Abstract

The use of modern knowledge, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), in Islamic education is becoming increasingly common. However, implementing AI requires adaptation, as students and teachers need to acquire more advanced skills to utilize this technology effectively. It is essential to understand the ethics and consequences of AI use in Islamic education to ensure its application is thoughtful and appropriate, with full awareness of potential risks. AI can also support discovery-based learning and create a learning environment that encourages exploration and innovation. AI’s ability to analyze data and learn from experience is valuable for enhancing accuracy and personalization in education. Despite AI's numerous positive potentials, there are aspects that require careful consideration and further study. Therefore, this research aims to explore AI usage in Islamic education through a literature review that combines qualitative methods and library research. This literature review uses secondary data from various relevant sources on the research topic. While AI offers significant potential benefits in Islamic education, there is also a risk of misuse, necessitating comprehensive analysis and holistic solutions.

Abstract

Monotonous traditional PAI learning is difficult to attract millennial students. SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin adopts digital media such as PPT, video and the internet to create interactive and collaborative learning. This approach, in line with constructivism theory, improves student understanding and the relevance of learning in the digital era. From this background, the purpose of this study is to describe the utilization of PowerPoint (PPT), digital media, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin. This journal is written based on field research that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation. The data processing technique has four stages, namely data collection, editing, data classification, and data interpretation. While the data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman Model there are three series of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that the implementation of PAI learning in SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin utilizes digital technology such as Canva, Google Classroom, Google Form, AI ChatGPT, and mobile phones to support interactive and creative learning. The use of these technologies increases efficiency, engagement, and student motivation, despite facing challenges such as technology misuse and device limitations. With proper planning and management, this digital-based learning is expected to improve the quality of PAI education according to the vision of Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Cultural diversity in organizations is not only related to demographic diversity, but also includes differences in ways of thinking, experiences, and the values ​​held by individuals. This research uses library-based qualitative research, the research used in writing this article is also sometimes referred to as library research. This literature review refers to the use of media to collect library materials such as books, journals and articles that will help solve research problems. The organizational culture at LPP ENTER has succeeded in creating an inclusive and productive learning environment. By prioritizing the values ​​of inclusion, transformational leadership, teamwork, recognition of achievements, and strong relationships with the community.

Abstract

This article explores the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in integrating technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The study employs a library research method, involving data collection from books and scientific articles related to the topic. The focus of the research is on the development of technology in PAI education, which has two main characteristics: the transfer of knowledge and the transfer of values. Although conventional teaching methods are still dominant, there is an urgent need to utilize modern media such as visual, audio, and the internet to make learning more engaging and effective. The integration of technology requires strategic planning, teacher skill development, and adequate infrastructure. The benefits include ease of access, improved learning quality, and support for independent learning. However, challenges such as low digital literacy and inadequate infrastructure must be addressed. The use of technology can increase student interest and creativity but may also lead to dependency and reduce social interaction. In conclusion, wise integration of technology in line with Islamic values can enrich Islamic religious education

