Abstract

Quality human resources are becoming crucial in an era of globalization. Quality human resources are produced by quality educational institutions and led by the head of the madrasah, which consistently improves the quality of madrasas. Therefore, to improve the quality of the madrasah, it is necessary to build a culture of quality. Leadership plays an important role in shaping a solid madrasa culture of quality. Based on the above considerations, the study aims to (1) describe the leadership style of the Madrasa in developing a quality madrasa culture, (2) describe the leadership steps of the head of the madrasas in the development of a quality madrasah culture, (3) describe a cultural reality of the quality of Madrasa, (4) explain the efforts of the leader of the Madrasa in removing resistance to the quality culture development. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach using case studies and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations of participants, and documentation. Analysis of research results shows that (1) the main madrasa style in developing a quality culture has five leadership styles: charismatic, democratic, participatory, deliberative, and aggressive. It's adapted to the situation and conditions. (2) Leadership steps in developing a culture of quality madrasa: (a) the head of the Madrasa articulates the vision and mission of impact on improving the quality culture of Madrasa. (b) The head of the Madrasa has the values of leadership that are believed to be translated into the life of the organization of the madrasas. (c) the symbol is a description of the organizational values that rained and preserved and reflect the uniqueness of the Madrasas; (d) the process of development of a quality culture passes through four stages, namely the preparation phase, the acceptance phases, the implementation phases and the commitment phases. (3) The cultural reality of the quality of MAN Lamongan is related to the values of the institution and the leadership of the head of the Madrasa in promoting relations with the staff. (4) The individual teacher's resistance exists in developing a culture of madrasa-quality. The head of the Madrasa's efforts in dealing with the resistance of the people of Madrasa used a preventive and healing approach.

Abstract

Looking at the problematic conditions of a school institution in this millennial era, it can still be found that several teaching staff or teachers have problems and shortcomings in teaching activities in school institutions. This is related to a teaching method or system in the classroom and there are still many school institutions that still have low levels of human resources in teaching at these institutions. Of course, from this incident, a school institution requires supervisors to supervise teachers or develop guides, and motivate them so that the quality of teachers improves much better and makes them professional teaching staff. Thus, this research aims to answer questions regarding the role of supervisors in the formation of teachers' professional competence. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive nature. The data collection used is documentation sourced from literature, articles, books, and other scientific papers that are relevant and related to the theme in the title. The data analysis technique is obtained through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Meanwhile, the research results explain as follows: 1) The role of supervisor is needed by teachers to improve the quality of human resources in teaching in school institutions. 2) A teacher's professional skills as a teacher influence students' teaching and learning activities so that they can master learning in depth. 3) supervisors have a significant role in forming teachers' professional competence in teaching in a school institution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze policies for the development of Islamic religious education in schools and public universities (PTU). Islamic religious education plays an important role in shaping student character, strengthening religious values, and providing a better understanding of the Islamic religion. However, there are challenges faced in developing Islamic religious education, such as lack of resources, inadequate curriculum, lack of qualified teachers, or lack of student interest in Islamic religious subjects. The research methods used in this study involve literature reviews, policy analysis, and primary data collection through interviews or surveys. Data is collected from various sources, including government policies, curriculum guidelines, related research reports, and opinions of relevant stakeholders. The results of this study indicate that Islamic religious education needs to be strengthened in schools and Public Universities through policies that focus on the inclusion of Islamic religious subjects in the curriculum, development of relevant curricula, provision of adequate resources, good teacher training, supervision and rigorous evaluation, collaboration with religious institutions, and better interfaith understanding. This study provides recommendations for improving the development of Islamic religious education, including expanding educational resources, increasing teacher training, revising the curriculum, developing interesting and interactive teaching methods, increasing student participation in religious activities, and using technology in Islamic religious education. In conclusion, the development of Islamic religious education in schools and public universities requires policies that focus on quality teaching, adequate resources, collaboration with religious institutions, and interfaith understanding. Implementation of this policy will play an important role in shaping student character, strengthening religious values, and providing a better understanding of the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Learning management is the process of managing planning, organizing, controlling (directing), and evaluating activities related to the learning process of students by involving various factors in it, in order to achieve educational goals and seek to improve the quality of education. This study aims to determine the application of learning management to improve the quality of education in madrasas. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature review approach. The results obtained illustrate the need for a learning management in improving abilities and skills to support the implementation of a quality education process according to the vision, mission and goals. Abstract

The article discusses the challenges and problems experienced by Islamic Higher Education. In order to face these challenges and problems, a strategy is needed as a tool to gain competitive advantage. This article aims to clarify the strategy in marketing educational services as a strategy to improve the quality of education in Islamic tertiary institutions. This article uses a type of qualitative research with a type of library research, by collecting literature or materials sourced from books, journals and other related sources. PTI's service marketing strategy consists of 6 strategies in which these six strategies are not a sequence that reflects the stages of the steps, but a single strategy that can be carried out simultaneously or separately, including: SWOT analysis, identification of consumers and their needs, utilization of marketing channels and models, optimizing PTI's marketing agency, building public trust, and marketing mix. Meanwhile, measuring the level of customer satisfaction with the services offered by educational institutions can be carried out in the following ways: Complaint and suggestion system, Customer satisfaction surveys, Ghost shopping, Lost customer analysis customer analysis who switch.

