Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has encouraged global society in the era of digitalization, including in rural areas such as Kampung Tahu Binjai. However, these challenges in the form of limited access to technology, low digital literacy, and resistance to change are the main obstacles in this transformation process. This research aims to identify the problems faced by the people of Kampung Tahu Binjai in moving towards digitalization, recommend strategic approaches to accelerate adaptation, and spread the impact on social, economic and cultural aspects. The approach used includes participatory methods by conducting field observations, in-depth interviews, and digital literacy training based on local needs. The proposed solutions include providing technological infrastructure, integrated training programs, and strengthening collaboration with the private sector and government. The research results show that the implementation of digital initiatives such as e-commerce for marketing local tofu products and digital application-based education increases the economic welfare of the community by up to 35%. In addition, better digital literacy accelerates society's adaptation to new technologies, increases production efficiency and expands market access. In conclusion, digitalization has a significant impact in empowering the people of Kampung Tahu Binjai, as long as it is supported by an inclusive and sustainable strategy.

Abstract

Penguasaan bahasa asing tidak hanya mencakup kemampuan linguistik, tetapi juga pemahaman terhadap budaya dan tradisi masyarakat tersebut. Dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Jepang, mengenal khazanah budaya Jepang dapat meningkatkan minat serta daya tarik siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa tersebut. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah melalui pelatihan origami, yang tidak hanya memperkenalkan seni lipat kertas khas Jepang, tetapi juga menumbuhkan keterampilan bekerja dalam tim (team working skill). Keterampilan ini merupakan soft skill yang penting bagi pembelajar bahasa Jepang, terutama dalam memahami budaya kerja khas Jepang yang menekankan pada proses kerja sama tim. Penelitian ini merujuk dalam analisis efektivitas pelatihan origami dalam meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa dan budaya Jepang sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan bekerja dalam tim pada siswa MAN 3 Kediri.

Abstract

The increasing demands of today's workforce recipients encourage efforts to enhance university student readiness in transitioning to the work atmosphere. To support these needs, the community service team held community service through career guidance activities for university students of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. The method of implementing the activity employed counseling. The results of this activity provide benefits for university students, including obtaining new knowledge and raising insight concerning the work atmosphere, as well as strengthening university students' understanding of the sub-field of Human Resource Management. The community service team suggests that this activity can be held in the future by inviting different speakers and covering a wider range of participants.

Abstract

The sustainability of Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating abroad hinges on their ability to adapt to dynamic global markets. Revenue diversification has emerged as a critical strategy for mitigating risks and ensuring business resilience. This study highlights the importance of diversification in response to the unique challenges faced by MSMEs abroad, such as market volatility, regulatory differences, and cultural disparities. It identifies three primary strategies for revenue diversification: product diversification, market expansion, and digital transformation. Product diversification allows MSMEs to develop new offerings tailored to local market needs, while market expansion enables entry into new customer segments and geographic regions. Digital transformation facilitates broader market access through e-commerce platforms and online marketing. The study also emphasizes the vital role of stakeholders, including government bodies, financial institutions, and industry associations, in supporting revenue diversification efforts. Policy support, access to finance, and capacity-building initiatives empower MSMEs to strengthen their market presence and achieve sustainable growth. By implementing these strategies, Indonesian MSMEs can enhance their global competitiveness, reduce dependency on single revenue streams, and create a more resilient business model. This research underscores the need for a holistic approach to diversification, involving strategic planning, innovation, and collaboration with key stakeholders. The findings contribute to the discourse on sustainable business practices and offer practical insights for policymakers, business owners, and researchers interested in advancing the global competitiveness of Indonesian MSMEs.

Abstract

Kalongan Village MSMEs have great potential to grow into a higher scale. Several obstacles in the production and marketing aspects are still faced by Kalongan Village MSMEs. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of MSME actors in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs through the SWOT strategy approach. SWOT analysis is useful for supporting the preparation of production and marketing strategies that have an impact on increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. This activity was attended by 20 MSME partners in Kalongan Village. The method used in this activity is a workshop based on learning by practice. This activity can improve the SWOT analysis skills of MSME actors as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores from 65.37 to 87.51. This activity is able to provide an understanding for MSME owners regarding the importance of SWOT strategy and the preparation of SWOT matrix to support the sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

The cooling system is one of the essential components in motor vehicles that requires proper maintenance. Disruption in the performance of the cooling system can lead to an increase in the engine's operating temperature. Ultimately, an overheated engine can cause reduced performance, damage to engine components, and even systemic component failure in motor vehicles. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance the knowledge of Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers in maintaining the cooling systems of their operational vehicles, which are three-wheeled motorcycles. To achieve this goal, we conducted a workshop at the RW.016 Secretariat, West Cengkareng, West Jakarta. As a result of this activity, PPSU officers in the area have increased their understanding of what needs to be done regularly to ensure the optimal performance of their operational vehicles' cooling systems. An optimally performing cooling system allows the operational vehicles to function properly, ultimately leading to maximum performance by the PPSU officers.

Abstract

Warung makan sayur mateng was a form of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that play a vital role in urban community life, including in Bekasi. Their presence not only serves as a provider of affordable meals ready to eat, but also represents an important part of the local social, economic, and cultural dynamics. As an industrial city with high population mobility, Bekasi requires practical solutions for workers, students, and migrants who do not have time to cook. Warung Bude Abimanyu in Mustika Jaya District, address this need by offering a variety of traditional Indonesian dishes while preserving culinary heritage. Economically, these businesses create job opportunities, empower local suppliers, and strengthen the economic circulation of the surrounding community. Challenges MSMEs in the culinary sector are such as limited capital and management capacity, they can be overcome through training support, digital innovation, and community collaboration. Therefore, Warung Bude Abimanyu was not only a solution to the daily food needs of urban society but also serve as a driving force for sustainable people’s economy in Bekasi.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to increase the turnover of the Sodong water tourism in Ligarmukti Village, Klapanunggal District, Bogor Regency through the transformation of infrastructure and human resources by solving existing problems, including: poorly maintained and inadequate facilities and infrastructure for the Sodong water tourism in Ligarmukti, Bogor, namely: road access, parking facilities, bathroom and toilet facilities, rest areas, rest areas such as benches or gazebos around the tourist location are very limited and inadequate, cleanliness and waste management: lighting in the tourist area, minimal lighting, tour guide facilities and information. Overall, the condition of the facilities and infrastructure at the Sodong Ligarmukti water tourism is currently far from adequate and requires serious attention from the management and local government. The solutions will be resolved by: Carrying out a complete renovation of the Sodong Ligarmukti Bogor water tourism infrastructure in accordance with existing problems, Preparing a place to sell MSMEs (tenants' tents). With comprehensive and well-planned renovations, the water tourism area in Sodong Ligarmukti can become a more attractive and comfortable destination, and support local economic growth through the tourism sector.
