Abstract

Mitigation is a stage that aims to reduce the possibility of negative impacts when a disaster occurs. With disaster mitigation education, it is hoped that the public can understand the threat of disasters that will occur. How high is the level of achievement of disaster mitigation activity programs in PAUD institutions in West Surabaya, District. Benowo. The type of research used in this research is a quantitative survey with a descriptive approach. Data collection in this research took the form of a questionnaire in the form of a Google form. The results of data analysis used a one-sample t-test with right-hand hypothesis testing. Cronbach's Alpha value is Reliability, it is known that Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.874. This value is then compared with the R-Table value, with the N100 value searched for in the distribution of R-Table values ​​at a significance of 5%, an R-Table value of 0.180 is obtained. All variables have valid status because the calculated r-value (corrected Item-Total Correlation) r-table is 0.180. This disaster mitigation activity program can be used as a learning activity program, especially storytelling activities to help children understand disaster events. By providing play activities, children will feel happy and enthusiastic about participating in learning activities.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of improving student learning outcomes by discussing and helping students to be confident in presenting the results of their discussions in front of other students. This research is classroom action research in which the object of this research is 12 grade 5 students at MI Az-Zainiyah II, which includes 4 stages: 1. Planning 2. Implementation 3. Observation 4. Reflection. This research data was taken from the observation process, interviews with the homeroom teacher and grade 5 students, documentation, and practice of applying the Card Sort and The Power Of Two And Four learning models. Which is the result of this research, students learn more effectively and happily because in the Card Sort model which uses cards which are a book of concepts like a game so that students are interested in choosing challenges or questions on the cards, and by collaborating with The Power Of Two And Four model Students can develop what they think in group discussions and students train their self-confident courage to appear in front and present the results they have discussed. The conclusion of this research is to apply the Cart Sort and The Power of Two and Four Learning Model to science subjects with light energy material for grade 5 students at MI Az-Zainiyah II Grinting Paiton Probolinggo.

Abstract

The use of Design Thinking in the field of education has become a major highlight as a relevant problem solving method. Problem solving ability is one of the essential competencies in the context of 21st century education. This research uses content analysis of a number of articles contained in the Web of Science (WOS) database, with the main focus on the application of Design Thinking (DT) within the framework of Instructional Design (ID) and/or Instructional System Design (ISD). This research aims to complement the previous report, "Design Thinking in Education: Perspectives, Opportunities and Challenges" (Panke, S., 2019), which has investigated the role of DT in education. Although the number of publications specifically exploring DT in ID and ISD is still limited, research trends show a significant increase from year to year. Based on the search results, publications exploring the use of DT in ID and ISD tend to be qualitative in nature, often in the form of multiple case studies. Several publications highlight subjects and materials that aim to improve student competence, learning processes, and learning design. Despite this, publications that focus on the role of instructional designers are still relatively limited. Several recommendations have been proposed for future research, with the aim of supporting the adoption of DT by Instructional Designers as a primary focus. These findings will provide valuable insight for further developments in the use of Design Thinking in the field of Education.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, learning applications have become indispensable tools in the educational process. This research delves into the utilization of Design Thinking as an innovative methodology for crafting M-Physics applications. The study delineates the steps involved in Design Thinking, which encompass empathy, definition, ideation, and prototyping. The findings demonstrate that Design Thinking aids researchers in gaining a deeper understanding of user needs, articulating problems more precisely, generating creative ideas, and ultimately, devising more innovative solutions. The foundation of the M-Physics prototype design lies in presenting material in a manner that is both succinct and detailed, aligning with the principles of generative learning. M-Physics aims to assist learners, particularly students, in comprehending physics material. Future research should endeavor to complete the Design Thinking process through to the testing stage, ensuring the production of a comprehensive product that truly meets user needs. The insights gleaned from this research are anticipated to be of value to other educational application developers seeking to incorporate a Design Thinking approach into their design processes.

