesn’t provide effectiveness because it causes learning problems. Therefore, Blended Learning is considered to be a method that can solve daring problems. Blended learning is a combination of daring and luring. UIN Walisongo Semarang is a university that applies blended learning. This is motivated by the emergence of daring problems during COVID-19. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. This study focuses on the role of implementing blended learning at UIN Walisongo Semarang in overcoming daring problems. The result of this study is the application of blended learning at UIN Walisongo during COVID-19 is good enough and effective enough to overcome problems arising from daring during COVID-19. But blended learning is not recommended to be applied continuously because can make students confuse, but blended learning can be done occasionally when teachers/lecturers are unable to be physically present in class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write opinion texts of SMA 4 Tangerang Selatan students on learning Indonesian at school. The researcher created a questionnaire containing questions regarding the implementation of Indonesian language learning at SMA 4 Tangerang Selatan. This research was sourced from class X SMA 4 South Tangerang as many as 32 students as respondents. The research data used is the opinion of class X students of SMA 4 South Tangerang. The source of the research data is the opinion of the questionnaire. Data collection techniques using observation, note taking, documentation, and questionnaire techniques. Research analysis techniques use qualitative content analysis techniques, namely data analysis techniques or methods to study and analyze communication systematically, objectively and qualitatively. The skills of writing opinions of class X SMA Tangerang Selatan students on learning Indonesian at school provide many facts and can also be used as material for evaluating learning in class in the future. The number of students who liked Indonesian was more than the number of students who did not like it, namely 72%. The students' opinion about teacher teaching that they feel is that there are teachers who teach but are less varied, namely only focusing on theory but not often practicing so that students quickly get bored. Learning material that students find difficult is figurative material. Fun learning for students is learning that includes games

Abstract

This study applies the Snowball Throwing method to improve the quality of student learning in PAI subjects. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach in two cycles at SDI Daruttaqwa schools. Data was collected through classroom observation, PAI teacher interviews, and assessment of learning outcomes. The results showed that the application of the Snowball Throwing method consistently improved the quality of student learning and their motivation in PAI learning. These findings provide practical implications for PAI teachers in improving learning and contributing to the use of snowball trhowing methods in learning. Improving the quality of student learning is the main goal of education. Various methods and strategies have been developed to increase the effectiveness of learning. One approach that has proven effective is the application of Snowball Throwing in learning. The concept of Snowball Trhowing is similar to a snowball being thrown. In a learning context, students begin by asking questions or sharing ideas relevant to the topic being studied. Then, they threw the question or idea to other classmates. Classmates then give new responses or thoughts related to the question or idea. The results of this study showed an increase in the quality of student learning, namely in cycle I by 57.14%, then in cycle II it increased to 94.28%. This translates to an increase of 37.14%. Thus, the use of the Snowball Trhowing learning method is able to improve the quality of student learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there is a world of renewal in the world of education such as education that combines formal education with non-formal education which is reflected in Islamic boarding schools such as SMP Alfa Ali Masyur Mojotengah Wonosobo. This Islamic boarding school based school involves the kiai as the leader of the Islamic boarding school who takes part in managing the school. The purpose of this research is to find out how the kiai's thinking contributes to the management of SMP Alfa Ali Masyur Mojotengah Wonosobo. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The results of this study are the concept of KH. Ahmad Rofik Masykur in developing education at SMP Alfa Ali Masykur Mojotengah Wonosobo was able to instill an attitude of discipline and get used to good morals. In school management, they are able to manage employees and create a special team in program development. The supporting factors for the development of the Alfa Ali Masykur Middle School institution are the enthusiasm of the management, the existence of good opinion among the outside community. Then the inhibiting factor for the contribution of the kiai's thinking in the management of Alfa Ali Masykur Middle School is the existence of changing government policies, administrators and students who suddenly leave.

Abstract

Web-Based Database in Online Learning: BLENDED LEARNING to Increase Learning Motivation. The current article presents some of the findings of journal-style research focusing on blended learning methodologies. Using data from online journal databases, the results of research journals are analyzed. The focus of this journal article is on mixed learning methodologies. This article discusses the concept of blended learning, blended learning principles, research methods, data collection techniques, research tools, and data analysis. The results of a survey conducted by several journals show that the blended learning model is a combination of traditional classroom learning and online learning. A serious student must be constantly engaged and able to find learning methods that work for them. Teachers only function as facilitators, mediators, and mentors who create conducive conditions for the development of understanding in the minds of students. Application is applied through all subjects taught, through daily activities and curriculum activities, and not only in the subjects of Islamic Education, Moral Education, and Citizenship Education. This blended learning will strengthen the learning model in educational technology.

