Abstract

In the last decades, several environmental problems have increased. Therefore, many companies are currently paying attention to environmental issues. Attention is not only to the production process but to all activities including maintaining a green pattern in every construction activity. This research uses the Green Supply Chain Operation Reference method to evaluate the performance of green supply chain management in steel companies. This research aims to determine the factors that influence productivitylevels and improvement efforts by considering environmental performance indicators. The main activities that come out of the literature are: green operations, green design, green manufacturing, logistics flows, and waste management. The discussion also covers key drivers of green initiatives including government compliance, customer improvement and community relations. Innovations implemented in the future are able to result in business improvements for the Company through predetermined stages.

Abstract

In accordance with the provisions and regulations in Marpol 73/78 concerning regulations for preventing marine pollution. And Marpol 73/78 Annex III regarding burning oil and waste using a Waste Oil Incinerator, requires knowledge, ability and responsibility for handling it. This world is always developing in the field of waste processing, especially those originating from ships, generally from the Engine Room, so it is better for ships to be equipped with Waste Oil Incinerator, which is a tool commonly used to burn dirty oil and other rubbish and debris on ships that can be burned. Considering its very important role on ships, the Waste Oil Incinerator is very useful and is very important equipment in efforts to prevent pollution at sea. Therefore, maintenance of the Incinerator must be carried out. With routine maintenance and repairs and in accordance with correct maintenance planning, it will provide large economic benefits for the company and participate in preserving marine ecosystems and the marine environment. However, in its implementation, errors often occur which cause a decrease in the quality of the Waste Oil Incinerator, thus damaging the marine ecosystem due to several things as follows: 1) TheWaste Oil Incinerator does not work optimally 2) Lack of maintenance of the Main Burner Incinerator on board the ship 3) Lack of maintenance on the Waste Oil Incinerator 4) Operation of the Waste Oil Incinerator not in accordance with the instructions manual.

Abstract

Fishermen's lives are less prosperous, this is due to uncertain income and operational costs in shipping and ship maintenance. The aim of this research is to analyze the welfare of fishermen in Gempol Sewu Village, Kec. Rowosari, Kendal Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, with this qualitative method you can find out directly what things influence the income and welfare of fishermen by conducting interviews with fishermen in the Gempol Sewu area. The information in thisresearch is fishermen in Gempol Sewu Village who are represented by several fishermen in the area. Based on interviews and literature studies conducted, it can be concluded that the lack of welfare of fishermen is caused by several main factors. First of all, the cost of boat maintenance and safety while sailing are crucial factors that put financial pressure on fishermen. Efforts to ensure vessels remain in good condition andmaintain safety while sailing require significant investment, which may be difficult for most fishermen to afford. Concrete steps such as providing skills training programs, easy access to capital at low interest rates, and the formation of fishermen's cooperatives can be a solution to improve the welfare of fishermen and open up opportunities for them to develop businesses other than being fishermen. In this way, it is hoped that fishermen can have a more economically sustainable alternative and improve their overall standard of living.

Abstract

Welding has a very important role in engineering and metal production repairs. This is very reasonable because every construction can hardly be separated from metal which involves welding elements. Metal is widely used because it has several advantages, including being strong, rust-resistant, resistant to wear and tear and the raw materials are very economical. The development of technology and science has also had an impact on the increasing demand for metal connections of different types. Several industries that use joining by welding different types of metal include the transportation industry, car manufacturing, shipping and airplanes. One thing that can be done is connecting different types of metal which can be applied in the shipping industry. This research aims to determine the impact of variations in welding FCAW Grade A material 16 mm thick on ship deck insert plates. The use of Flux Core Arc Wellding (FCAW) is often found in the shipping industry. FCAW or what is usually called CO2 arc welding actually includes Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, only the protective gas is not only a noble gas such as Argon (Ar) but also CO2 gas or it could be a mixture of the two gases. The FCAW welding process is often used because the protective gas used is CO2 so it is suitable for use in welding steel construction. CO2 decomposes into CO and O2 when in contact with high temperatures. As a result of the high freezing speed, the CO gas produced is trapped in the metal which then forms cavities. Efforts are made to prevent this by providing a mixture of Si and Mn to the electrode so that no gas is trapped and no reaction occurs.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam setiap kegiatan industri, termasuk dalam industri perkapalan. Penerapan K3 yang baik tidak hanya melindungi pekerja dari risiko kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas perusahaan. Dalam konteks perbaikan atau docking kapal, penerapan K3 menjadi lebih krusial mengingat tingginya risiko yang terlibat. Ada pun tujuan dari judul tersebut Menilai Kepatuhan K3: Menilai apakah syarat-syarat K3 menurut UU No 1 Tahun 1970 telah terpenuhi dalam perbaikan docking kapal MT.SC Stephanie XVIII. Evaluasi Pelaksanaan K3: Mengevaluasi pelaksanaan syarat-syarat K3 menurut UU No 1 Tahun 1970 dalam perbaikan docking kapal MT.SC Stephanie XVIII. Perbandingan Penerapan K3: Membandingkan penerapan syarat-syarat K3 dalam perbaikan docking kapal MT.SC Stephanie XVII berdasarkan UU No 1 Tahun 1970. Metode yang digunakan kuantitatif adalah metode mengumpulkan, menafsirkan dan menampilkan data dengan menggunakan angka, tabel, grafik, gambar atau tampilan lainnya untuk memperkuat kedudukan data yang dianalisis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 18 syarat Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) yang dievaluasi selama perbaikan docking kapal MT.SC Stephanie XVIII, hanya 9 syarat yang terpenuhi dan dilaksanakan dengan baik, sementara 9 syarat lainnya tidak terpenuhi dan tidak terlaksana. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat keberhasilan penerapan syarat-syarat K3 mencapai 69,34%, sementara 30,66% syarat masih belum terlaksana. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar syarat K3 telah dipenuhi, masih terdapat banyak aspek yang memerlukan perbaikan dalam penerapan K3 selama proses perbaikan kapal tersebut.

