Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of mothers with babies aged 0-2 years, PKK mothers and cadre mothers to better understand the benefits of herbal medicine and how to make and distribute leaflets on ingredients for making herbal medicine and it is hoped that respondents will practice it at home. The community service method involves providing outreach on the benefits of breast milk for babies, the benefits of herbal medicine as well as herbal medicine ingredients and how to make it through lectures, discussions and demonstrations of making herbal medicine. And the counseling was evaluated with pre-tests and post-tests, distribution of leafeads and the practice of making herbal medicine which was carried out at the Siti Rohana Br Ginting clinic as a midwife in Pasar X village, Kutalimbaru sub-district. The results obtained after carrying out community service regarding the benefits of herbal medicine, knowledge about the benefits of herbal medicine increased from 65% who did not know to 87%. And from 81.6% who did not know the ingredients and how to make it and after being given an explanation the ingredients and how to make it increased to 91.1%. Suggestions for village midwives and posyandu cadres to explain the benefits of herbal medicine and ingredients to breastfeeding mothers. Use leafheads so that the culture is not lost.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are non-communicable and chronic diseases. NCDs are caused by genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. NCDs such as cancer and diabetes are among the highest causes of death. The implementation of Posbindu in Gandu District is currently still accompanied by Puskesmas officers. This is the focus of the Implementation Team to conduct training so that Posbindu can run independently. Posbindu training began with pre-test, material presentation, sphygmomanometer and GCU training, ended with post-test. T-Test results from pre- and post-test obtained significance values p = 0.00, sphygmomanometer training (p = 0.00), and GCU training (p = 0.00). This showed the influence of counselling and training on the knowledge and skills of PTM Posbindu member in using sphygmomanometer and GCU devices.

Abstract

This service aims to provide an understanding of cyberbullying which often affects school students. The object of this service is located at MAN 1 Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province with the target being grade 12 students. In fact, they have experienced cyberbullying and admitted to having done it several times. The method for implementing this service consists of 4 (four) stages, namely Stage I analysis of the field situation of the service object, Stage II execution of the service implementation, Stage III discussion and evaluation, and Stage IV publishing the results of the service. The results of the service found that there was not yet sufficient digital literacy to prevent cyberbullying and they did not know that cyberbullying was a type of criminal act. This service contribution is able to increase literacy while providing education and mitigation for students.

Abstract

In developing disaster resilient villages/sub-districts, stakeholders must conduct studies regarding disaster risks in their villages/sub-districts. The aim of this research is to analyze increasing community capacity through the disaster resilient subdistrict program (Keltana). The methods used are observation, discussion, socialization and evaluation methods. It is hoped that the results of the community service that has been carried out will provide a more specific understanding regarding the Disaster Resilient Village program and increase the community's capacity to remain active in protecting the environment, responding to factors that cause disasters or adopting disaster preparedness, disaster mitigation, disaster triage, basic life support. (BHD), evacuation or handling of refugees and disaster victims. This activity specifically explains how to overcome flood disasters by strengthening community capacity so that it runs effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This National Community Partnership Program (PKM) is a collaboration between Warmadewa University, Denpasar and Sam Ratulangi University, Manado with partner fish cultivator group (Pokdakan) "Mina Dewata" in Asahduren Village, Pekutatan District, Jembrana, Bali. This PKM aims to optimize the use of water and land resources while increasing Pokdakan productivity by cultivating gourami fish in tarpaulin ponds with probiotic media. The cultivation container is in the form of a tarpaulin pond with water media treated with probiotics, so that it saves water and the water quality remains healthy for the growth of gourami fish. The program is implemented using the applied study method, including: 1) Cultivating gourami fish in tarpaulin ponds with probiotic media; and 2) Increasing the capacity and competence of Pokdakan. In this initial stage, the group has succeeded in creating 4 cultivation ponds out of the 12 planned ponds.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the aims and objectives of training for pioneers and reporters to the Children's Forum in the Implementation of Law Number 35 of 2014 Article 4 carried out by the Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning, Bintan Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive presentation. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary. Primary data sources were obtained from observations, documentation, and interviews conducted during training activities. This training was attended by Children's Forums from 4 sub-districts with 10 children each, and in this training, children were taught to have the courage to speak to the public, convey children's rights, explain cases of early marriage and bullying in their respective sub-districts and finally create a social mapping of their sub-district area.

Abstract

The Entrepreneurship sector plays an important role in the nation progress. The partner in this Community Service is Maju Tani Group in Pakpak Bharat Regency. The purpose of this activity is to improve the pineapple chips business of the Maju Tani group in order to maintain business continuity. The problem found is the product less recognized by the community. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to conduct digital marketing training and endorsement of pineapple chips on social media. The method of implementing this activity is training and mentoring. In this service activity, the service team helped partners create business social media and make a video endorsement of chips. All of this aims to increase the business capacity of partners. Overall, the service activities went smoothly.The Entrepreneurship sector plays an important role in the nation progress. Abstract

UHO Internal Community Partnership Program (PKMI-UHO) activities carried out by the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Lecturer Team are located in Lepo-Lepo Village, Baruga District, Kendari City. Introducing superior free-range chicken breeding techniques through the cross-breeding method to local chicken breeders in Lepo-Lepo Village, Baruga District. This is intended so that breeders can run their livestock businesses in a more focused and coordinated manner. Introducing how to make free-range chicken feed from existing feed ingredients and introducing artificial insemination techniques for free-range chickens which include techniques for storing chicken semen and deposition of semen into the reproductive tract of female chickens. Introducing how to operate a hatching machine properly and correctly. Introducing farmers to vaccinations to prevent disease and treatment of free-range chickens so that livestock productivity is more optimal.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry which are integrated with the Thematic KKN program from the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Halu Oleo University in 2023 will be carried out in Lawoila Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. Introducing livestock farmer group organizational management techniques to chicken breeders in Lawoila Village, Konda District. This is intended so that breeders can run their livestock businesses in a more focused and coordinated manner. Introducing environmental management and livestock health so that the surrounding area is clean and healthy and introduces treatment techniques and vaccinations for livestock. Introduce a good maintenance and cage management system. Introducing feed to chicken farmers in Lawoila Village so that livestock needs can be met so that livestock productivity is more optimal. Introducing systems, chicken marketing strategies.

Abstract

The development of tourist villages in Bali is a primary focus in efforts to advance the tourism industry. The potential of tourist villages encompasses natural beauty, culture, and traditions as tourism destination potentials. Community service plays a crucial role in the development of tourist villages in Bali. The method of community participation approach in sustainable tourism development was applied to 20 young participants in this program in August 2023.The use of training and skill development methods in the field of digital communication technology is highly relevant in the implementation of this community service. This method enables young people in Bongan Tourist Village to improve the promotion of their village. It helps them identify issues, explore their potential, analyze the resources they have, and determine strategic steps for the long-term management of the Tourist Village and how to promote it effectively.
