Abstract

Working at height is an activity or activity carried out by workers at a workplace on the surface of land or water where there is a height difference and has the potential to fall which could cause the worker or other people in the workplace to experience injury or death. Work accidents involving heights resulted in the deaths of 2.78 million workers per year in 2018. This research aims to look at the relationship between the independent variables (age, education, knowledge, attitudes, availability of PPE) and the dependent variable (the behavior of using PPE among workers in height). PT TAISEI-CSC JO Savyavasa Luxury Apartment Project. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 120 respondents. Analysis was carried out bivariate using the chi-square test. A total of 77 (64.2) workers behaved badly. The results showed that there was a relationship between education (p=0.000), knowledge (0.000), and age (0.016). Suggestions for workers to further increase discipline in complying with applicable regulations. For the company to further improve K3 socialization.

Abstract

Stunting is a form of growth and developmental failure that causes linear growth disorders in toddlers due to the accumulation of nutritional deficiencies over a long period, starting from pregnancy to 24 months of age. The problem of malnutrition in Indonesia is a health issue that has not been fully addressed by the government. This can be seen from survey and research data such as the Basic Health Research (2018), which states that the prevalence of stunting (very short) in Indonesia is 19.3%, higher than in 2013 (19.2%) and 2007 (18%). Although many stunting prevention programs have been implemented by various parties and the health sector, these efforts have not effectively reduced the target number of stunting cases at the national level, posing a challenge for the health sector in preventing stunting cases. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative study design, where researchers aim to assess the effectiveness of the stunting prevention program in the working area of Baja Tangerang Health Center with three informants. Data collection techniques include interviewing related parties, observation, and documentation, with data analyzed by combining information from various existing sources. Health Center Baja has handled 2 children with malnutrition and 7 children with stunting. The results indicate that preventive measures must continue to be improved by meeting nutritional needs during pregnancy, monitoring child growth and development, and maintaining environmental hygiene. Integrated and multisectoral programs are needed to increase family income and prevent premature births (babies born not full term) to overcome the incidence of stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

Compared to a few decades ago, puberty now happens earlier, and the frequency of sexual assault is rising wildly. The purpose of this study is to examine how puberty education affects high-grade elementary school students' awareness of sexual assault prevention. With a facilitator in each class, the research design employs a quasi-experimental format of concurrent lectures and conversations lasting 60 minutes. 22 fourth-graders, 31 fifth-graders, and 31 sixth-graders make up the participants. Ten true-false questions from a pre-and post-test were used to gauge knowledge. The T-test was utilized in data analysis. The understanding of high school students significantly increased (P value 0.0001). All class discussions showed an exceptionally lively exchange of thoughts, and several students were particularly aggressive and engaged in raising issues of psychological (the recognition and control of emotions) and social (interpersonal connections and communication) interest. Continuous education is important, along with teaching strategies that are not the same as pedagogy or andragogy but rather suitable for the typical characteristics of adolescents.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failed growth in children characterized by significantly short stature relative to their age. Stunting occurs due to inadequate and unbalanced nutrient intake, and it can be influenced by other factors such as illness, poor sanitation, limited access to clean water, and an environment that does not support optimal child growth. The purpose of this study was to know the factors associated with the occurrence of stunting for children aged 12-35 months in the DIY Province. This study is a further analysis of the 2021 Indonesian Nutritional Status Study data for the Province of DIY. The design of the research was stratified two-stage sampling. Stunting data collection was carried out through interviews with parents of children using a questionnaire and measuring the height of the children by local enumerators. Bivariate analysis to know the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Meanwhile, to know the factors associated with the occurrence of stunting in children, a multivariate analysis was carried out. The result showed that there wasa significant relationship between stunting with the age of mothers, difficulty transportation to healthcare, monitoring and development of children, and the mother receiving nutritional counseling, p-value≤ 0.05. Age of children, gender of children, place of residence, education of mothers, and occupation of mothers, had no significant association with the occurrence of stunting, p-value> 0.05. The factors associated with the occurrence of stunting for the children were the age of mothers, difficulty transportation to healthcare, monitoring, and development of children, and the mother receiving nutritional counseling. It is necessary to increase the role of posyandu as a forum that helps the government to improve public health, in this case reducing stunting rates in toddler.

Abstract

Dehydration is a common side effect of diarrhea, which can have major repercussions if left untreated. When it comes to nutrition and health, toddlers are a particularly sensitive age group. Diarrhea is common in the residential area next to the landfill because of contaminated water sources and inadequate sanitation. This study used a cross-sectional, quantitative research methodology to identify the risk factors for diarrhea in children aged 12 to 59 months at the Ciketing Udik Health Center in Bekasi City in 2022. moms of toddlers in Pomegranate Posyandu 1–5 at the Ciketing Udik Health Center in Bekasi City comprised the study's population, and there were 98 moms in all. This was obtained by the use of stratified sampling. The findings demonstrated that maternal knowledge P-value (0.001), hand washing behavior P-value (0.013), mother's habit of purchasing food outside P-value (0.046), and compliance with zinc tablet administration P-value (0.016) were the factors most significantly linked to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers aged 1–5 years at Puskesmas Ciketing Udik Bekasi City. These findings suggest that the occurrence of diarrhea in toddlers is correlated with maternal education, hand-washing practices, eating-out behaviors, and adherence to zinc tablet delivery. In order to prevent diarrhea, moms of young children might take precautions as soon as feasible.

Abstract

An indication of effective management is job satisfaction, which is correlated with an individual's sentiments and attitudes regarding the job, pay, possibilities for advancement or education, coworkers, workload, and supervision. According to earlier studies, nurses in RSU Tangerang Selatan’s inpatient installation were influenced by their productive workload by 86.9% to 90.31 percent. Finding the relationship between the variables influencing nurses' job satisfaction in inpatient installations at RSU Tangerang Selatan in 2023 is the aim of this study. A cross-sectional design will be used for this investigation, which will be carried out in April 2023. A total of 59 respondents were used in the sampling process. The chi-square test was used to do the bivariate analysis. 52.5% of nurses believe that the pay structure is bad, 78% believe that training is bad, and 35.6% believe that promotions are bad. The bivariate test results indicated a correlation between pay and promotion (P = 0.014), work satisfaction, and compensation (P = 0.003). training (P = 0.403), indicating that there is no correlation between training and current satisfaction. According to the study, several factors might influence nurses' job satisfaction. Pay and promotions have a strong correlation with job satisfaction, which may raise concerns for the hospital. Hospitals are advised to focus more on the promotion and compensation structure.
