Abstract

This research explores the promotion of religious moderation values ​​in the ex-local area of ​​Kampung Kajang, with a focus on innovative approaches in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The method applied in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The informants in this research were Islamic Religious Education teachers, community leaders, and the millennial generation in the former localization area. The number of informants was 10 people, determined through the purposive sampling technique. This research was carried out in the Ex. Region. Localization of Kajang Village, South Sangatta. The research results show that the values ​​of moderation being promoted include respect for differences, interreligious dialogue, and participation in social activities, which are important for creating harmony amidst diversity. The people of Kampung Kajang show awareness of the importance of tolerance, although challenges in implementation still exist. Innovation in PAI plays a key role, where the integration of moderation values ​​in the curriculum needs to be adapted to the local context. It is hoped that the use of social media as a learning tool can increase the understanding of the younger generation. However, there are problems such as students' difficulties understanding the relevance of these values ​​and a lack of support from teachers. This research emphasizes the need for training for educators and collaboration between the community, educators and religious leaders to create an environment that supports the implementation of religious moderation values ​​through effective educational innovation.

Abstract

Pentingnya kebijakan pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkeadilan dan efektif semakin meningkat dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi, terutama untuk mendukung kompetensi bahasa Inggris yang menjadi bekal utama di era global. Terdapat kesenjangan penelitian mengenai efektivitas implementasi kebijakan pembiayaan program short course TOEFL di lembaga pendidikan tinggi, khususnya terkait aksesibilitas dan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan, efektivitas, serta dampak pembiayaan short course TOEFL di Unit Pembinaan Bahasa (UBINSA) STAI Sangatta Kutai Timur. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pembiayaan mencerminkan prinsip pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkeadilan, dengan pemberian subsidi tanpa diskriminasi latar belakang ekonomi dan pengaturan anggaran tahunan yang mencakup biaya operasional serta honorarium instruktur. Kebijakan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris mahasiswa, yang terlihat dari peningkatan skor TOEFL peserta dan motivasi mereka dalam mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa lebih lanjut. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, infrastruktur, dan kualifikasi instruktur perlu diatasi untuk menjaga keberlanjutan dan efektivitas program secara berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya perbaikan fasilitas dan peningkatan kualitas instruktur sebagai langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas program short course TOEFL di UBINSA, sejalan dengan prinsip manajemen pendidikan yang berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya evaluasi dan perbaikan kebijakan pembiayaan serta manajemen yang lebih efisien untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan peningkatan kualitas program short course TOEFL di UBINSA, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa di era global.

Abstract

This research is a field study aiming to examine the preparation, implementation, and challenges in teaching Quranic reading using the Qiro'ati method at TPQ Al-Jihad Ketapang. The data collection methods employed in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: The preparation for teaching Quranic reading using the Qiro'ati method at TPQ Al-Jihad Ketapang is well-organized, as observed from the teaching preparation carried out by the teachers, such as muraja’ah (review) and ice-breaking activities. The implementation of Quranic reading lessons using the Qiro'ati method at TPQ Al-Jihad Ketapang runs effectively, as shown in the following steps: a. Habit formation. b. Opening activities, which include: 1) greeting, 2) student clapping rhythm (tepuk santri), 3) reciting Surah Al-Fatihah and the prayer before studying, and 4) repetition of readings. c. Core activities consist of: 1) guided reading (baca simak) led by the teacher and 2) student practice in front of the teacher. d. Closing activities involve reciting the khotmil Qur'an prayer, kafaratul majlis prayer, and shalawat busyro. The challenges in teaching Quranic reading using the Qiro'ati method at TPQ Al-Jihad Ketapang can be categorized into internal and external challenges: a. Internal challenges include a lack of understanding of Tajweed rules and students who are not yet familiar with Arabic letters (huruf hijaiyah). b. External challenges include the lack of parental support, limited use of teaching media, and low enthusiasm among students during lessons.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak lessons are due to the learning model used which tends to be teacher-centered with a lecture model, therefore innovative learning models are needed to be an alternative problem solving for low student learning outcomes, one of which is by applying the Index Card Match model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Index Card Match model on the Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes of grade II students of MI NU Sukomalo Lamongan. The type of research method used is quantitative research. The research design used is One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design, in this design there are accurate results by comparing the learning outcomes of the situation before and after being given treatment with the Index Card Match model. Data analysis techniques use differentiation, difficulty and sensitivity of question items. This study uses a paired sample t-test with a significance level of less than 0.05. The results showed a sig value of 0.000 which means less than 0.05 so it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus obtaining information that there is an effect of the Index Card Match model on the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak class II at MI NU Sukomalo Lamongan and the average learning outcomes of students show before using the Index Card Match model the average value is 56.35 and after using the Index Card Match model the average value is 82.3 that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by 25.95. Based on the explanation of the research results as a whole, it can be concluded that there is an influence and improvement in student learning outcomes after being treated with the Index Card Match model on the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak class II at MI NU Sukomalo Lamongan.

