Abstract

Thesis is a term used in Indonesia to illustrate a scientific paper in the form of a written presentation of undergraduate research results that discusses a problem or phenomenon in a particular field of science using applicable principles. The new policy issued by the Minister of Education to eliminate theses has significant implications in the world of education. Deleting a thesis can be considered a controversial step and has a wide impact, both on students, educational institutions and society in general. So in this journal the researcher aims to find out the perspective of students at the Rakha Amuntai College of Al-Qur'an Sciences (STIQ) regarding the elimination of their thesis as their final assignment. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative research type. According to STIQ student Rakha Amuntai, according to the results of research on the deletion of theses as a final assignment, the government's policy regarding the deletion of theses is because many students think that theses are only burdensome and create unreadable piles in the library.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara majemuk dengan keberagaman suku, agama, ras dan budaya memiliki kemiripan dengan kondisi yang dihadapi Rasulullah SAW saat berdakwah di tanah Arab. Penelusuran melalui sirah nabawiyah terkait konsep pendidikan multikultural yang telah beliau terapkan merupakan hal yang urgen jika melihat kondisi saat ini dimana perlu adanya eksplorasi lebih dalam tentang konsep ideal pendidikan Islam multikultural bagi dunia pendidikan Indonesia demi mecegah perpecahan dan menjaga kesatuan dalam kemajemukan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari kitab sirah nabawiyah karya Syeikh Shafiyurrahman Al-Mubarakfuri, kemudian menganilis dan menyimpulkannya. Penelitian ini menemukan 3 konsep pendidikan Islam multikultural ala Rasulullah SAW., yaitu: (1) konsep toleransi beragama, yang meliputi: toleransi hidup berdampingan, saling menyayangi, menciptakan aturan yang tidak memihak, mencintai dan menghormati di dalam perbedaan; (2) konsep kesamaan, yang meliputi: persamaan derajat, hak asasi, solidaritas; (3) konsep keadilan, yang meliputi: melaksanakan hak dan kewajiban, merawat keseimbangan antara hak dan kewajiban, membela keadilan. Konsep ini dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengimplementasian pendidikan Islam multikultural.

Abstract

Learning Al-Qur'an and Hadith in Paser State Aliyah Madrasah (MAN) often faces challenges related to low student motivation and participation. The conventional methods used today are not able to optimally attract students' interest. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of gamification in learning Al-Qur'an and Hadith at MAN Paser, with a focus on increasing student motivation and participation. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, and observation. Qualitative analysis was used to understand students' experiences and perceptions as well as factors that support and hinder the implementation of gamification. The results showed that the implementation of gamification in learning Al-Qur'an and Hadith significantly increased students' motivation and participation. Gamification elements such as points, badges, leaderboards and daily challenges proved effective in creating a more engaging and interactive learning environment. Factors supporting the implementation of gamification include technological support, teacher engagement, and game design that is relevant to the learning material. However, there are also some barriers such as limited access to technology for some students and training needs for teachers. This study concludes that gamification can be an effective strategy to increase students' motivation and participation in learning Al-Qur'an and Hadith at MAN Paser. Practical recommendations for further development include improving technology access, teacher training, and customizing gamification design according to the local context. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the quality of Qur'an and Hadith learning in madrasah as well as being a reference for policy makers in integrating technological innovations in education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, dengan presentase ketuntasan 43% dari jumlah siswa. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata setelah digunakannya metode pembelajaran Small Group Discussion. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh yaitu penggunaan metode Small Group Discussion dalam pelajaran dimulai dengan pelaksanaan yang terdiri dari penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran, menerangkan kepada siswa mengenai metode pembelajaran Small Group Discussion, membentuk kelompok secara acak, memulai kegiatan diskusi dengan waktu yang ditetapkan, mengintruksikan kepada setiap kelompok untuk menyajikan hasil diskusinya, menyimpulkan hasil pembelajaran, dan terakhir guru melakukan penilaian; kemudian Penggunaan metode pembelajaran Small Group Discussion untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa memperoleh peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya, persentasi ketuntasan pada siklus I yaitu 62%, dan siklus II menjadi 90,4%. Dari hasil penelitian tindakan yang dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode Small Group Discussion dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa .

