Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of the SAS (Synthetic Structural Analytical) method in improving the beginning reading and writing skills of first graders with speech impairments. This research is a class action research (CAR). Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis was carried out in this study using descriptive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) using the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) can improve the beginning reading and writing skills of grade 1 students, 2) using the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) in learning to read beginning and start writing is carried out in stages, namely two cycles experienced a significant increase where students in cycle 1 were categorized as 'less' than the average value of 66.6 and in cycle II they increased to the category of 'very good' with an average value of 81.1. Thus the synthetic structural analytic method (SAS) needs to be used as a reference by teachers in early reading and writing learning activities in elementary schools.

Abstract

Inclusive education, an educational concept that promotes equality and participation of all individuals, is receiving increasing attention in a diverse global era. This article explores inclusive education from the perspective of religious literature, analyzing how the values and teachings of various religions can shape education that is inclusive, accepting, and respecting differences. Through library research methods, this article collects views from Islamic, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish and traditional religious literature. The results of the study show that the concept of inclusive education can be found in universal values such as compassion, justice and brotherhood found in religious literature. These teachings offer a strong foundation for developing a learning environment that embraces diversity, builds student character, and promotes interfaith understanding. However, challenges in integrating religious values in educational practices are also found, including diverse interpretations and contextual adaptations. This article suggests steps towards implementing inclusive education based on religious values, including developing learning materials, training educators, collaborating with religious communities, and developing interfaith dialogue. Although complex, the application of this concept has the potential to shape a more inclusive and sustainable educational environment, building a society that values diversity and equality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-acceptance in young vocational school students. This research is quantitative research. The data collection technique used is random sampling technique using a Likert scale. The results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.533 with a sign of 0.000 (p <0.005), meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between body image and self-acceptance. The analysis showed that the hypothesis was accepted, namely that there was a relationship between body image and self-acceptance in vocational youth and the direction of the relationship, namely positive, which means that the higher the body image possessed by students, the higher self-acceptance in adolescents, conversely, the lower the body image possessed by adolescents, the lower the level of self-acceptance in adolescents.

Abstract

The quality of graduate students at the SMA/MA level is not optimal when viewed from the national exam scores which are not included in the top five categories with the highest scores in Indonesia. Madrasah heads and teachers within the scope of educational institutions are spearheads in creating quality graduates, so that in this study these two factors will be tested for their influence on graduate quality. The method in this study was a quantitative approach with the type of ex-post facto, with a population of all MAN teachers in Blitar district. While the sample was taken randomly from the three madrasas. Technical data analysis using simple and multiple regression tests with prerequisite tests for normality and linearity tests. From the results of this study, the authors concluded: 1) There is a positive and significant influence on the performance of madrasa principals on the quality of MAN student graduates in Blitar district by 49.8%. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of teacher performance on the quality of MAN graduate students in Blitar district by 53.5%. 3) There is an effect of the performance of madrasah heads and teachers' performance on the quality of MAN student graduates in Blitar district by 53.6%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there is a positive influence between emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class V students at SDN Rambutan 03 Pagi, East Jakarta. This research is ex-post facto research. This research is quantitative research. The variables in this research are the independent variable (emotional intelligence) and the dependent variable (learning achievement). Use of documentation data such as the average score of students' report cards and the emotional intelligence scale as a data collection method. This research uses data analysis techniques in the form of simple linear regression analysis. The research results showed that the R Square (coefficient of determination) was 0.051 or in percent form 5.1%. Based on the results, the contribution of variable X to Y is 5.1% while the remaining 94.9% is based on other factors. These factors can be external factors (originating from outside a person) or internal factors (originating from within a person). The influence of emotional intelligence on participants' learning achievement has a regression equation, namely Y = 61.835 + 0.296, which means that every increase in emotional intelligence by one value can reduce the learning achievement value by 0.296. It was concluded that emotional intelligence greatly influences the mathematics learning achievement of class V students at SDN Rambutan 03 Pagi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of children's prosocial behavior which is not yet in accordance with the standards for the developmental attainment level of children aged 5-6 years. Lack of prosocial behavior makes children less sensitive to their surroundings, such as children being unable to share, children being unable to help and children being unable to work together. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using Sembara storybook media to develop prosocial behavior in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses a type of development research with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of the effectiveness test using the Wilcoxon test show that 0.001 < 0.05, because the results of significance are less than 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of Sembara book media is effective in developing prosocial behavior in children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the effectiveness of character education through a multicultural approach to civic education in elementary schools. Where character education does not have special subjects but character education is still organized by combining into all subjects in elementary school, one of which is the subject of civic education or commonly abbreviated as PPKN. Which is expected that the younger generation in the future will continue to behave in accordance with the philosophy of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Therefore, the next generation of young people are taught character starting from an early age, namely in education at the elementary school level. This research is carried out with a qualitative approach to case study methods. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and inference. While the validity of data uses triangulation methods and time.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) model on students' speaking skills at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research method uses Quasi Experimental Design, a form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data for this research are the results of learning speaking skills using the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) model. The sample for this research was 40 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. Data collection techniques include interviews and questionnaires. Before analysis, the data was tested using expert validity, normality and homogeneity tests. Next, a hypothesis test was carried out using T test analysis (T-Test), namely the Independent Simple T-Test. Output results of the normality test using the Shapiro Wilk test with the help of SPSS version 20. 0 for windows by looking at the Pretest data, the experimental class value is 0.379 > 0.05 and the control class value is 0.491 > 0.05, indicating that the data variance for the experimental class and control class is normally distributed. After knowing that the samples are normally distributed, the next step is to carry out a normality test to find out whether the two samples have the same variance. The statistical analysis used to test homogeneity is the homogeneity of variance test (F Test) with the help of SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. Significance level >0.05. Data is declared homogeneous if the significant value is greater than 5% or 0.05. The results of the research showed that the control class got an average pretest to posttest score which increased. In the experimental class, the average student pretest to posttest scores also increased. In the analysis of hypothesis testing using the t test (independent sample t test) by comparing the experimental class posttest data with the control class posttest, it shows that the application of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) learning model has no effect on the speaking skills of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Research on critical thinking has been done a lot. There are approximately 1,983 studies on critical thinking over the last 10 years. This study aims to classify 100 articles about critical thinking to find research novelty based on 6 categories. The first is based on the product development model, the second is based on learning tools, the third is based on the learning model, the fourth is based on education level, the fifth is based on class, and the sixth is based on subjects. This type of research is study literature. The results showed: 1) Novelty in the product development model category using the PDD model; 2) Novelty in the category of learning devices using teaching materials; 3) Novelty in the learning model category using the BSMT, ER, Culture-Based 7E Learning Cycle, Jigsaw, Remap GI & Remap J, RECORSE, 5E-STEAM, RME, PJBL, Active and Interactive Learning models; 4) Novelty in the category of education level is carried out in PAUD; 5) Novelty in the class category is carried out in grade 9; and 6) Novelty in the subject category using PAI, accounting, ICT, and social subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-efficacy on teacher creativity in the learning process. The research used is a type of quantitative research using a causality approach. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Questionnaires were given to 210 teachers who were the research sample using a survey method with one-way analysis. The collected data was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment (PPM) statistical test which was then used as a basis for drawing conclusions regarding the hypothesis used. The results of hypothesis testing show that self-efficacy has a direct and significant effect on teacher creativity. The self-efficacy indicator that has the most influence on teacher creativity is the Personal Skills indicator.