Abstract

Along with the progress of the times, challenges and obstacles continue to develop and change, especially in the field of digital technology. This is caused by changes in human demand and needs from time to time. Therefore, in the era of globalization, digital technology plays a very important role in people’s lives, especially in the world of education. This research aims to contribute to efforts to improve the quality of education, especially in understanding digital literacy. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study type. This research took place at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Islam, Alaspandan, Pakuniran, Probolinggo. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, documentation and open interviews. Observations were carried out by directly observing learning activities carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Islam. Interviews were conducted with 6 teaching staff who were homeroom teachers in each class. The results of the research show that the synchronization of objectives from various parties, starting from the foundation as the highest administrator of the Madrasah and the head of the Madrasah as the driving force in the running of the wheel of education, as well as parents and students, have a big influence on increasing digital literacy skills at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Islam, because of the collaboration able to improve student’s abilities in operating digital literacy. Digital literacy is very important to implement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Islam.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to write drama texts of high school students in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, which is still below the KKM. The low ability of students to write drama texts is caused by students' lack of interest and students' difficulty in determining drama themes. The learning model used by teachers is still not in line with expectations. The learning model is still not varied. Such conditions indicate gaps that need to be resolved. The Project Based Learning model based on local potential is an alternative for improving the ability to write drama texts. This research aims to describe the profile of learning to write drama texts, design a Project Based Learning model based on local potential in learning to write drama texts and develop a Project Based Learning model based on local potential in learning to write drama texts as well as the responses of participants after this model is implemented. This R&D research uses the Plomp model which consists of stages, preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, test, evaluation and revision, implementation. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, questionnaires, interviews and tests. The data analysis used was qualitative descriptive. The test results of the implementation of the Project Based Learning model based on local potential in learning to write drama texts at SMAN Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan can improve the ability to write drama texts. The final Project Based Learning model based on local potential in learning to write drama texts is a guide to the Project Based Learning model based on local potential in learning to write drama texts.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today can support Blended learning as a form of learning process in increasing student learning motivation in this century, this learning innovation is expected to aim as an increase in student learning motivation accompanied by strategic steps of educators to increase student motivation. This study aims to analyze the Blended Learning method of student learning motivation in the 21st century. The data collection method is carried out by literature study or library method, focusing on Blended Learning related to learning motivation in 21st Century Education. This study shows that Blended Learning can answer problems by increasing student learning motivation by paying attention and combining online and ofine learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of blended learning methods is effective because it makes the learning process more exible, supported by the development of technology, information, and communication, so that it can increase the motivation and independence of students in the 21st century.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in thematic learning activities and outcomes of grade 2 students of SDN Kasreman 01 Geneng through the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The implementation of this research is carried out through general steps, namely 1) class precentation, 2) learning in groups (teams), 3) games (games), 4) tournaments (tournaments), and 5) group awards (teams reception). This research uses two types of data, namely quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data in the form of learning outcomes are analyzed in a percentage descriptive manner while qualitative data in the form of observations of student activities are analyzed qualitatively with interactive analysis techniques then interpreted based on calculations and compared with established indicators. The success indicators of this PTK are, the activeness of students in learning activities at least 75%, learning outcomes or the number of students who get scores according to KKM (>70) at least 75%. The results of the study obtained from the assessment of the learning outcomes of grade II students in the first cycle were: (1) an average grade of 71.00 with classical learning completeness of 73.33%; (2) the average student activity is 71.61%. Cycle II is: (1) grade average 77.60 with classical learning completeness of 93.33%; (2) the average student activity is 81.11%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the TGT learning model can improve Thematic learning activities and outcomes in grade II students at SDN Kasreman 01 Geneng

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between students' disciplinary attitudes and student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is experimental research analysis. This research uses the Pearson correlation (product moment) test. The data collection instrument is through final semester grades with a sample size of 30 people. Based on data testing using the Pearson correlation test, the sig value was obtained. 0.000 < 0.05 which indicates that there is a relationship between students' discipline attitudes and student learning outcomes, and has a degree of relationship of 0.603 which is categorized as a strong relationship. So from this description it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between students' disciplinary attitudes on the informatics learning outcomes of class XF students at SMAN 9 Pontianak and this relationship has a strong status.

Abstract

PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) is an international assessment designed to measure students' literacy abilities in various disciplines, including science. This research aims to analyze the scientific literacy abilities of students at MTS Nurul Huda Situbondo in solving PISA Science questions. The research method used is data analysis from the results of the PISA Science test given to students. The data described includes test results based on problem-solving and reasoning assessment rubrics. The research results show that most students need help solving these questions, such as understanding questions well, misinterpreting images, applying scientific knowledge, and relating them to real life. The results of the analysis also show that there is significant variation in abilities among students. The results of the Kruskal Wallis-H test show a p-value <0.05, which means there is a substantial difference between the 3 dependent variables. Some students demonstrate scientific literacy in analyzing and solving PISA science questions, while others still need further assistance. The research results will provide insight into the challenges in solving PISA Science questions by students and improving science education at MTS Nurul Huda Situbondo. Understanding and overcoming these obstacles can prepare students to compete globally, especially in science.
