Abstract

Program pendidikan yang diterapkan di Indonesia salah satunya adalah pendidikan karakter dengan tujuan untuk membentuk watak, moral dan perilaku siswa sesuai dengan nilai-nilai ataupun norma-norma yang menjadi ciri khas kultur bangsa Indonesia. Untuk itu perlu adanya penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan desain pendidikan karakter Islami melalui model keteladanan Rasulullah pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa desain pendidikan karakter Islami dilaksanakan dalam upaya mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai keteladanan Rasulullah melalui sifat wajib bagi rasul dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak, baik secara klasikal maupun kegiatan di luar kelas. Sifat tersebut adalah shidiq, amanah, tabligh, dan fathonah telah direncanakan sejak penyusunan visi, misi, dan tujuan madrasah. Evaluasi dilakukan secara menyeluruh meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik dengan sistem berjenjang mulai dari kegiatan Penilaian Harian, Penilaian Tengah Semester, Penilaian Akhir Tahun, dan Ujian Madrasah.

Abstract

This study explores the wasathiyyah paradigm, the concept of ummatan wasathan, and the balance within Islamic teachings in the context of Islamic education. It employs a library research method, drawing on relevant literature as the primary source. The findings indicate that the wasathiyyah and ummatan wasathan educational paradigm constitutes a framework comprising concepts, principles, values, theories, methods, and applications upheld by Muslim scholars, rooted in the ideals of moderation. This paradigm seeks to shape a moderate society by internalising wasathiyyah values through education. Islamic education based on this paradigm promotes religious balance between reason and revelation, text and context, worldly and spiritual orientation, divinity and humanity, individual and social life, body and soul, remembrance and reflection, and knowledge and action.

Abstract

Abortion as a practice of termination of pregnancy is not a foreign concept in our society. Abortion is a controversial issue because it is related to religion and health issues. The opinions of scholars of the fiqh madhhabs on abortion differ. Over twenty-two years, the Indonesian Ulema Council has made decisions on abortion. This shows that there are pretty complex issues in the practice of abortion. This research is a literature review that is descriptive-analytic. This literature research uses written sources, such as books and various other literature related to the reasoning of the MUI fatwa on abortion. The result of this research is that MUI uses the tarjih method in collecting and identifying the opinions of the scholars of mazhab in determining fatwa related to abortion.

Abstract

The tradition of memorising the Koran has become a necessity in Islamic boarding schools, so teachers have made many innovations to make memorising the Koran enjoyable. Therefore, this research aims to see the differences in student learning outcomes before and after using the Koran memorisation application and the influence of the Koran memorisation application on students' memorisation abilities. The subjects of this research were class VII students at the Al-Irsyad Bulaan Kamba Islamic Boarding School, Agam Regency. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique. This research is a pre-experimental research using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument that will be used in this research is a test. The data analysis technique used is the t-test, which uses the Paired Sample Test to calculate the N-Gain value. As for the Paired Sample Test calculation results on the overall student data, a significance value (Sig.) was obtained of 0.000, which means less/small than 0.05, and the N-Gain value was received with a score of 0.3656 in the medium category. This research showed that using the Koran memorisation application on Android improved students' ability to memorise the Koran.

Abstract

The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in digital technology is seen as a symbol of progress, convenience, and intelligence, but also perceived by some as a source of concern, anxiety, and fear. However, AI can be optimized to support human tasks, including developing learning media for Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Many AI tools are freely accessible, making them highly potential educational resources. This study aims to explore the potential of AI as a tool for developing learning media in the context of Islamic education. This research employs a library research approach, analyzing data through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal several AI-based tools suitable for developing learning media, including Google Sites, Quizizz, ChatGPT, and DALL-E 2. Google Sites can be used to create customizable, user-friendly educational websites. Quizizz is an interactive quiz platform, featuring real-time scoring and engagement tools. ChatGPT functions as a medium for brainstorming, providing feedback, and enhancing student learning, though its use requires proper guidance to avoid misuse. Lastly, DALL-E 2 can generate visual content based on textual descriptions. These four tools can be integrated within a single platform—Google Sites—to create a cohesive and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

Applying taklif to children's students is part of learning religious traditions (Islamic law), which aims to shape Islamic character from an early age. In implementing taklif, there are challenges, especially related to children's cognitive limitations in understanding abstract sharia laws such as mubah and makruh. In addition, traditional implementation methods are often ineffective in conveying the concept of taklif to children. This study aims to analyze the application of taklif to child santri by learning about religious traditions, identifying factors that influence their understanding, and evaluating the effectiveness of taklif learning methods applied in pesantren. Through a case study approach, this research collects data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to thoroughly understand the process of learning taklif as Sharia law in pesantren. The results showed that children more easily understand the obligatory and sunnah laws because they are concrete and often practiced in everyday life. In contrast, the laws of mubah and makruh are challenging to understand because they are more abstract. The pesantren environment, parental involvement, and learning methods such as short lectures, hands-on practice, and educational games are important in improving Santri's understanding. This research provides recommendations for pesantren to develop more adaptive and innovative learning methods for learning Taklif in children and additional insights for parents about the importance of traditionalizing an understanding of Islamic law early on in children.

Abstract

Islamic education, as a system that integrates scientific and religious aspects, plays a strategic role in nurturing the younger generation. This study aims to understand the dynamics of late adolescent development and to identify its implications for Islamic education approaches in the school environment. The research was conducted at SMK NU Buay Madang using a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that late adolescents face identity crises, the influence of social media, and complex moral dilemmas. Islamic education is therefore required to develop dialogical, contextual, and spiritual approaches to effectively support the process of personality and religious formation in students. This study recommends the importance of mentoring programs, moral reinforcement, and religious activities that are relevant to the realities of adolescents.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is often delivered dogmatically so that it is less able to instill religious values deeply in students. This study aims to examine the application of the humanistic approach in Islamic Education learning to build a more holistic and meaningful understanding of religion. The method employed is a literature study with a conceptual analysis approach to humanistic education Theory, particularly the thoughts of Carl Rogers and other notable figures. The results of the study demonstrate that the humanistic approach, which emphasizes personal experience, reflection, empathy, dialogue, and active student participation, can enhance understanding and appreciation of Islamic values. Support from educators, educational institutions, and curriculum policies is necessary to implement this approach systematically.
