Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Investment Assets, Liquidity, and Firm Size on the health level of general insurance companies in Indonesia, proxied by Risk-Based Capital (RBC). The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of financial statements of general insurance companies for the 2020–2024 period. The research sample was obtained using the purposive sampling method, consisting of 20 general insurance companies in Indonesia. The data analysis method used was panel data regression with the assistance of the EViews 13 application. Based on the results of the panel data regression model selection, the best model identified was the Random Effect Model (REM). The results of the study indicate that, partially, Investment Assets and Firm Size do not have a significant effect on the health level of general insurance companies in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Liquidity has a positive and significant effect on the health level of insurance companies proxied by Risk-Based Capital (RBC). Simultaneously, Investment Assets, Liquidity, and Firm Size have a significant effect on the health level of general insurance companies in Indonesia. The findings of this study indicate that liquidity management is an important factor in maintaining the financial stability and solvency of insurance companies. Therefore, insurance companies need to maintain adequate asset liquidity and improve the effectiveness of investment management and risk control in order to sustain the company’s financial health.

Abstract

This paper discusses the application of SRIKANDI in facilitating the process of digitization of the archives in the Cirebon Regency Social Affairs Office. The study is qualitative in nature, and the methods of data collection include observation, interviews, and documents. The policy implementation analysis is based on the theory of G. Shabbir Cheema and Dennis A. Rondinelli, which focuses on environmental conditions, inter-organizational relationships, organizational resources, and the nature and ability of implementers. The results of the research indicate that the application of the SRIKANDI application is not yet optimal, as evidenced by the prevalence of traditional work culture, the lack of human resource competencies, and the insufficient motivation among employees to use the digital system. Although there is policy support and technological infrastructure, these have not been fully utilized. The Cirebon Regency Social Services Agency has undertaken several improvement activities, including training, internal coordination, and upgrading of infrastructure. This research focuses on maximizing the adoption of the SRIKANDI application by enhancing the capacity of officials and fostering a sustainable transformation of the work culture.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the persistence of behavioral issues among Grade IX students, particularly concerning discipline and attitudes toward teachers, as well as the learning process, which tended to be monotonous due to the predominant use of the lecture method. Therefore, an innovative instructional model such as Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is required to enhance student engagement and to cultivate the practice of praiseworthy morals. This study aims to describe the implementation of the PjBL model, to examine the condition of students’ behavior, and to determine the extent of the influence of the PjBL model on students’ behavior in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTs Darul Ihsan Anggana. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of percentage index analysis, as well as inferential statistical methods, including the Classical Assumption Tests, Simple Linear Regression Analysis, Partial Test (t-test), and the Coefficient of Determination Test, with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the PjBL model is categorized as “Very High,” with an average index score of 95.67%, and students’ behavior is also categorized as “Very High,” with an index score of 94.04%. Based on hypothesis testing, the calculated t-value of 7.057 is greater than the critical t-value of 2.013, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that there is a positive and statistically significant effect of the PjBL model on students’ behavior. The magnitude of this effect, as indicated by the coefficient of determination, is 50.9%, while the remaining 49.1% is influenced by other factors .

Abstract

Abstract

Transportation plays an essential role in supporting students’ mobility in accessing educational facilities, especially in urban areas with diverse transportation alternatives, such as Ambon City. Students at Campus B, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pattimura University, rely on various transportation modes, including public transportation, private vehicles, and online transportation services. This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing students’ transportation mode choices and to determine the probability of each transportation mode being selected. This research employed a quantitative approach using the stated preference method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 students and analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The variables examined included travel cost, travel time, safety, and comfort. The results showed that public transportation was the most frequently chosen mode, with a probability value of 43%, followed by private transportation at 36% and online transportation at 21%. The findings also indicated that travel cost, comfort, safety, and travel time significantly influenced transportation mode selection, both partially and simultaneously. Public transportation was preferred mainly because of its affordability, while comfort became the dominant factor in choosing private and online transportation. In conclusion, transportation mode selection among students is strongly influenced by economic and service-quality considerations, highlighting the importance of improving transportation accessibility and comfort for students in Ambon City.

Abstract

The operational activities of companies in sectors such as mining, industry, infrastructure, and energy frequently generate social, economic, and environmental impacts on surrounding communities. In many cases, conventional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are considered insufficient because they are often temporary, philanthropic, and not integrated into long-term business strategies. Therefore, the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV) has emerged as a strategic approach that combines business sustainability with the improvement of social welfare. This research aims to analyze the implementation of CSV in fulfilling human rights among communities affected by corporate operational activities and to examine the benefits of CSV for both society and companies. This study employed a qualitative library research method using secondary data obtained from laws and regulations, scientific journals, textbooks, and relevant scholarly publications. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis to interpret the relationship between CSV implementation, legal responsibility, and human rights fulfillment. The findings indicate that CSV is a conceptual development of CSR that positions social issues as strategic business opportunities rather than burdens. CSV contributes to economic empowerment, employment opportunities, education, social welfare, and the protection of cultural rights within affected communities. In addition, CSV provides benefits for companies through cost efficiency, productivity improvement, stronger stakeholder relations, and sustainable competitive advantage. In conclusion, CSV serves as an effective strategy to integrate corporate interests, social responsibility, and human rights fulfillment into sustainable business practices.

Abstract

Due to their direct connection to the realisation of citizens' administrative rights, population administration services are an essential component of public services. Advances in information technology are driving the digitalisation of village-level service systems. This study aims to identify the variables that influence the responsiveness of Pegagan Kidul Village officials in delivering population administration services during digital transformation. The study employs a qualitative methodology encompassing interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with village officials and service users serving as informants. The results indicate that the village officials' responsiveness is generally satisfactory, as demonstrated by their prompt follow-up on requests and assistance with document processing. However, service delivery remains primarily reactive, as information dissemination is not yet proactive. Additionally, the village website and online communication platforms are not yet being utilised to their full potential. Service responsiveness is further affected by systemic limitations within relevant agencies, restricted technology use, and the public's limited comprehension of digital services. It is therefore recommended that capacity building for officials, improved inter-agency coordination, and more extensive public outreach be pursued in order to ensure that service quality can be improved in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Excessive gadget use in early childhood has become an increasing concern because it may interfere with children's emotional regulation and communication development. This study aimed to examine the relationship between gadget use and children's emotional development and communication skills at PAUD Melati Indah and PAUD Bunda Sayang Amanda in Jambi, while also reviewing the findings from an Islamic perspective. This research used an analytical descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach involving 102 children aged 3–5 years. Data on gadget use and emotional development were collected through parent questionnaires, while children's communication skills were assessed using the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT). The data were analyzed using univariate analysis and chi-square tests. The results showed that 56% of children had high-intensity gadget use, 77% experienced emotional problems, and 56% had low communication skills. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant relationship between gadget use and emotional development (p = 0.001), as well as between gadget use and communication skills (p = 0.001). These findings indicate that excessive gadget exposure may contribute to emotional and communication difficulties in early childhood. From an Islamic perspective, gadget use is permissible when beneficial, but must be limited and supervised to prevent harm. Therefore, parents and educators should strengthen guidance, direct interaction, and balanced digital use.
