Abstract

This study examines the adaptation of educator standards policies for kitab kuning teachers at Darussalim Bati-Bati Islamic Boarding School, Tanah Laut Regency. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving five key informants. The findings indicate that the pesantren adapts educator standards by integrating formal academic qualifications with Salafiyah scholarly competencies. This adaptation is reflected in the gradual upgrading of educators’ academic qualifications to the bachelor’s degree (S1) level while maintaining scholarly competence, moral character, and pesantren experience as essential requirements. Recruitment, evaluation, and professional development are implemented through competency-based management, continuous training, and supervision. Major challenges include educator shortages, administrative demands, and efforts to preserve Salafiyah identity amid educational standardization. The study concludes that national education standards and the Salafiyah scholarly tradition can be integrated within an adaptive and sustainable pesantren management system.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development strategy of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nukuhai Village through the strengthening of digital financial literacy. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach supported by field observation, semi-structured interviews with MSME actors and village stakeholders, participatory problem mapping, and document review. The findings show that MSME development in Nukuhai is constrained by limited financial recordkeeping, weak separation between household and business finance, low familiarity with digital payment instruments, limited product standardization, and uneven access to digital marketing infrastructure. Digitalization therefore cannot be treated merely as the use of social media or online platforms; it must be preceded by basic financial literacy, simple bookkeeping, secure transaction behavior, product improvement, and collective marketing support. The study proposes a gradual village-based strategy that integrates financial recording, QRIS adoption, digital promotion, packaging improvement, cooperative logistics, and actor-based implementation support. These findings contribute to rural MSME studies by emphasizing the importance of context-sensitive digital capacity building in archipelagic villages.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the challenges faced by teachers in teaching basic English literacy through the Montessori method in multicultural and inclusive classroom. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used in this study. This research was conducted at Singaraja Montessori School and in the Octopus class. Two teachers who teach in the Octopus class were participants in this study. Research data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Based on data obtained from two purposively selected teachers who were directly responsible for teaching basic English literacy in the Octopus class, the findings of this study indicate three challenges faced by teachers when teaching basic English literacy through the Montessori method. First, the challenge of differences in student literacy levels because the Octopus class consists of grades 1-3 and a diverse student body. Second, the challenge of accommodating students with special needs, especially in providing individual support, simple instructions, and visual aids while maintaining a conducive classroom environment. Third, the difficulty in developing flexible lesson guides to respond to the various differences that exist in students. This research shows that teaching basic English literacy through the Montessori method in multicultural and inclusive classroom requires continuous observation, flexible planning, and balanced support to ensure all students can participate without exception and according to their individual abilities.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the 7P marketing mix at Mitra Dhuafa Cooperative (KOMIDA), Cikalong Wetan Branch, and its role in improving membership growth and member loyalty. A qualitative case study approach was employed using observations, semi-structured interviews with five key informants, and document analysis. Data were validated through source and method triangulation and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that people, process, and promotion are the most influential marketing mix elements affecting member loyalty and membership growth. Strong interpersonal relationships between field officers and members foster emotional loyalty, while limitations in service processes and digital promotion constrain organizational competitiveness. The study concludes that integrating all seven marketing mix elements with digital transformation is essential for strengthening member loyalty, attracting new members, and enhancing the long-term sustainability of microfinance cooperatives.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to higher education, particularly in supporting student learning processes. This study aims to analyze the role of AI as a learning partner for students, examine its contribution to academic creativity, and identify the opportunities and challenges associated with maintaining academic integrity. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing relevant journals, books, and scientific sources. The findings indicate that AI assists students in accessing information quickly, understanding learning materials, generating ideas, and improving learning effectiveness and efficiency. Furthermore, AI contributes to the development of academic creativity by providing diverse perspectives and supporting idea exploration processes. However, the use of AI also presents challenges, including the risks of plagiarism, technological dependency, and reduced critical thinking skills when used irresponsibly. Therefore, AI should be utilized ethically and responsibly as a supportive tool that enhances learning without replacing students' intellectual roles. This study highlights the importance of balancing technological utilization with the principles of academic integrity in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the theoretical foundations of Arabic language learning within the framework of language teaching methods (Thuruq Tadris al-Lughah). The research employs a qualitative approach through library research, with data collected from relevant books and scholarly articles and analyzed using content analysis techniques. Through the processes of coding, categorizing, and synthesizing recurring themes across the selected literature, three major theoretical foundations of Arabic language learning were identified: philosophical, linguistic, and psychological. The philosophical foundation directs educational objectives toward the development of communicative competence as well as the cultivation of cultural and religious values. The linguistic foundation emphasizes the importance of understanding the phonological, morphological, and syntactic structures of the Arabic language. Meanwhile, the psychological foundation focuses on the application of learning theories, such as behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism, in the selection of instructional strategies. The study concludes that the integration of these three foundations contributes to the development of more effective and contextualized approaches to Arabic language teaching.

