Abstract

This study aims to analyze generation Z's perception of the effectiveness of SMM in building brands in educational institutions, especially universities. Specifically, this study investigates the influence of SMM on four dimensions of brand gestalt, namely storyscape, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders. The design of this study is descriptive causal, with primary data collection through a survey of 225 samples of active students of Klabat University. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the support of SmartPLS statistical program. The results of the analysis show that SMM has a positive and significant influence on brand trust. Furthermore, brand trust has a positive and significant influence on the four dimensions of brand gestalt, namely storyscape, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders. The findings provide information about the important role social media plays in building strong brand perceptions.

Abstract

This research reflects an effort to explain the implementation of the Comprehensive Guidance program in shaping students' characters at SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK (Special Program) Kartasura Sukoharjo. The purpose of this research is to reveal details about the implementation of the Comprehensive Guidance program in shaping students' characters and to identify factors that support and hinder the implementation of the program in character formation. Data collection methods used involved observation and interviews, while data processing was done using a qualitative approach. This approach was chosen to analyze data derived from observations and interviews. The results of this research indicate that the Comprehensive Guidance Program consists of five types of guidance: academic, health, social, spiritual, and long-live guidance. Supporting factors in the implementation of this program include young, energetic teachers who are enthusiastic about guiding children, as well as support from parents. However, there are some inhibiting factors, such as not all teachers having the skills to guide children and the fact that character formation cannot be achieved in a short period.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive systematic review aimed at investigating the role of servant leadership within the context of education. The primary objective was to identify and synthesize empirical studies exploring the outcomes and impacts of servant leadership in educational settings. Given the paucity of systematic reviews addressing servant leadership in education, this research seeks to bridge the gap in existing literature by providing an evidence-informed exploration of how servant leadership operates and can be effectively applied in educational institutions. The study employed a systematic literature review methodology, analyzing 30 scientific articles sourced from the Scopus and Web of Science (WOS) databases. The results of the data analysis highlighted the critical role played by servant leadership in the education context. At the individual level, servant leadership fosters a vibrant environment where teachers experience enhanced morale, job satisfaction, and engagement. Trust and loyalty flourish, solidifying the bonds within the educational community. On the organizational level, servant leadership empowers individuals and fosters improved communication, leading to a positive and collaborative organizational culture. The findings underscore the profound impact of servant leadership on teacher outcomes, affirming its relevance as a guiding philosophy for effective leadership within educational settings.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal resistance strategies to form humor in Cak Silo Cs' Dhagelan YouTube content. The research data source is the YouTube content of Cak Silo Cs episode Cak Silo Jualan Pentol which was uploaded on March 22 2020. The object of research is lingual units which indicate resistance. Next, listening and interpreting were carried out and explained descriptively qualitatively and analyzed using the functional pragmatic method. The research results show that the resistance used only includes three forms of the four existing forms. 1) reactance by mocking with reasons that are not commonly used, and saying clearly "no" or "don't" accompanied by reasons that are not commonly used. 2) distrust expressed by "don't want" accompanied by reasons that are not commonplace/ 3) supervision expressed by giving suggestions, asking and agreeing accompanied by an explanation of the refusal.