Abstract

Pentingnya tanggung jawab Port State Control sangat memiliki peranan sangat besar karena keselamatan pelayaran adalah sudah menjadi tugasnya. Tindakan-tindakan yang di lakukannya adalah untuk meningkatkan pengawasan keamanan dan keselamatan terhadap hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan pelayaran. Tugas pengawasan yang di lakukan seorang Port State Control dalam rangka pengaturan sarana dan prasarana diatas kapal. Seorang Port State Control dalam tugasnya harus juga memastikan kesadaran untuk mentaati hukum dan ketentuan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Port State Control (PSC) adalah badan pengawasan negara pelabuhan (Port State) untuk menegakkan ketentuan-ketentuan konvensi yang berlaku di bidang keselamatan pelayaran dan perlindungan lingkungan laut serta perlindungan dan kondisi kerja awak kapal di laut dan juga melakukan pemeriksaan (survey), verifikasi (Verifications) dan sertifikasi (certifications) pada kapal asing (Foreign Ship). Hal pertama yang harus dilakukan Port State Control kepada foreign ship adalah melakukan pengecekan pada kapal dengan memeriksa dokumen/sertifikat yang ditandatangani oleh Kapten kapal. Adakalanya suatu kondisi kapal yang dijumpai banyak kekurangan-kekurangan (Deficiencies) dan tidak memenuhi standar dari ketentuan IMO. Sehingga Port State Control (PSC) memiliki wewenang untuk melakukan penahanan (Detentions).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efisiensi implementasi Inaportnet dalam penerbitan Surat Perstujuan Berlayar (SPB). Inaportnet, platform digital administrasi pelayaran, dirancang untuk mengatasi kendala operasional pelabuhan. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan perwakilan keagenan kapal dan KSOP, serta kuesioner kepada 30 responden keagenan kapal. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan efisiensi waktu dan proses penerbitan SPB pasca-implementasi Inaportnet di KSOP Kelas III Rangga Ilung. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui wawancara yang menunjukkan transisi dari proses manual yang tidak menentu menjadi digital dan stabil, serta uji Paired Sample T-test (thitung (7,87) > ttabel (2,05)), menolak H0. Kendala yang ditemukan meliputi kesalahan input data pengguna dan gangguan teknis sistem. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan pengembangan layanan, penyempurnaan infrastruktu, serta peningkatan kapasitas penggunadan petugas

Abstract

This research examines wage policies and career development opportunities which are thought to influence job satisfaction at the Shipping Company PT. X. The reason for this research was to find out whether salary is absolutely necessary in an organization/company, assuming this can motivate sailors at work. The next reason is whether there are career development opportunities that are also a consideration for seafarers to join the PT Shipping Company. X. These two factors will then be studied to determine their impact on job satisfaction at the Shipping Company PT. X. Questionnaires were given to 358 selected respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The results of the research concluded that wage policies and career development opportunities did not have a significant effect on job satisfaction at shipping company X.Keywords: Wage Policy, Career Development Opportunities, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Wind farm transportation installation vessel (WTIV) is a vessel specifically designed to install offshore wind turbines. Most are self-elevating jack up rigs. To enable rapid relocation at the wind farm, the power plan is self during the process fabrication block, a cracked weld defect was found visually in one of the butt weld joints. The amount of support resulting from calculating the influence of the load from the crane pedestal is 494 kpa in the deck plate area where cracks were found to be defective and this can influence the occurrence of cracks in the butt joint. Meanwhile, the maximum stress calculation that can be calculated due to the crane pedestal load is σ: 0.370 N/mm2 or σ: 370Mpa on the deck plate. Meanwhile the steps to repair the welding crack so that it doesn’t happen again, what must be done is by adding support under the deck crane pedestal, while is terms of welding repair that is by carrying out welding in accordance with the WPS and welding sequence.

Abstract

Pancasila as a value system has been rooted in the life of the Indonesian nation, but Pancasila is only used as an identity. However, it has never been manifested in the life of the nation and state, especially in the process of law enforcement. The research method used is normative juridical. The purpose of this study is to examine the Paradigm of Law Enforcement in Indonesia, analyze the implementation of Pancasila values ​​in current law enforcement, and to analyze the concept of Pancasila towards the practice of law enforcement in Indonesia. The weakness of law enforcement in Indonesia is caused by law enforcement officers who fail to interpret national law based on Pancasila values, such as honesty, transparency, and justice. The paradigm of law enforcement that is oriented towards the economy and power must be replaced with an approach that emphasizes morality, humanity, and social welfare in accordance with the principles of Pancasila. Reform is needed, especially in the mentality and integrity of law enforcement officers, as well as the eradication of the legal mafia that damages institutions such as the prosecutor's office and the police. Pancasila must be implemented in character formation and legal decisions to create social justice, legal justice, and legal protection for all Indonesian people, making it the basis for national development and better law enforcement.
