Abstract

Paying attention to the welfare level of soldiers is also an important task in building and maintaining morale and fighting spirit in the military. This study aims to examine the effect of the Service Housing Provision Program (PPMD) on the level of welfare of Indonesian Navy soldiers. The method used is a survey with a simple random sampling technique and data analysis using simple linear regression. The results of the study show that PPMD ​​has a positive and significant influence on the welfare of TNI AL soldiers, with an R Square value of 0.463. These findings show that PPMD ​​can increase the level of welfare of TNI AL soldiers, so efforts need to be made to continue to improve the quality of the PPMD ​​program in providing housing for TNI AL soldiers.

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has become a very valuable asset in decision making in the military field. Where, data science can be used for various purposes, such as risk prediction and analysis, policy development, human resource development, operational efficiency improvement, and predicting someone's length of service in the military. However, effective implementation of data science also requires adequate data infrastructure, strict data security, and skilled and trained human resources in data science. The purpose of this study is to discuss the effect of using data science in developing the quality of human resources, where from this point of view data science is considered to be able to make a significant contribution in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of military human resources development in Indonesia. This research method is a survey method with the aim of obtaining data on the use and benefits of data science in developing military human resources with a sample of 50 people. As for data processing using SPSS software analysis tools. Utilization of data science is the independent variable in this study, while the quality of military human resource development in Indonesia is the dependent variable, with the control variable being the level of education and experience of military human resources. The results of multiple linear regression tests show that the utilization of data science, education level, and experience of military human resources simultaneously has a significant effect on the quality of military human resource development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Critical Thinking is a process that involves mental operations such as deduction, induction, classification, evaluation, and reasoning. This study aims to capture the landscape of Critical Thinking research, especially in secondary schools. The method used is descriptive bibliometric analysis. The source data obtained comes from the Scopus database. The study results show that the most publications related to Critical Thinking are in high schools, namely in 2022, with a total of 18 publications. The publication with the most citations was in 2004, which was cited 133 times. The country that has had the greatest impact on Critical Thinking research in secondary schools in the United States of America. The research focus is divided into sections, namely, 1) development and technology; 2) science and outcomes; 3) curriculum and mathematics, and 4) environment and motivation. The new themes in this field are self-efficacy, STEM education, and innovation. The keywords innovation and Critical Thinking in high school are separate from the other two new theme keywords, self-efficacy and STEM education. The keywords in the first research focus, namely technology and Critical Thinking in high schools, are separate from the keyword reasoning

Abstract

PKn education becomes fundamental in the formation of the character of students through learning within the scope of educational institutions. The selection of appropriate learning strategies aims to achieve learning and reach students, so that it is not interpreted as merely fulfilling the material. Civic Education education should no longer be a monotonous and boring lesson. The learning strategy that can be developed is the strategy for implementing Civics based on religious moderation. From the Civics learning strategy based on Bhineka Tunggal Ika, students are invited to explore and analyze diversity issues in their surroundings. Religious moderation is interpreted as an attitude of tolerance, respect and moderation towards any differences that exist, especially religious differences. Important moderation in religion is applied because Indonesia has a very diverse diversity and the conditions for conflict over these differences. Writing this article aims to present the urgency of the rules of moderation in religion through educational institutions that focus on civics education (PKn) at SMA Negeri 1 Babat with the subject of research as Civics teachers and Class X 2 students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research model to find the meaning of a phenomenon what happens in society. By using data techniques in the form of interviews and field observations. The results of the study explained that: (1) learning moderation in religion through Civics education based on Bhineka Tunggal Ika is effective in providing national insight and building dialogue about diversity (2) Through Bhineka Tunggal Ika-based projects students are able to apply how to live side by side with an attitude full of love and get along in any difference.

Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology that helps 3D virtual objects to be viewed interactively in the real world. Implementing Augmented Reality into the learning process has a great opportunity to get various benefits. The purpose of this study is to capture research landscapes related to Augmented Reality in high school learning from 2009 to 2023. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The database used in collecting the necessary related information is the Scopus database. Augmented Reality research publications in secondary schools from 2009 to 2023 have experienced an increase in recent years. The highest number of citations was in 2013. The United States and China are the most influential countries in this field. The focus of research related to Augmented Reality in secondary schools is 1) technology, motivation, and environment; 2) games and interests; 3) achievement and development. The keyword Augmented Reality is not directly related to science learning. The game keywords are not directly related to the outcomes keywords. This novelty can be useful for further research examining a theme similar to this research. The new themes related to this field are science learning, mathematics education, concepts, and spatial abilities.

