Abstract

The issuance of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government provides broader autonomy to each region (Province) and Region (Regency/City) to regulate their own regions. In the realm of Education, this autonomy not only builds independence but also raises other problems that complicate regional government. With a qualitative approach using the Literature Study Analysis method with Primary Data in the form of Law Number 23 of 2014 and Law Number 20 of 2003 as the Main Data from several Journals, several Government problems can be found related to the distribution of authority such as Coordination Between Levels of Government, Human Resource Capacity, Funding and Budget, Management of Educators and Infrastructure and Facilities. The resolution of the problems that have been conveyed requires efforts to improve coordination between levels of government, strengthening the capacity of human resources in the regions, clarity in budget allocation, and equal distribution of educators and development of educational infrastructure. It is hoped that this article can provide an overview of micro problems in the regions and then sit together to solve these problems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) activities based on local wisdom of Acehnese culture in producing learning products by teachers in elementary schools. The Merdeka Curriculum encourages the implementation of P5 as an effort to shape students' character according to Pancasila values through a contextual project approach. Acehnese local wisdom, which is rich in cultural values and Islamic traditions, has great potential to be integrated into P5 activities to strengthen students' cultural identity and 21st-century skills. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were elementary school teachers who had implemented P5 based on local wisdom. The results of the study showed that the integration of local culture into P5 encouraged teachers to create more innovative and contextual teaching materials, such as modules, learning media, and student projects based on Acehnese culture. The obstacles faced included limited resources and lack of training. However, with collaborative strategies and school support, teachers were able to produce meaningful learning products. This study contributes to the development of project-based learning and the preservation of local culture through elementary education.

Abstract

The concept of three centers of education, introduced by Ki Hajar Dewantara, emphasizes that education is not only the responsibility of schools, but also involves families and communities as the main centers in shaping individual character and competence. These three elements have complementary roles and cannot be separated in a holistic education process. In the context of the Indonesian National Education System, the implementation of this concept has significant implications for the formulation of policies, curriculum development strategies, and pedagogical approaches that are oriented towards the needs of students as a whole. The synergy of these three centers is the key to the success of education that is able to form Indonesian people who are intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually intelligent. The national education system demands the integration of cross-sector policies, increased community participation, and strengthening the capacity of parents as primary educators. A collaborative approach is also needed between schools and the surrounding environment to create an inclusive and sustainable education ecosystem.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Rohani Islam (ROHIS) extracurricular activities at SMA Bina Warga 1 Palembang in strengthening Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah (ASWAJA) values and shaping students’ tolerance. Despite not being affiliated with NU, the school’s ROHIS program, established in 2018, emphasizes ASWAJA principles through structured daily, weekly, monthly, and annual activities aimed at fostering religious and tolerant attitudes. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach, data were collected via observation, interviews with ROHIS mentors, Islamic education teachers, and participants, as well as documentation. Findings reveal that ROHIS instills ASWAJA values tawasuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), i’tidal (justice), and tawazun (balance) through discussions, interfaith collaborations, and community service. These activities cultivate tolerance by encouraging respect for differences, promoting peace, appreciating kindness, and fostering openness. Key supporting factors include high student participation, institutional support (facilities from the school foundation), and active management. Challenges include some students’ self-centered tendencies, administrative inefficiencies (e.g., unstructured licensing), and logistical issues such as water shortages. The study concludes that ROHIS effectively integrates ASWAJA values into students’ ethical frameworks, despite obstacles, by combining religious education with practical tolerance-building initiatives. This highlights the potential of school-based spiritual programs to address societal diversity while maintaining theological integrity. Recommendations include improving administrative coordination and addressing resource limitations to enhance program sustainability.

Abstract

Teaching numeracy in early childhood significantly influences cognitive and academic development. Insufficient numeracy stimulation during the golden age may lead to future difficulties in learning mathematics and long-term life challenges. Early childhood education serves as a bridge to introduce foundational numeracy skills, making it essential to implement effective teaching strategies. A play-based approach using educational game media is an effective solution for numeracy learning in children aged 5–6 years. This research and development study produced the Fun Mathematic Board, an educational board game designed to enhance early numeracy skills. The game's feasibility was evaluated by game experts, subject matter experts, and users. The validation results showed that material experts rated it 89.06%, while game experts gave it 98.44%. The feasibility test results confirmed the game's suitability without revision, with a 93.1% approval rating in small-group trials and 91.5% in large-group trials. These findings highlight the Fun Mathematic Board as an effective tool for early numeracy learning.