Abstract

Praktik micro teaching menjadi wadah dalam berlatih dan mengembangkan keterampilan mengajar bagi mahasiswa calon guru. Mahasiswa dituntut untuk menguasai delapan keterampilan mengajar mulai dari membuka hingga menutup pembelajaran. Namun pada praktiknya, mahasiswa calon guru masih belum siap untuk mengajar pada pembelajaran nyata (real teaching). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan delapan keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa pada praktik micro teaching. Penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, check list, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis mengikuti langkah-langkah analisis Cresswell. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa delapan keterampilan mengajar guru telah dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa pada praktik micro teaching. Namun, belum melaksanakan seluruh komponen di setiap keterampilan tersebut, dan pelaksanaannya pun belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kriteria yang ada.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims which functions as a guide for all humans, so when reading the Al-Qur'an you must try to be able to read it well. In this case, it can be studied in learning to read the Al-Qur'an, in learning to read the Al-Qur'an there are also various methods. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the wafa method in learning to read the Al-Qur'an. The researcher chose MTs Darussalam Boarding School Samarinda as the research location because this madrasah uses the wafa method in learning the Al-Qur'an, because this method does not yet exist in other madrasas or schools in Samarinda. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. With data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The primary sources for this research are the Head of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Qur'an Coordinator and Students. The secondary data source used is a general description of MTs Darussalam Boarding School Samarinda. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses triangulation. The research results show that the implementation of the wafa method in learning to read the Al-Qur'an at MTs Darussalam Boarding School Samarinda consists of three stages: planning, implementation and evaluation. The planning stage includes tasnif, level grouping, level exam, and tahfidz grouping. The implementation process uses the TTG guidebook or Wafa recitation book, by applying the 5P concept: opening, experience, teaching, assessment, and closing. The evaluation stage involves meetings, assessments, testing of students before the level exam by the Qur'an coordinator, and Wafa method exam questions. Supporting factors include madrasa support by providing Wafa books, creative young ustadz and ustadzah, as well as adequate room facilities. Inhibiting factors include limited student knowledge, lack of student seriousness, teacher busyness, lack of teacher reading fluency, lack of teacher certification, lack of teaching aids, inactivity in playing MP3s, poor implementation of SOPs, lack of tone mastery, and lack of vocals.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Bina Cinta Tuhan (BCT) Program at YPPSB Sangatta Utara Junior High School is used to develop student character. With this type of field research, which uses qualitative methodology, data was collected through documentation, interviews, and observations. There are three main conclusions that emerge from this research. Firstly, the BCT Program is implemented at YPPSB Junior High School through various religious activities incorporated into the curriculum, including collective prayers, spiritual values education, and faith festivals. Secondly, the curriculum effectively promotes the development of values such as honesty, responsibility, integrity and compassion. Third, the effects of this program are evident in the development of students' personalities that are more focused, empathetic, tolerant, devoted, and disciplined.

Abstract

Integrasi pendidikan berbasis agama ke dalam sistem pendidikan nasional yang sekuler dan berkualitas tinggi di Finlandia menunjukkan integrasi yang khas dari pendidikan Islam di negara ini. Studi ini memeriksa beberapa aspek pendidikan Islam di Finlandia, termasuk kerangka organisasi sekolah Islam, yang terdiri dari lembaga swasta dan semi-privasi, serta kurikulum yang harmonis yang menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dengan referensi ke pendidikan Finlandia. Sekolah-sekolah Islam di Finlandia telah berhasil menangani masalah yang berkaitan dengan alokasi sumber daya, integrasi sosial, dan modifikasi kurikulum, sambil memastikan bahwa pendidikan yang mereka berikan tidak hanya memenuhi persyaratan akademik tetapi juga mempertahankan identitas keagamaan siswa. Jalan-jalan yang menjanjikan untuk memajukan pendidikan Islam termasuk mendorong kolaborasi antar agama untuk meningkatkan diskursus sosial dan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendorong inovasi pendidikan. Studi ini menekankan peran pendidikan Islam di Finlandia dalam mempromosikan pertumbuhan siswa Muslim dan mendorong pemahaman dan toleransi lintas budaya. Ini memberikan pengetahuan berharga kepada bangsa-bangsa lain tentang bagaimana menangani pendidikan agama dalam budaya yang heterogen.

Abstract

Research on pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) demonstrates the advantages of pesantren as a subculture that represents Sufi values. Among the Sufi values in pesantren are repentance (taubat), piety (wara'), asceticism (zuhud), poverty (faqr), patience (sabar), trust in God (tawakkal), love (mahabbah), knowledge (makrifah), and contentment (ridha). These values are socially constructed through various institutionalized practices. Therefore, the author aims to explore how these Sufi values are institutionalized in the pesantren of Banjarbaru. The author employs a social constructionist approach as the research method, with a descriptive qualitative research design. Data are collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with data reduction, data display, and data verification techniques for data analysis. The findings of the study are as follows: 1) The institutionalization of Sufi values includes internalization, externalization, and objectivation simultaneously. In the internalization process, there is typification, habitualization, socialization, and indoctrination in the pesantren regarding Sufi values, both as values and as practices of the Sufi path (tarekat), through the pesantren curriculum based on the books Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din, Siraj al-Thalibin, and Kifayah al-Atqiya’, as well as through spiritual practices such as mujahadah, collective dhikr, fasting, bai'at (pledge of allegiance), and khalwat (spiritual retreat). In the externalization process, the Sufi values are expressed as ideologies and positive traditions with various adaptations. Objectivation shows the authority of the mursyid (spiritual guide), consistency in the implementation of sharia, rules, and suluk (spiritual conduct). 2) The Sufi values institutionalized in the pesantren include repentance (taubat) as abandoning sins and mistakes; piety (wara') as discipline and selectivity; asceticism (zuhud) as humility and simplicity; poverty (faqr) as independence and responsibility; patience (sabar) as perseverance and personal integrity; trust in God (tawakkal), love (mahabbah), knowledge (makrifah), and contentment (ridha) as obedience and gratitude. 3) The institutionalization of Sufi values in the pesantren contributes significantly to the strengthening of character and moral development.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research highlights issues or challenges that have led to outcomes that are not as expected. Among the obstacles identified is the lack of students’ understanding in reading the Qur’an, both in terms of makhrajul huruf (pronunciation of letters) and the application of tajwid (rules of Qur’anic recitation). Therefore, this research aims to examine the role of Qur’an Hadith teachers in improving students’ ability to read the Qur’an at SMA Muhammadiyah. This study is a field research employing a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah Tanah Grogot. The subjects of the study are Qur’an Hadith teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah, while the object of the research is the role of these teachers in enhancing the students' Qur’anic reading skills. The data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the role of Qur’an Hadith teachers in improving students' ability to read the Qur’an at SMA Muhammadiyah has been very effective. The teachers fulfill their roles as instructors, mentors, evaluators, and culminators, achieving significant success in enhancing the Qur’anic reading abilities of the students at SMA Muhammadiyah.