Abstract

The background of writing this is that the results of students' mathematics learning are still low in class VI SD. Students do more practice assignments and are less actively involved in the learning process. One alternative is to apply the application of Realistic Mathematics Education. The purpose of this study is to find out that the application of a Realistic Mathematics Education approach can help improve students' learning outcomes in mathematics. The method in this research is classroom action research. Instruments in this study, namely: the description test instrument and the non-test observation sheet instrument. The results of this study indicate that students' mathematics learning outcomes can be increased through the application of Realistic Mathematics Education. In cycle one, students' mathematics learning outcomes at the 1st meeting were 45% in the sufficient category and at the 2nd meeting it increased to 57% in the sufficient category. In the second cycle, the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes at the 1st meeting was 60%, which was in the sufficient category, and at the 2nd meeting, the 85% increase was in the very good category. In the second cycle, there was a very good increase at the 2nd meeting. This can be categorized as a successful increase because it exceeds the minimum success indicator of 75% with KKM = 69 as a benchmark. The results of this study are expected to be useful to related parties who can use them, such as school principals, teachers, parents and students as well as future researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the age level of Kepulauan Seribu community on their knowledge of marine conservation, the influence of the education level of Kepulauan Seribu community on their knowledge of marine conservation, and the interaction between the age level and education of Kepulauan Seribu community on their knowledge of marine conservation. This research was conducted in Pramuka Island, Pulau Panggang, Kepulauan Seribu. The method used is ex post facto with a sample number of 60. The sample was divided into groups based on age level and education. The instrument used is a marine conservation knowledge test of 45 questions in the form of multiple choice with four alternative answers. The hypothesis was tested using the F test via bidirectional ANAVA at a=0.05. The ratio of F between columns has Fcount=0.097 which is smaller than Ftable=3.19. This means that there is no influence on the age level of the Thousand Islands community on their knowledge of marine conservation. The ratio of F between rows has Fcalculate = 3.915 greater than Ftable = 2.80. This shows that the level of education affects the knowledge of the Thousand Islands community about marine conservation. The ratio F of column and row interaction has Fcount=1.206 which is smaller than Ftable=2.30. So there is no influence of interaction between the age level and education of the people of Thousand Islands on their knowledge about marine conservation. The results of this research are expected to be a thought for all parties to pay attention to educational activities in the Thousand Islands both formally and informally. This is important because most of Indonesia consists of oceans and its conditions are increasingly threatened.

Abstract

The existence of a teacher plays an important role in the community environment both at school and in society. Teachers are required to have exemplary personality and behavior in social life in society. The position of a teacher demands to be professional in educating and behaving not only related to his duties in the learning process but also his duties in society. The research objective is to find out how the teacher's role is in schools and society and the obstacles to the teacher's role. The focus of this research is what is the role of the teacher in schools and the community and what are the obstacles encountered in carrying out the role of the teacher in schools and the community. The method used by researchers is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type that collects data using interviews, journals, and field observations. The results of this study that 1). The role of the teacher both at school and in the community is very important as a factor in achieving the goal of quality education. 2). The inhibiting factors in carrying out the teacher's role cannot hinder their role as a teacher but make it a challenge faced by the teacher.

Abstract

Thіѕ ѕtudу аіmѕ tо dеtеrmіnе the іmрlеmеntаtіоn оf Sіgіl-Bаѕеd E-Mоdulе lеаrnіng mеdіа іn аn effort tо іmрrоvе ѕtudеnt learning outcomes in Bіоlоgу ѕubjесtѕ. Thе subjects оf thіѕ ѕtudу wеrе ѕtudеntѕ of сlаѕѕ XI SMA Pusaka Nuѕаntаrа 2 Bekasi. Thіѕ tуре оf research is іnсludеd in PTK (Clаѕѕrооm Action Research) whеrе thе ѕtерѕ аrе аѕ follows: 1) planning; 2) іmрlеmеntаtіоn; 3) оbѕеrvаtіоn аnd; 4) reflection. Rеtrіеvаl оf research data through observation, written tеѕtѕ, and ԛuеѕtіоnnаіrеѕ wіth research іnѕtrumеntѕ іn thе form оf: 1) оbѕеrvаtіоn ѕhееtѕ; 2) tеѕt ԛuеѕtіоnѕ аnd; 3) ԛuеѕtіоnnаіrе ѕhееt. Thе results of thе ѕtudу ѕhоw that thе аррlісаtіоn of Sigil-based E-Module Lеаrnіng mеdіа саn іmрrоvе ѕtudеnt lеаrnіng outcomes іn Biology subjects. Thіѕ іѕ based on thе асԛuіѕіtіоn оf thе аvеrаgе percentage оf ѕtudеntѕ' lеаrnіng outcomes in сусlе I оf 67.18 and the аvеrаgе learning оutсоmеѕ of students іn сусlе II оf 78.38. Thе achievement оf KKM cycle I was 52.80% аnd thе асhіеvеmеnt оf KKM сусlе II wаѕ 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the practicality of designing and developing Android-based learning media applications for facial, body massage and waxing subjects at SMK N 7 Padang in the 2022/2023 school year. This research uses research and development methods (Research & Development). The research subjects were 78 students of SMK Negeri 7 Padang. This research method uses analysis (ADDIE), with the design and development steps as follows. (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluate. The results of the practicality test assessment as a whole the practicality assessment of the Android-Based Learning Media Application in the subject of Facial, Body Massage and Waxing Class XI Beauty Department at SMK Negeri 7 Padang is 94.44%, so that the level of practicality can be interpreted as very practical to use. In conclusion, based on assessments along with expert input as well as from the results of field trials of the Android-Based Learning Media Application as a learning medium, it has been tested for feasibility, superiority, and used in the learning process in the subject of Face Care, Body (Body Massage) and Waxing for Class XI Beauty Department at SMK Negeri 7 Padang.