Abstract

Article is motivated by the "Al-Jihad Cares" program owned by the Al-Jihad Mosque, Muhammadiyah Branch 4, Banjarma sin. The "Al-Jihad Cares" program is very interesting, because this program has great potential as a solution in helping congregations who are unable to fulfill and improve basic needs in strengthening an independent family. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytic with an Islamic legal philosophy approach. The analysis technique is to describe the research results based on the problems being studied, then analyze them using an Islamic legal philosophy approach, in this case Maqâshid asy-Syarî'ah . Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of character education based on Islamic values in elementary schools, focusing on the strategy of integrating these values in the educational process. This research is based on the importance of character education that is in line with Islamic teachings in forming a generation with noble character. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving the principal, deputy principal for curriculum, teachers, and students as the main informants. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which included data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that Islamic values are integrated into the curriculum, applied through active and participatory learning methods, supported by routine religious activities, and strengthened by the example of teachers and staff. Cooperation with parents also plays an important role in ensuring the consistency of character education at home and school. The results of this research lie in the provision of a model for the implementation of character education based on Islamic values that can be a reference for other schools in an effort to build a generation with strong character and noble character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of character values ​​in the learning process at SD Negeri 2 Jatipunggur and its contribution to the formation of student character. This study is based on the importance of character education as an effort to produce students who are not only academically superior but also have strong morality and integrity. Character education in this school focuses on values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, cooperation, and tolerance, which are integrated into the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and through the role models of teachers and school staff. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques refer to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the integration of character values ​​is carried out through collaborative and participatory learning that encourages students to be active, work together, and support each other. Extracurricular activities such as scouts, sports, and arts also strengthen the formation of student character. In addition, teachers and staff act as role models who provide real examples of behavior that reflect these values. These findings are expected to be a reference for the development of character education programs in other schools with similar contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Office of Religious Affairs (Kantor Urusan Agama or KUA) in East Balikpapan in addressing unregistered marriages (nikah siri). The occurrence of nikah siri is primarily attributed to the lack of public awareness regarding the negative impacts that may arise after such marriages, as well as administrative issues that do not comply with the regulations established by the KUA. Therefore, the KUA consistently strives to conduct public outreach and coordinate with subdistrict and village heads, as well as neighborhood heads (RT) in the local area. Additionally, Islamic religious counselors play a significant role in supporting the KUA by providing education and information to the public regarding KUA programs, particularly the socialization of the potential consequences of nikah siri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of diagnostic data from the Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment (AKMI) in curriculum development in Samarinda City. Amid the challenges of globalization and the need to prepare a high-quality young generation, responsive and adaptive education management has become increasingly crucial. AKMI, as a comprehensive assessment evaluating students' competencies in reading literacy, numeracy, science, and socio-cultural aspects, provides highly valuable data for improving education quality. This research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from AKMI diagnostics conducted between 2021 and 2024 with qualitative data gathered through interviews and observations with stakeholders in Samarinda City. The findings indicate that AKMI data can be used to identify students' strengths and weaknesses across various competencies, which can then serve as the foundation for designing more adaptive and evidence-based curricula. As a recommendation, curriculum development strategies in Samarinda City should focus on improving numeracy and science literacy, while strengthening the already solid achievements in reading and socio-cultural literacy. This study is expected to provide guidance for developing curricula that are more responsive to students' needs and enhance the quality of learning in madrasah.

Abstract

Pesantren ialah lembaga pendidikan islam yang sudah teruji sampai saat ini masih survive dengan bermacam dinamikanya, sehingga keberadaannya kini menarik perhatian dunia pendidikan secara umum. Ciri khas yang membedakan pesantren dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya ialah sistem pendidikannya 24 jam yang mampu mendukung terbentuknya pendidikan karakter. Selain itu kurikulum yang digunakan dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pesantren sehingga membuatnya semakin unik, dan karakter kurikulumnya mencakup beberapa point yang saat ini juga diwujudkan dalam kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum 2013 yang ada di dalam pondok pesantren salafiyah dalam membentuk sikap santri melalui kajian-kajian kitab kuningnya. Pendekaatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di pondok pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Ahlus Shuffah Balikpapan, pondok pesantren salafiyah Nurul Muhibbin Grogot, Pondok Pesantren Darurrahman tenggarong dan Pondok pesantren Nurul Amin samarinda. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah pimpinan, pengasuh bagian pendidikan, asatidz dan perwakilan santri melalui tekhnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu pondok pesantren salafiyah secara esensi telah melakukan komponen-komponen yang ada dalam kurikulum 2013 tanpa disadari secara langsung, dan juga berhasil membentuk sikap santri melalui pemahaman kitab kuning dengan menterjemahkan dan menghubungkannya ke dalam ciri khas pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu membuka pandangan masyarakat luas bahwa pendidikan di pesantren sangat tepat, lengkap dan dapat sehingga jauh berbeda denganpendidikan formal biasa.
