Abstract

This research discusses the application of audio-visual media to improve English language skills at the elementary school level. This research is motivated by the low ability of students to listen and speak English, so it is appropriate to improve it with the help of audio-visual media. In compiling this article, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method. The subject of this study was an English teacher at MI Islamiyyah Suwawal 02. This study aimed to understand what the research subject experienced in the application of audio-visual media to class V MI, starting from the benefits of using audio-visual media during learning, the obstacles experienced in the application of audio-visual media, as well as student learning outcomes when learning to use audio-visual media. The results of the interviews show that with the application of audio-visual learning media, students are increasingly interested in participating in learning English, as well as providing better learning outcomes than before. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the Audio-Visual learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Languages assesment is the process of determining an individual's degree of language ability by use of standardized tests and observations. It is a crucial component of English teaching and learning since it enables teachers and students to receive insightful feedback while also tracking the student's development over time. There are various kinds of language assessment which can be assist educators in adapting their instructional approaches to meet the needs of learners effectively. The objective of this research is to an overview language assessment and to find kinds of assessment. The method of this research used library research. Object of this research are books, journal and article. Based on the research data, language assessment is an essential component of both teaching and learning English, and kinds of language assessment consist of (1)informal and formal assessment, (2)formative and summative assessment, (3)perfomanace-based assessment, (4)achievement assessment, (5)diagnostic assessment, (6)placement assessment, (7)profiency assessment, and (8)aptitude assessment.

Abstract

The forest is a large area of ​​land overgrown with trees. Forests are useful in maintaining the balance of the environment for humans. Forests are categorized based on the types of trees present in the forest. There is a teak forest because the majority of trees in the forest are teak. Trees in the forest have many functions including holding back the rate of soil erosion, absorbing carbon dioxide, adding soil nutrients, being able to reduce wind speed and so on. , but it also helps to get a deeper explanation. Forest damage due to illegal logging occurred in East Welai Village, forest damage occurred in forest areas which were mostly planted with teak trees. This also happened in the forest area of ​​the Nirwala Stone Mountain Slopes. The perpetrators of the logging are none other than the local people who live around the forest. In early 2000 the condition of Mount Batu Nirwala was bare without any trees. Natural disasters such as earthquakes began to hit the area around the forest. Drought also occurs even in the rainy season. The water discharge at the springs has decreased. This condition encourages the emergence of awareness of the people who live under the slopes of the mountain to carry out a conservation movement to restore the function of the Nirwala Batu Mountain forest which has been a buffer for the ecosystem for the area beneath it. deforested so that it can restore the function of forest ecosystems such as storing carbon as a source of groundwater reserves, reducing the amount of carbon dioxide, rebuilding wildlife habitat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of the owner of The Intan Gallery Kebaya Boutique and Fashion House, Nelly Memosa, towards the Competence of Industrial Practice Students. This research method is a qualitative method with a case study approach model. In this study, data collection techniques used interview, observation and documentation methods. Interviews were conducted in-depth with the owner of Intan Gallery Kebaya Boutique, namely Mr Zam Warir and The Owner of Fashion House Nelly Memosa, namely Mrs Gusri Nelly. Observations were made on student activities during pre-employment. In addition, documentation is carried out to photograph student activities and document student activity reports and assessment results from the industry. Data analysis used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this study is that the perception of the owner of Intan Gallery Kebaya Boutique, and Fashion House Nelly Memosa, towards the competence possessed by pre-employment students is good. This can be seen from the skills possessed by pre-employment students, which include designing skills, making patterns, cutting materials, sewing, and finishing. In addition, the skills possessed by pre-employment students are also by the Intan Gallery Kebaya Boutique and Nelly Memosa Fashion House, so implementing pre-employment is beneficial for the business world. The pre-employment program's performance benefits The Diamond Boutique of Galeri Kebaya and Fashion House Nelly Memosa. It is beneficial for production activities in the business world.

Abstract

The teacher's challenge in implementing character education in elementary schools is increasingly complex. Planting character requires the right way so that it can be internalized in students so that it can become a habit. This study aims to analyze the value of the characters in the film "Battle of Surabaya" as a medium for learning PPKn grade 6 elementary school. This research uses a qualitative approach in the form of descriptive analysis. The data used consisted of primary data in the form of the film "Battle of Surabaya", teacher's books and books for grade 6 elementary school students. Supported by secondary data in the form of previous research and reference books. The results of this study found that the film "Battle of Surabaya" can be used as a media for learning PPKn for grade 6 elementary school. Character education reflected in the film scenes represents religious character, responsibility, honesty, social care, love for the motherland, hard work, tolerance, friendship or communicativeness, all of which are shown in the film "Battle of Surabaya". So that the film "Battle of Surabaya" is very feasible and suitable to be used as an innovative learning media for PPKn grade 6 elementary schools through joint movie learning activities.