Abstract

Handling disinformation in the digital era is a significant challenge for many countries, including Indonesia and countries in the ASEAN region. The spread of disinformation through social media can threaten social, political, and economic stability. This study aims to analyze social media regulation in the context of handling disinformation in Indonesia and compare it with communication policies in several other ASEAN countries. With a qualitative approach, this study collects data from primary sources such as policy documents and interviews with various stakeholders. The findings show that while there are similarities in regulatory efforts, such as the implementation of anti-hoax laws and strengthening the role of supervisory agencies, there are striking differences in the implementation and effectiveness of policies in each country. In Indonesia, the main challenge lies in law enforcement and the level of digital literacy of the community. Meanwhile, countries like Singapore are implementing a stricter approach with strict enforcement and severe sanctions for violators. This study recommends the need for more intensive regional collaboration in tackling disinformation and increasing digital literacy as key steps in combating the spread of misinformation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in broadcasting has had a significant impact on the media sector and broadcasting regulations in Indonesia. In the context of accelerating media convergence, the broadcasting industry is faced with the challenge of adapting to technological advancements, new policies, and global dynamics. This research aims to explore the challenges faced in broadcasting regulation in Indonesia, especially in the era of media convergence, with an emphasis on digitalization that changes the way information is conveyed to the public. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach, which includes literature studies and in-depth interviews with policymakers and media practitioners in the country. The findings of this study show that although digitalization provides significant opportunities for the growth of the broadcasting industry, various regulatory challenges need to be overcome, such as content control, frequency distribution, and protection of freedom of expression and information access rights for the public. In addition, this study reveals that media convergence requires more adaptive and inclusive regulatory adjustments, involving various stakeholders in formulating policies that support innovation, without ignoring the social and cultural values that exist in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to deconstruct the theory of Uses and Gratifications in the context of the post-truth era, with an emphasis on a critical analysis of the misperception among social media users in meeting the needs of information. The post-truth era is characterized by the dominance of emotions and personal views that trump objective facts, which in turn affects the way individuals consume and process information. The conventional Uses and Gratifications theory views media users as active and rational individuals in choosing media to meet specific needs, such as entertainment, information, or social interaction. However, in the context of post-truth, this paradigm needs to be revisited. The study shows that social media users are often trapped in false consciousness due to social media algorithms and confirmation bias. The algorithm encourages the consumption of content that is in line with the user's personal beliefs, thus reinforcing the view without providing an opportunity for fact-verification. In addition, the phenomenon of echo chambers and filter bubbles further strengthens the isolation of information, which contributes to the formation of distorted reality. The approach used in this study is qualitative with critical analysis of relevant literature and case studies of social media users. The results of the analysis show that the information satisfaction felt by users is often illusory and does not reflect the fulfillment of real information needs. This false awareness creates the illusion of information fulfillment, even though the information consumed tends to be biased and incomplete. The conclusion of this study is that in the post-truth era, the theory of Uses and Gratifications needs to be reconstructed by considering the factors that affect false consciousness and information distortion. It is important for social media users to improve their media literacy and be critical of the sources of information they consume, in order to avoid the trap of false awareness and achieve more accurate and meaningful information fulfillment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the groupthink phenomenon in the context of decision-making by cross-cultural teams in Indonesia. Groupthink refers to the psychological conditions that arise in highly bonded groups, in which the pressure to reach an agreement can hinder the logical assessment of alternatives. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with a focus on case studies in several multicultural organizations in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of relevant documents. The findings of this study show that cultural factors have a significant influence on the decision-making process. Values such as collectivism, hierarchy, and social harmony contribute to the occurrence of the groupthink phenomenon. In addition, cultural diversity within a team can serve as a driver or barrier in overcoming the negative impact caused by groupthink, depending on how those differences are managed in the context of the team. This study recommends several mitigation strategies to improve the quality of decision-making in cross-cultural teams in Indonesia. Among these strategies are raising awareness of the potential of groupthink, strengthening inclusive leadership, and encouraging open communication. By implementing these steps, it is hoped that the team can be more effective in managing group dynamics and produce better decisions.

Abstract

Religious social relations in Indonesia, a country marked by its religious and cultural diversity, create a unique dynamic between majority and minority groups. This study aims to explore the religious social relations between the Muslim majority and non-Muslim minorities in Padolo, Paruga Subdistrict, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara, with a focus on aspects of tolerance, social interaction, and potential conflicts. The research employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of relevant documents. The findings indicate that despite differences in belief, interfaith relations in Padolo tend to be harmonious, with social solidarity acting as a balancing factor, alongside government policies that support interreligious harmony. The conclusion of this study is that social harmony in Padolo can be maintained through respect for differences, tolerance, and cooperation among groups.

Abstract

This research aims to provide freedom for students to explore themes or parts of the project so that students can develop ideas according to their interests. This can hone students' abilities in critical thinking, collaboration and innovation. This research applies a quantitative approach based on literature studies which were previously documented in journals and books to provide data sources for research. The research results show that the application of the project-based learning model (Project Based Learning, PBL) has proven effective in increasing student creativity at various levels of education. This model includes learning processes and end results that involve students actively designing and implementing real projects.
