Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka will be implemented at the secondary education level in 2024, even at the junior high school level, specifically for class VII, in the 2023/2024 academic year the Kurikulum Merdeka has been implemented. Implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka requires teachers' understanding and readiness of the Kurikulum Merdeka with its various aspects and its applications. Realistic conditions in the field show that junior high school teachers do not fully understand the Kurikulum Merdeka, especially about Learning Outcomes, Learning Objectives, Flow of Learning Objectives, and Teaching Modules and their modifications. The purpose of service activities is to increase knowledge, understanding, and produce learning tools related to these matters. Activities carried out in the form of workshops. The results of the activity show that the teachers have understood the concept of the Kurikulum Merdeka and its applications. This can be seen from the results of the work of the teachers in embodying this concept in the form of Learning Objectives Flow and Teaching Modules as lesson plans to be implemented. Thus, junior high school teachers at the Indonesian Language MGMP Tasikmalaya City are ready to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

It is crucial that teachers and students at SD IT Hafizul 'Ilmi Gampong Blang Krueng have the knowledge and abilities to deal with head injuries and treat minor injuries. This information may assist teachers and students cope with any head injuries that arise in the school environment. Both by the teachers and the students themselves. In addition to having the ability to treat minor injuries from falls, brain injuries such migraines, concussions, skull fractures, seizures, and wound care are common in schools. The goal of this community service project was to improve teachers' and students' knowledge and expertise in addressing head traumas and wound care. This act of community service was a component of a campaign to support the cadres and teachers working on UKS (School Health Division) SD IT Hafizul 'Ilmi.

Abstract

This training was motivated by the teachers as SDIK AS-Sunnah Aceh Tengah, most of them were overwhelmed by preparing effective learning media in low grades, because we all know students who are still in low grades quickly feel bored in learning, if the learning presented by teachers are less interesting to them. Therefore the authors are interested in providing a training that equips teachers in making effective learning media for elementary school students who are in low grades. In the training given by the author using the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method, which has 4 steps namely: discovery, dream, design, and destiny. The results of this training can more or less provide provisions for teachers in knowing the characteristics of students, so that they can provide effective learning media for elementary school students who are still in the lower grades. Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan aplikasi Kahoot sebagai bahan evaluasi pembelajaran matematika merupakan pembelajaran yang berbasis tekonologi. Kahoot merupakan suatu pembelajaran yang berbasis game, yang sering di gunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi pendidikan.  Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang bagaimana solusi pemecahan masalah terhadap situasi yang dihadapi oleh siswa. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pemberian kuis langsung dengan aplikasi Kahoot pada siswa sekolah SMP IT Ummul Qura Panton Labu, Aceh Utara. Pembelajaran berbasis game ini membuat siswa lebih tertarik  dan  dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata siswa, serta membangun kreativitas dan penalaran dan membuat peserta didik lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Post-Harvest Kenduri tradition which is carried out every year is a form of preserving culture and local wisdom values ​​in Pasir Village, Gayo Lues Regency. This article was written based on the results of a study of assistance provided by the author to the Kampung Pasir community. The aim of this service is to provide ideas so that the younger generation in particular can play an active role in efforts to preserve and maintain the local cultural values ​​of Kampung Pasir. The approach used during service is Participation Action Research (PAR) to apply knowledge and apply theory to the general public. The results of the service show that the Post-Harvest Kenduri ceremony which has been carried out by the people of Pasir village from the past until now aims to give thanks to Allah SWT who has bestowed grace and gifts on the community, both the blessings of life and good fortune. The people of Kampung Pasir can maintain this Kenduri tradition by including positive activities, including facilitating friendship between village residents and preserving the historical values ​​of the past. It is hoped that this post-harvest kenduri tradition will be maintained and passed down to the younger generation from generation to generation.

Abstract

The service that the author does at SDIT An Nahl Islamic School Pegasing is to provide training on making practical assessment instruments to teachers at the school. This training aims to give teachers the skills to make practical assessment instruments. The method that the author uses is CBPR (Community Based Participatory Research). This method is a method that is carried out to connect 2 circles, namely academics and the community by carrying out community service activities according to the needs desired by the community. This method also requires the joint participation of the entire community/society and the involvement of the researcher. From the training that the author provided, teachers who took part in the training felt great benefits from the training and teachers were able to make practice assessment instruments along with the scoring rubric. In addition, the teacher plans to bring the instrument to the school level and discuss it in teacher meetings so that it can be used during the learning process. and do not rule out the possibility that the instrument will be discussed when there are KKG activities.

Abstract

Moodle is one of the most popular and frequently used LMS in the world of education. This research aims to increase the understanding of junior high school mathematics teachers in the Sukaraja area, Tasikmalaya Regency regarding the development of teaching materials for the MOODLE Learning Management System Content, so that they can utilize this technology to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. The method used is a classical and individual approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the training increased understanding of the use of Moodle LMS in mathematics education, enabling participants to develop interactive teaching materials. Collaboration between Mathematics teachers at MGMP is encouraged, facilitating knowledge exchange. Technology and appropriate instructional design improve mathematics learning in middle school with access to diverse materials and interesting ways of learning.

Abstract

Activities for implementing the Community Service Program Featured Study Program Scheme (PbM-PUPS) by the Mathematics Education Department towards the High School Mathematics MGMP which is implemented in the form of "Workshop: Development of Independent Curriculum Based Learning Tools Through the PJBL Model for High School Mathematics MGMP Teachers throughout the City of Tasikmalaya", provide benefits and convenience for teachers in compiling teaching materials, Student Worksheets, and evaluation tools that will be used in learning, provide opportunities for mathematics teachers to gather, discuss, and share their experiences and knowledge in teaching mathematics and discuss changes or development of the independent curriculum, and discussing how to implement this curriculum well and effectively in mathematics learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Healthy and clean environment is something that must be initiated for the survival of future generations so that it is not threatened by the consequences of irresponsible human behaviour. This community service is inspired by the lack of students’ awareness in maintaining environmental cleanliness and the lack of cleaning facilities at MTs MIM Langsa. The procedure of this assisting activity is carried out through 3 stages, namely: planning, implementing, and reflecting, which begins with field observation to the target school. This potential-based community service activity is in the form of counseling/socialization and mentoring on school environmental hygiene. Socialization activities targeting OSIM administrators of MTs MIM Langsa as role models are expected to motivate other students to always maintain school cleanliness. Meanwhile, other activities include painting garbage cans and providing posters with the theme of environmental cleanliness. The provision of cleaning facilities in the form of garbage cans in several places in the school environment has received positive responses and support from the school community, one of which is showed by students who responsibly do class pickets and do not litter.

Abstract

Guided Learning Outside School days is an initiative program conducted to enhance grade VII students’ literacy and numeracy. This activity is conducted by a group of students guided by a lecturer of IAIN Langsa, Aceh, Indonesia as part of students’ community services program. The program aims to enhance students’ literacy and numeracy including Tahsin Al-Qur’an, Mathematics, Arabic and English subject. The activity consists of 10 students from grade VII for each subject. Data analysis show that the students’ literacy and numeracy rose about 20% of average score. Moreover, team of students’ community services could cooperate with team from school community both teachers and students as a support factor to achieve program goals. By analyzing and evaluating program, it showed that the program was categorized as a succeed program and give a high contribution for school communities to enhance students’ literacy and numeracy