Abstract

Children have different morals and personalities depending on their upbringing. This can affect student learning outcomes, researchers suspect that low and high learning outcomes there is a tendency towards the social class of students' parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the social class of students' parents and the learning outcomes of class VI students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi. This study uses a quantitative approach to personal correlation to determine the relationship between the two variables by distributing in-depth questionnaires to parents of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi, totaling 60 respondents. Based on the results of the statistical test of the research hypothesis using pearson correlation, the Alpha Sig value was obtained. 0.000 <0.05, which is equal to 0.000 <0.05 or with the test results using rcount > rtable of 0.486 > 0.254 so that H0 is rejected and Ha fails to reject. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the social class relationship of parents and the learning outcomes of class VI students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi with a correlation magnitude of 23%. So these results indicate that parents' income has a relationship with student learning outcomes, the higher the social class of parents will have an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the feasibility of content and language that pays attention to and evaluates based on the regulations of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the accuracy and appropriateness of the eligibility of the content and language in this thematic book published by Erlangga based on the eligibility criteria of the BSNP regulations. This research method uses a qualitative approach of literature study research. Data collection technique is done by documentation. The results showed that the eligibility of the content was feasible to use, the components of the suitability of the material with Core Competencies (KI) and Basic Competencies (KD) got a percentage of 71.87, the suitability of the material with the curriculum was 68.75%, the material accuracy component was 75%, and the learning support component of 75%. So the overall eligibility of the content in the Integrated Thematic Textbook for class 1 SD/MI curriculum 2013 published by Erlangga gets a percentage of 73.26%. The feasibility of the language is very feasible to use, the component of language use that is in accordance with the level of development of students gets a percentage of 100% with a very appropriate category, the use of communicative language is 91.67% with a very feasible category, the components of coherence and coherence are 100% with very decent category. So the overall language eligibility in the Integrated Thematic Textbook for class 1 SD/MI curriculum 2013 published by Erlangga gets a percentage of 96.42% in the very decent category.

Abstract

In problematic adolescents who are controlled by aggressive and antagonistic urges, the sensitivity to the effects of deviant sexual behavior will generally be higher. Adolescents of this type will channel their curiosity about sex through reading "stencil publications" among their teenage friends, watching blue films, and conducting sexual experiments by masturbating with teenage friends, trying sexual relations with the opposite sex, even with sex workers. attempting homosexual sexual behavior with peers or with transgender women who work as prostitution, committing rape with friends against victims they meet on the street. The adolescent's behavior is a negative sexual attitude characterized by psycho-sociosexual behavior. This study aims to reveal students' understanding of sexual deviance behavior among adolescents. This type of research is a case study qualitative research, while the approach used is descriptive qualitative, which will be described according to the data obtained in the field. Phenomena that occur to students regarding sexual deviance behavior among adolescents. The subjects in this study were 5 people. The results of the study showed that students understood sexual deviance behavior among adolescents. Based on the results of the study, there were negative impacts from sexual deviant behavior, such as free sex, LGBT, while the positive impact was that the subject understood about sexual deviant behavior and the impact of sexual deviance.

Abstract

Emotional instability over time, attempts to adjust behavior from previous phases of development, feeling as if "lost", and fluctuating emotions often fill the daily life of adolescents. This causes teenagers to always look for quick methods to vent their emotions without considering the consequences of their actions. Aggression is not a behavior dominated by a group of people alone, in each person there is an urge to aggression. Aggression can vary, depending on how a person responds to the stimulus that comes to him. This research only focused to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and aggression in class x adolescents at SMK Negeri 9 Padang even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The type of research used is quantitative method. The study population amounted to 424 people enrolled in the 2022/2023 school year, with a sample of 206 people taken using proportional rondom sampling technique. This research examines the relationship between emotional maturity and aggression. The instrument used in data collection in this study was a questionnaire prepared according to the Likert scale model. Data analysis was carried out using a statistical program on the SPSS 24 computer and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the hypothesis the rcount value is 0.473 while the rtable value is 0.1367 because the value of r count is greater than r table (0,473> 0,1367), there is a significant positive relationship between emotions and aggression in class x adolescents in SMK Negeri 9 Padang.

Abstract

Confidence is something that is priceless. By having self-confidence, one can do anything with the belief that it will work. If it turns out that a person fails, they don't necessarily give up, but they still have enthusiasm, remain realistic, have motivation and then steadily try again. Asking skill is an attempt to prepare oneself to ask to understand something that is not yet understood. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and students' questioning skills in learning at SMK N 9 Padang even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The type of research used is quantitative method. The study population amounted to 440 people enrolled in the 2022/2023 school year, with a sample of 210 people taken using proportional rondom sampling technique. This research examines the relationship between self-confidence and questioning skills. The instrument used in data collection in this research was a questionnaire prepared according to the Likert scale model. Data analysis was carried out using a statistical program on the SPSS 24 computer and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the hypothesis, the rcount value is 0.960 while the rtable value is 0.135 because the value of r count is greater than r table (0.960> 0.135), there is a significant positive relationship between self-confidence and students' questioning skills in learning at SMK N 9 Padang even semester of the 2022/2023 school year.
