Abstract

This is study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Android-Based Learning Module Application Design in the Network System Administration Subject for XI TKJ Students at SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research uses the development method (Research & Development). The research subjects were 43 people. The research model used is the development research model (ADDIE), with the design development steps as follows. (1) Analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluate. The results of the overall effectiveness test assessment of the effectiveness of the Android-Based Learning Module in the subject of Class XI Network System Administration TKJ SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang amounted to 94.62% so that the level of effectiveness can be interpreted very well used. In conclusion, based on the assessment along with expert input as well as the results of field trials the Android-Based Learning Module as a learning medium has been tested for feasibility, superiority, and can be used in the learning process in the Network Systems Administration subject class XI TKJ SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang.

Abstract

The ability to perform daily tasks that require endurance can be considered as physical ability. The physical abilities of each individual certeinly vary from one to another. Good physical ability can be seen from good physical fitness. One of the good physical fitness of students can be seen from the level of VO2 Max owned by students. This study aims to determaine wether there is a relationship between VO2 Max and the Grade Point Average (GPA) of IKOR FIK Unimed students. This research uses survey method. The sample was 76 people who were taken using the formula according Al-Rasyid the number of total IKOR FIK Unimed students was 322 people. The data collection technique uses tests and measurements for VO2 Max data, and is taken from secondary data for student GPA data. Data analysis technique using spearmen rank. Teh results showed that there was no significant relationship between VO2 Max and  the Grade Point Average (GPA) of IKOR FIK Unimed students. This means that the student’s VO2 Max level is not related to the Grade Point Average (GPA).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students who are taught using flashcard learning media for students of SLB Siswa Budhi and to find out whether there are differences in learning outcomes for students who are taught before and after being taught using flashcard learning media based on flora and fauna. The ability to read and recognize children's letters is influenced by the learning media used. This can be seen from the application of flashcard learning media. Data was collected from three students of SLB Siswa Budhi. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. At the data collection stage, the researcher used the listening method and experimental research, the listening method was listening to the children's speech which they obtained before and after the application of flashcard learning media. Therefore this research concerns the application of flora and fauna character-based flashcards to improve the ability to recognize letters of moderately mentally retarded students. This research resulted that the application of flashcard learning media is good and appropriate to be used as a learning medium because it can improve the ability to read and recognize letters of students with moderate mental retardation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the practicality of designing information systems for web-based industrial work practices at SMK Dhuafa Padang using the waterfall research development method with 31 research subjects. The results of the research show that the developed system is very practical to use and has been tested for its feasibility and superiority through field trials. The development steps undertaken include analysis and definition of requirements, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, system integration and testing, as well as operation and maintenance. Practicality evaluation as a whole shows that the system has a very good level of practicality, which is equal to 87.96%. Based on the research results, there are four recommendations for further researchers. First, conducting further studies on the development of information systems for web-based industrial work practices at other SMKs that have the same needs. Second, extend existing features to improve system performance and user experience. Third, integrating this system with other existing information systems at SMK Dhuafa Padang. Fourth, conducting research on the effect of using a web-based industrial work practice information system on learning outcomes and student performance at SMK. It is hoped that the results of this study can become a reference or reference for further researchers in developing an information system for web-based industrial work practices at SMK.

Abstract

Christian religious education is a vital aspect of church teachings, as it shapes an individual's character and spiritual attitude. However, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of religious education requires appropriate standards and types of assessments in the learning process. This study aimed to analyze the implications of standards and types of assessments in Christian religious education in churches. The research employed a document analysis approach, collecting data from various sources such as textbooks, journal articles, and official documents from churches. The analysis identified the standards that should be met in Christian religious education, including theological understanding, prayer practice, participation in worship, moral and ethical understanding, and personal development activities. The research also evaluated appropriate types of assessments to evaluate students' achievements in meeting these standards, such as formative and summative assessments, project assessments, portfolio assessments, and direct observation. Educators should understand the standards that must be met in religious education and choose the appropriate types of assessments to evaluate students' achievements. The study's findings can serve as a reference for churches in developing quality learning programs and ensuring effective implementation of religious education. In conclusion, Christian religious education in churches plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's character and spiritual attitude. The study highlights the importance of using appropriate standards and types of assessments to ensure the quality and effectiveness of learning. Educators and churches should work together to provide adequate support and resources to facilitate effective learning implementation.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the analysis of students' computational thinking skills on spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. This type of research is descriptive with the use of qualitative methods. This study used a population of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Tangerang. The sample used was 36 students in class VII-G. Data collection was carried out using practicum tests in the computer lab according to the lesson schedule, by assigning the creation of population information tables in Microsoft Excel. The assignment contains all indicators of computational thinking agility including; abstraction, decomposition, algorithm, and data recognition. The ability to think computationally produces student output with a high category of 31%, a moderate category of 50%, and a low category of 19%. Through the results of observations, it can be concluded that students who are in the high category have exceeded all standardized computational capacity indicators. While students in the moderate category show that all indicators of computational thinking capacity have been achieved. Meanwhile, most students who are in the low category have not achieved all the indicators in computational thinking processes.