Abstract

Digital literacy has become an essential competency for university students in the digital economy era. This study aims to examine the role of digital literacy in developing the entrepreneurial mindset of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students. The study employed a literature review approach by analyzing scholarly journals, research articles, and other relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that digital literacy contributes to enhancing students’ entrepreneurial interest, creativity, innovation, adaptability, and readiness to engage in entrepreneurial activities. It also supports the development of entrepreneurial characteristics, including self-confidence, problem-solving skills, and risk-taking ability. Furthermore, students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education have various entrepreneurial opportunities in the digital economy, such as content creation, copywriting, editing services, online tutoring, and social media management. Digital platforms also facilitate business promotion, communication, and marketing. Therefore, strengthening digital literacy is essential for fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and preparing students to become creative, adaptive, and competitive individuals in the digital economy era.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a field of study that connects mathematical concepts with cultural practices and has the potential to serve as a contextual approach to learning. Traditional musical instruments, as cultural heritage, embody various mathematical concepts that can enrich educational practices. This study aims to identify and analyze ethnomathematical concepts embedded in traditional musical instruments through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Following the established inclusion criteria, 11 scholarly articles were selected and synthesized. The findings show that geometric concepts, particularly circles, cylinders, and cones, are the most frequently identified in the structures of traditional musical instruments. Other concepts include arithmetic sequences, number patterns, mathematical modeling, and mathematical relationships reflected in rhythmic patterns. These findings indicate that traditional musical instruments contain diverse mathematical structures with strong potential for contextual and meaningful mathematics learning. However, most existing studies remain exploratory and descriptive. This review provides a comprehensive synthesis of ethnomathematical concepts in traditional musical instruments while highlighting opportunities for future research on their effectiveness in mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Sharia digital marketing on halal product purchase decisions among Generation Z in North Binjai District, Binjai City. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed in this research. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 66 Generation Z respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings indicate that Sharia digital marketing has a positive relationship with halal product purchase decisions. The implementation of Sharia principles in digital marketing activities, including honesty, transparency, and ethical promotional practices, enhances consumer trust in selecting halal products. These findings suggest that digital marketing strategies based on Islamic principles can serve as an important factor in encouraging halal product purchasing decisions among Generation Z. This study provides practical implications for halal business actors to optimize digital media utilization while maintaining Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of service quality and price on consumer loyalty at Harmony Hairstyle Stabat. The increasingly competitive barbering service business requires service providers to maintain consumer loyalty through appropriate service strategies and pricing. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all consumers of Harmony Hairstyle Stabat, with a sample size of 70 respondents taken using the Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression method through SPSS software. The results of the research partially (t-test) show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, and price has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. Simultaneously (F-test), service quality and price have a significant effect on consumer loyalty at Harmony Hairstyle Stabat. The coefficient of determination value indicates that consumer loyalty is strongly influenced by both variables, while the rest is explained by other factors outside of this study.