Abstract

As a unit of Christian education, the church becomes an institution that bears responsibility and is a solution to problems that occur in society. The problem arises because there is no structured pattern of education that views poverty as a form of insensitivity to its role on earth. This study aims to prove the importance of religious education in a metaformative context to the maturity of the younger generation. The method chosen in this study is quantitative research with survey methods. Acting as a population are Tarutung State Institute for Christian Studies students, with a sample of 100 people. It is found that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, and indicated that there was a significant average difference between pre-tests and post-test results, which means religious education is effective for increasing the maturity of the younger generation.

Abstract

High digital literacy skills can make it easier for students to follow every learning process. Learning outcomes are one indicator of successful learning in the academic field. The purpose of this research is to look at the research landscape related to digital literacy and learning outcomes from the Scopus database, the method used is bibliometric analysis. The results of the study show that the number of publications related to digital literacy and learning outcomes increases every year from 2018 to 2022. The largest number of documents is in the United States, the highest number of documents is in institutions or universities "London school of economics and political science" with 281 citations, in the journal "Journal of information technology education: research" with 2 documents, then in the article with the highest number of citations, namely research conducted by (Falloon 2020). The second research focus is digital literacy, blended learning and technology. The third research focus is earning outcomes, digital technology and information literacy. The three research focuses above can be used as a reference for further researchers to determine the research theme. The keywords that became the new theme were digital story telling, blended learning, artificial intelligence, technology, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.

Abstract

Child-friendly education is an educational model that aims to fulfill the rights of the child by providing a comfortable, safe and enjoyable learning environment for both students and teachers. In addition, it enables the participants to learn independently. Because all rules created by educational institutions must include student participation. This context relates to both the students' freedom to express their ideas and the participants' freedom to reach their full potential. This study uses a library-based research methodology using books and scholarly articles on child-friendly schools. The aim of this study is to describe child-friendly education in Islamic educational institutions. In order to realize child-friendly education in educational institutions, we must first develop some components, including the child-friendly school policy. Educators and educational staff are aware of children's rights, child-friendly teaching and learning processes, non-violent discipline and child-safe facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research is basically behind the emergence of the idea to document the oral literature of the Kp. Fishermen in Muara Village, Wanasama Binuangen District. The general problem of this research is the structure and function of the oral literature of the Kp. Fishermen in Muara Village, Wanasalam Binuangen District. There are three titles analyzed, namely Karang Malang Beach, Makom Nyi Subang Larang Site and Syeh Mansyur Corner. The purpose of this study is to describe the problems discussed, while the benefits of this research are expected to contribute to the development of oral literature research, especially folklore, can be used as teaching materials in schools, can be used as a reference for further researchers, and as an effort cultural preservation, especially Kp. Fishermen in Muara Village, Wanasalam Binuangen District. The theories used in this research are oral literature theory, structural theory, oral literature function, learning system planning, and literary learning. This study uses a descriptive method, the form of this research is qualitative and uses a structural approach and sociology of literature.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a new color in learning activities and also as a means of improving the quality of education after the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation is based on Permendikbudristek number 56 of 2022. The characteristic of the independent curriculum is the cultivation of character values of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project whose actualization is packaged in Project-based learning. The learning is a Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students in which there are several themes, one of which is the theme of local literacy. This study aims to see how the implementation of the Teaching Module of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the Theme of Local Wisdom in improving students' cultural literacy skills at SMA Negeri 1 Babat, Lamongan which has the status of an independent school has changed. As a result, the implementation showed that the teaching module of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project with the theme of local wisdom was able to improve cultural literacy skills by looking at the average score gain, namely before treatment of 77 and after treatment of 88.3. Then the percentage of implementation that has been carried out well and the positive response of students to these learning activities.