Abstract

The usage of education technology into vocational school programs, can help vocational schools stay current with industry trends and provide students with the skills and knowledge needed for success in their chosen careers. However, the effective language instruction in vocational schools not only enhances students' linguistic abilities but also contributes to their overall employability and success in their chosen careers. The educators also known how to deliver the topic effectively by choosing an appropriate education technology due to the different educational background of the students. The educators must approach the unique needs of vocational students to make significant impact on their language proficiency and professional readiness. In this case, the researcher investigated interactive video as one of the media used by the lecturers. The investigation implemented qualitative method to gain the data. The result showed that the quality of the interactive video was good and all respondents prefer to utilize the interactive video rather than traditional video.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education and training as well as compensation on teacher performance through teacher loyalty. This study uses a quantitative method where research is presented through numbers. The total population in this study is 171 educators. The sampling technique is probability sampling, which means a sampling technique that provides equal opportunities for each element (member) of the population to be selected as a member of the sample. The number of samples is carried out by means of statistical calculations, namely using the slovin formula. Data collection used the method of observation, questionnaires and documentation, which were processed using the Rxy test and analyzed through the t test and KD test. Based on Rxy, it can be seen that between variables X and Y there is a very high correlation taking into account the magnitude of Rxy (0.74), located between 0.71 – 0.90. And based on the t test, it was found that the tcount was greater than 11.851 while the ttable was 1.657 with a significant level of 0.05 Df 118. So there was a significant or positive effect. This means that the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, because t count is greater than t table. And based on the KD test, it found a value of 54.76%, meaning that there was a contribution of Variables X1, X2 and Variable Y while 45.24% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The presence of habaib in Nusantara and Kalimantan (Borneo) not only leaves a historical trace, but also leaves an important role in instilling the value of multicultural education for the community. The traces and role of this habaib are depicted in several manuscripts of handwritten works left by the Kutai Kartanegara sultanate and Pontianak Sultanate that had triumphed in their time. The famous Kutai Kartanegara sultanate manuscripts are Salasila Kutai, Panji Salatin and Baraja Niti. While the famous Pontianak Sultanate manuscripts are Prince Sharif's Syair Script and Bahar Al-Lahut's Script. This research wants to answer the question of how habaib traces in Borneo manuscripts? and what are the roles of habaib as a cleric in the multcultural education of the people of the Sultanate of East Kalimantan and West Kalimantan? The manuscripts of the sultanate were then traced according to a philological approach and analyzed with a historical and paedagogic approach. The results of the analysis illustrate that habaib as a scholar has a role in instilling the value of multicultural education. The habaibs serve as preachers, teachers, and muftis, as well as sulthans in the system of government.

Abstract

The time management of MA Nurul Jadid Probolinggo students of the Tahfidz Science program is still a problem, where it can be known that not all Tahfidz Science students can achieve the target on time determined by the school. One way to overcome these problems is by habituating time management in female students, this study aims to determine the influence of time management in overcoming the problem of achieving the target of MA Nurul Jadid students of the TAHFIDZ Science Program. This research design uses descriptive qualitative methods observed directly in the field, so the data produced is in the form of description writings not in the form of numbers. This qualitative study focuses on planning, organizing, implementing and impacting the management of learning disciplines on female students, as well as the factors that hinder it. The results showed that MA Nurul Jadid students of the TAHFIDZ Science Program did not pursue airing for khatam but to strengthen memorization, namely with the assembly system, namely the tasmi method.

Abstract

For This research aims to examine the influence of literacy activities through reading aloud picture books on the language and cognitive development of Group B children at TK Nurul Huda Karang Sekaran Lamongan in the academic year 2023/2024. This study employs a Quasi-Experiment with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study consist of one independent variable and two dependent variables. The independent variable is literacy activities through reading aloud picture books (X), while the dependent variables are language development (Y1) and cognitive development (Y2). The sample in this study includes 30 Plus Hafidzul Qur'an TK children in the experimental group (15 children B-1 and 15 children B-2) and 30 children in the control group (15 children B-3 and 15 children B-4). The data analysis technique in this study uses parametric statistical analysis, specifically the Independent t-test. The results of the research indicate that (1) There is an influence of literacy activities through reading aloud picture books on the language development of Group B children at TK Nurul Huda Karang Sekaran Lamongan in the academic year 2023/2024, with a statistically significant value of t = -2.977 and a significance level of p = 0.004, which is less than 5%; (2) There is an influence of literacy activities through reading aloud picture books on the cognitive development of Group B children at TK Nurul Huda Karang Sekaran Lamongan in the academic year 2023/2024, with a statistically significant value of t = -3.718 and a significance level of p = 0.000, which is less than 5%. This study is expected to provide insights for teachers in developing literacy activities through reading aloud picture books, especially in the language and cognitive development of Group B children at TK Nurul Huda Karang Sekaran in Lamongan district.

Abstract

Understanding Japanese humor culture is closely related to understanding Japanese communication culture in order to facilitate the communication process in the era of globalization. In this research, the researcher examines further the humor techniques used in the konto performance of the comedian group 東京03 (Tokyo Zero San) based on Berger's theory of humor techniques in order to understand the humor techniques generally used by Japanese society. In this research, the most data falls into the classification of humor techniques, language indicators of exaggeration and repartee, with 5 data each being obtained, Classification of humor language techniques: allusion, insults, and misunderstanding, each with 3 data, classification of humor techniques: bombast, definition, facetiousness, infantilism, over literalness, puns, and satire with 2 data. And classification of humor techniques, irony, ridicule and sarcasm, each of which only obtained 1 data.