Abstract

Recently, marketing management in the world of education is very much needed in line with the competition between educational institutions that is getting stronger because it is driven from various aspects, both the needs of society to the increasingly unlimited digital world. Marketing Management is needed for all educational institutions, both new and old institutions in building and maintaining their positive and attractive image.  This research aims to understand and describe what are the objectives of marketing in the education zone, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah QITA, then what are the elements of the marketing mix strategy that affect the marketing in MI QITA and the marketing management process itself. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with a case study approach, as well as data collection techniques based on the results of in-depth interviews, observations and documentation of facts in the field. The results of this study are the form of details of the expected objectives of MI QITA's marketing management as a new institution, elements of the marketing mix that affect marketing and marketing management consisting of planning, organizing, implementing and documentation.

Abstract

The government of Kabupaten Malang, in its commitment to help unravel the problems of education financing at the local level, issued the BOSDA policy through Perbup No. 19/2020. This research aims to analyze BOSDA policies starting from planning, implementation, and evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research through interviews with parties involved in the preparation process and implementing the BOSDA policy, in this case, the Legal Section of the Regional Secretariat, BAPPEDA, the Pendma Section of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and interviews with L.P Ma'arif and DPRD as representatives of policy constituents. Other data sources were obtained through observation and document studies related to BOSDA. The results showed that in the realm of policy formulation, BOSDA has been prepared by the applicable mechanism. Furthermore, the allocation of BOSDA funds to Madrasahs in 2021 and 2022 was constrained by the lack of regional income due to post-pandemic budget refocusing. Furthermore, in 2023 the BOSDA policy was changed to the Scholarship Program without going through a legal review process and analysis of the resulting output.  In the realm of implementing the BOSDA policy in Madrasahs, the Pendma Section of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang Regency as the BOSDA implementer has been carried out well by its authority and resources. With the change of BOSDA policy to scholarships, the authority of Pendma Kemenag was replaced by Bakesbangpol. The results of the administrative evaluation show that the change of BOSDA into a scholarship program leaves no authority to monitor the accuracy of the use of scholarship funds that have been given. Then the results of the judicial evaluation, the BOSDA policy that turned into a scholarship was not preceded by an in-depth study in the legal realm and the impact of policy success through the resulting output. Furthermore, the results of the political evaluation showed a lack of positive acceptance from the constituents of the policy recipients, seen from the perceived impact of the policy and the efforts of Madrasah residents in continuing to demand that the BOSDA policy be carried out by the initial mechanism.

Abstract

Organizational behavior is a field of study that examines habits, behavior, and the impact of individual involvement with organizations that influence processes within organizations such as in organizations or educational institutions. Organizational culture in education is something that is carried out continuously, making it a characteristic of an educational institution. Organizational behavior and culture in education is a unit that forms a structured system and shapes individual behavior patterns in organizations or educational institutions. The objectives of this research are 1) the concept of organizational behavior in education; 2) the concept of organizational culture in education; 3) behavioral and cultural characteristics of educational organizations. The research method used is a library study that focuses on literature, books, notes and published scientific information. The results of this research are 1) organizational behavior is a study that discusses individuals to obtain information in making decisions to make rules that can be used according to the conditions and situations of the educational environment; 2) organizational culture is the basic assumptions developed within an organization, to serve as a guide for the attitudes and behavior of all its members; 3) the characteristics contained in organizational behavior and culture in education are habits that are carried out repeatedly or continuously in learning to produce a certain behavior and culture that has characteristics that are different from other aspects.

Abstract

The background of this research is the Circular of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding online learning. This online learning is intended as an effort to prevent the spread of Corona Virus Disease. As we all know, with the Corona virus pandemic, not a few parties have taken policies to limit all operational activities to take part in minimizing the spread of the corona virus. This is also what the Ministry of Education and Culture has done in an effort to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. But apart from all that, the important thing to examine from the existence of this policy is related to its implementation. The policy of implementing online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic can be said to be the right policy if in its implementation it can strive to achieve learning effectiveness. Therefore, in this article, we will discuss how to implement online learning, SWOT analysis related to its implementation, and strategies that can be taken through the results of the SWOT analysis.

Abstract

penelitian ini membahas tentang : 1. apa yang direncanakan dalam pembelajaran dengan  media gambar dengan di Madrasah Aliyah Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah ASSALAM 2. Bagaimana pengorganisasian pemebelajaran fiqih dengan media gambar dengan di Madrasah Aliyah Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah ASSALAM 3. Bagaimana pegimplementasian pembelajaran fiqih media gambar dengan di Madrasah Aliyah Kulliyatul Mu'allimin Al-Islamiyah ASSALAM. Fokus penelitian ini terletak pada proses dan hasil penggunaan media pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam kajian fiqih pada materi qurban. Hal ini disebabkan karena pose-pose pembelajaran fiqh yang diterapkan di madrasah ASSALAM belum optimal karena monoton dan kurangnya media yang dapat mendukung pemahaman siswa. Peneliti dalam prosesnya menitikberatkan pada tahapan penerapan media gambar pada pemahaman siswa tentang materi pengorbanan, korelasi media gambar terhadap pemahaman siswa dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan penggunaan media gambar. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. pendekatan desain studi kasus dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena yang terjadi secara objektif di lapangan. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.