Abstract

This research discusses the relationship between parenting style and learning achievement of fifth grade at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi. Based on observations, some grade V at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi have low academic achievement. This is indicated by the presence of students who are still late for school and when a teacher gives homework (PR) there are some students who do not work on it and during daily tests and semester tests some students get score below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), so that a re-examination must be carried out to achieve the KKM score. The purpose of this research was to obtain data about the relationship between parenting parents and the learning achievement of fifth grade at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi. The research method used is a quantitative correlation approach with observation techniques and distributing questionnaires to fifth grade at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi, academic year 2022/2023, totaling 45 respondents. The results showed that the value of Alpha Sig. 0.000 <0.05, which is equal to 0.011 <0.05 or with the test results using rcount > rtable, which is equal to 0.375 > 0.301 so that Ha failed to reject and H0 was rejected. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between parenting style and learning achievement of fifth grade at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa 51 Bekasi with a correlation of 14.1%. The permissive type of parenting is the parenting style most widely applied by parents of fifth grade students compared to democratic and authoritarian parenting styles.

Abstract

This study aims to test the application of Problem-Based Learning in order to improve the learning outcomes of class XI students in economics lessons. This research is focused on international trade material that is applied to students in class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto City for the 2022/2023 academic year, even the semester. This research method is a classroom action research which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection and is carried out in two cycles with qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Qualitative data were obtained from observations or observations of learning processes and learning activities, while quantitative data were obtained from students' posttest results. The results showed that there was an increase in learning activities by researchers and the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA 5 students of SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto City on international trade material from cycle I obtained 96.42% to 98.80 in cycle II. It can be concluded that learning by applying Problem-Based Learning is able to improve student learning outcomes obtained by a completeness percentage of 78.78% in cycle I with complete criteria and in cycle II obtained a completeness percentage of 90.90% with very complete criteria, this indicates there is an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle.

Abstract

The Integrated Science Props Energy Wheel is used as a tool to help students understand the conversion of motion energy into electrical energy and gain knowledge about the processes of catabolism and anabolism in cellular metabolism within the human body. Additionally, this tool presents a visually engaging, challenging, and enjoyable representation of the differences between molecules and compounds, aiming to attract students to study Natural Sciences. The research objective is to determine the design and working principles of the integrated energy wheel teaching aid. The research method employed is experimental method with a descriptive approach., involving the collection of data through detailed narratives and direct observation of the object under study. The study results in the creation of the integrated science props Energy Wheel, which has dimensions of 25 cm in length, 25 cm in width, and 20 cm in height. In this Energy Wheel, the conversion of motion energy into electricity is indicated by the illumination of lights mounted on the props when the wheel is turned. The illuminated lights symbolize the bond formation between simple molecules to form complex molecules, representing an anabolism reaction. When the wheel stops turning, the lights turn off, signifying the return of complex molecules to simple molecules and the occurrence of a catabolism reaction.

Abstract

The number of students who do not master physics learning, especially in the material and its changes. In this case, there are various abstract concepts which result in students having difficulties and confusion in learning and understanding concepts. The purpose of this research is to analyze the mastery of the concept of material physics and its changes through solving isomorphic questions in class VII students of MTs Zainul Bahar. This research is included in the type of descriptive research in which by analyzing students' mastery of concepts related to the material and its changes. As many as 25 students in class VII Mts Zainul Bahar, the method used is to give isomorphic questions as many as 10 multiple choice type questions. The results that have been obtained show that students' mastery of physics concepts related to material and its changes through isomorphic questions is very good with a percentage of 81%, while students who lack mastery of material concepts and their changes are as much as 19%. So that by going through isomorphic questions it is proven that students can increase their understanding and mastery of the material and its changes, and are motivated to improve student learning outcomes.
