Abstract

The Quran education in early childhood is an integral part of an achievement aiming to develop potential in children. Innovative game-based approaches have been introduced to improve the effectiveness of Quran learning, one of which is through puzzle-based games. The author tries to analyze the strategies applied in integrating gaming technology into the context of learning the Koran. A qualitative study is likely sufficient to identify improvements in children's participation and learning results in memorizing the Quran. Hopefully, puzzle-based game learning technology can develop and improve children's enthusiasm and focus while memorizing the Quran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop tajwid teaching materials, especially the law of qalqalah at TPQ al-Manaar located in Mendungan, Pabelan, Sukoharjo. This study began with analyzing the problems faced by students related to learning the Qur'an. The research and development process uses the ADDIE method (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The study's subjects were five students involved in the implementation or trial process. The research data were obtained by observing the students involved. The results of this study received a percentage of 75.7%, indicating that the song product containing the material of the law of qalqalah has met the criteria of valid, interesting, and effective. So, it can be concluded that the song containing the material of the law of qalqalah is suitable for use in tajwid learning for children at TPQ al-Manaar, Mendungan, Pabelan, Sukoharjo.

Abstract

The observations and interviews conducted at SDN Harapan found that the teaching materials for memorizing the Qur'an in elementary schools, in general, have not produced a strong long-term memorization quality in students who memorize the Qur'an. This research aims to develop teaching materials for memorizing the Qur'an based on reasonable, practical, and effective stories. This type of research is research and development. The development model used is the Plomp model, which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Practicality test data was obtained from the results of observation analysis of learning implementation, which was used in this study, which was quantitative descriptive data analysis and qualitative descriptive data analysis. The research data collection instruments are a validation questionnaire for media and material experts, a questionnaire on the practicality of teacher and student responses, and a test in the form of a post-test. The post-test results obtained a score percentage of 80% and met the effective criteria. It can be concluded that the "QAF" teaching material based on the story developed meets the practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ecological perspective of the Qur'an in the context of wildlife and biodiversity protection through the approach of the Qur'an study. This study identifies ecological values and teachings that encourage human responsibility towards nature. The research method involves analyzing the text of the Qur'an related to the environment, wildlife, and biodiversity, focusing on concepts such as Khalifah (guardian of the earth) and Amanah (responsibility). This study also uses a semantic approach that is useful in analyzing the verses of the Qur'an on ecology. The study results indicate that the Qur'an contains values that support the protection and preservation of wildlife and biodiversity. The implications of these findings can provide a basis for developing environmental protection strategies rooted in Islamic values. This study is expected to better understand the relationship between religious teachings and biodiversity, lead to ecological awareness in everyday religious practices, and provide a basis for advocacy for nature conservation based on Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the causality between the exchange rate for farmers, the consumer price index for food, and inflation in five major cities in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) bounds testing and Toda-Yamamoto causality procedures are employed for analyzing monthly data from January 2015 to July 2022, allowing for the examination of both short-term and long-term effects. The empirical findings indicate a long-run equilibrium between the variables. The results reveal that in both the short run and long run, a 1% change in food prices results in approximately a 100% increase in the farmers' exchange rate. However, the Toda-Yamamoto causality test reveals that, except for a unidirectional causality relationship from the farmers' exchange rate to inflation in the food consumer price index, there is no significant causal relationship between the variables in the studied period and cities. This research contributes new insights into the interplay between inflation and the exchange rate for farmers, particularly in regions where agriculture is the primary source of income.

Abstract

As Muslims, we make the Qur'an a guideline for life. The Qur'an also discusses morals or good manners for visiting other people's homes. The reason is that many people today do not understand the etiquette of visiting properly. In Islamic teachings, Surah An-Nur verses 58-61 provide ethical guidelines in social and household interactions. These verses emphasize the importance of manners when entering a house, dressing modestly, and maintaining privacy in social interactions. This study aims to analyze the ethical values contained in the interpretation of Surah An-Nur verses 58-61 related to household interactions according to various scholars and commentators. This study analyzes classical and contemporary interpretations that explain these verses. Various interpretations, such as Ibn Kathir, al-Jalalain, and others, are used to understand the context, meaning, and practical application of the ethical values contained in these verses. Verse 58 emphasizes the manners of entering a house and upholding privacy. Verse 59 discusses the importance of dressing modestly to maintain purity and respect oneself. Verses 60 and 61 highlight the prohibitions on privacy and emphasize that these rules are instructions from Allah to regulate human relationships in a dignified manner. This study illustrates the importance of ethics in household relationships, highlighting the values contained in Surah An-Nur verses 58-61 and their relevance in social and family life.

Abstract

Religion is often marked by gender inequality. Gender equality has always been controversial, especially in explaining, interpreting, and determining the law between women and men. This study aims to determine the interpretation of Surah an-Nisa': 34 according to classical and contemporary interpreters At-Thabari and Buya Hamka to find similarities and differences in the interpretations of At-Thabari and Buya Hamka, and to determine the relevance of gender equality in the perspective of Surah an-Nisa': 34. This type of research uses library research. Then, the data was analyzed using a comparative descriptive method, carried out using analysis techniques and comparisons, and the validity of the data was checked to obtain research results following the objectives. The results of this study indicate that At-Thabari and Buya Hamka's thoughts on gender equality have similarities in interpreting Surah an-Nisa': 34 regarding the authority of men over women, and there are differences in thinking based on Surah An-Nisa: 34 regarding the interpretation view. Differences in time, conditions, situations, and civilizations that influence it. Based on this study, it can also be concluded that the surah an-Nisa': 34 emphasizes that Islam, on several occasions, elevates the position of men over women. Gender equality is part of Islamic values that apply universally.
