Abstract

The integrative learning approach at SD Wahdah Islamic School 03 Makassar combines several disciplines, such as Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and science, to provide students with a holistic understanding relevant to everyday life. This research is qualitative in nature, utilizing a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique involves data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity is checked through source and method triangulation. The research findings indicate that (1) The planning of integrative learning between science and the Qur'an at SD Wahdah Islamic School 03 Makassar begins with work meetings and the preparation of teaching materials. This planning is grounded in theoretical, philosophical, legal, and Islamic educational foundations, providing a strong basis for its implementation. (2) The integrative learning of science and the Qur'an at SD Wahdah Islamic School 03 Makassar is conducted with a balanced time allocation between religious and scientific subjects. (3) The evaluation of integrative learning between science and the Qur'an is carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze the teacher's efforts in instilling student discipline and independence at MA Bustanul 'Ulum Jayasakti. This research is motivated by the problem of low levels of student discipline and independence which is a challenge for teachers in shaping student character in a pesantren environment. A qualitative approach with the type of field research was chosen because it allows in-depth exploration of social phenomena that cannot be quantified, including processes, events, and authenticity of data. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively to understand the patterns and strategies applied by teachers in shaping students' disciplinary and independent characters. The findings show that teachers play a central role through the implementation of clear rules, rewards and sanctions, individual guidance, and active communication with parents. Restorative approaches and character education are also applied to help students understand and correct mistakes. This research contributes to understanding character education strategies in pesantren-based educational institutions and provides recommendations for the development of more comprehensive learning models. The findings are relevant to support improving the quality of character education in the modern era.

Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis of Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 13 Semarang, exploring their role in shaping students' religious character, tolerance, and social harmony. The main purpose of this article is to evaluate how these extracurricular activities contribute to the internalization of religious moderation, particularly in a pluralistic society like Indonesia. The research is motivated by the growing importance of fostering tolerance and preventing radicalism through educational programs. The study employs qualitative methods, including observation, interviews with teachers, and document analysis of extracurricular activities. The hypothesis is that Islamic spiritual extracurriculars enhance students' religious understanding and promote interfaith cooperation. The findings reveal that activities such as weekly religious studies (ta‘lim/kiss), community services like mosque cleaning, and interfaith charity work significantly improve students' understanding of moderation, tolerance, and social responsibility. Furthermore, these activities contribute to a positive school culture that strengthens unity among students of different religious backgrounds. This research contributes to the broader field of education by demonstrating how extracurricular programs can be effectively used to promote religious moderation and prevent radicalization. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the vital role of extracurricular activities in fostering a balanced and tolerant mindset among students, making a significant contribution to peace-building and social harmony in schools.

Abstract

Fasting is an obligatory act of worship for Muslims that not only has spiritual value but also has various benefits for physical and mental health. This study examines the benefits of fasting from an Islamic and health perspective, using a qualitative approach. We collected data through a literature review and in-depth interviews with religious and health experts. The results showed that fasting can improve physical health by regulating diet, resting the digestive system, and improving metabolism. In terms of mental health, fasting strengthens mental resilience, improves self-control, and reduces stress, which has a positive impact on emotional and spiritual balance. These benefits not only include the prevention of diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and digestive disorders but also include holistic improvements in quality of life. Researchers should investigate the advantages of fasting on days other than Ramadan, like Monday-Thursday fasting or Davidic fasting. This may provide additional insight into the effects of fasting over the long term and different routines.

Abstract

Islamic education faces complex challenges in the digital and globalized era, requiring approaches that integrate traditional values with contemporary needs. This study aims to describe, critique, and propose implications for implementing multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approaches in Islamic education. A qualitative literature review method was employed to explore the integration of various disciplines into the Islamic education curriculum, with content analysis applied for data analysis. Findings indicate that these approaches can enrich the understanding and relevance of Islamic education by facilitating a more comprehensive and adaptive understanding of contemporary changes. However, challenges such as a lack of educator training and resistance to change need to be addressed to maximize the potential of these approaches. Regular evaluation and collaborative support among academics, practitioners, and policymakers are necessary to ensure the successful implementation and relevance of the curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of the SIAPIK Financial Application in improving the quality of bookkeeping for MSMEs in the Bregas community (Brebes, Tegal, and Slawi). SIAPIK is a financial information recording application designed to assist micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in maintaining accurate and standardized bookkeeping according to standards set by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). The recording system used is recognized by various financial institutions in Indonesia, allowing the financial reports produced to serve as a basis for credit applications. This study involved 40 MSMEs who are members of the Bregas community. Through the implementation and assistance activities conducted on February-Juni, 2024, at the PMI Building in Tegal Regency, Central Java, this research evaluates the extent to which MSMEs can implement the SIAPIK application in their business transactions. Furthermore, this study assesses the impact of the application on improving the accountability and transparency of MSME financial reports, as well as its potential to facilitate access to financing from financial institutions. The results indicate that the implementation of the SIAPIK application was met with high enthusiasm from participants, with the majority of MSMEs successfully improving the quality of their bookkeeping.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' managerial skills on teachers' work commitment in vocational high schools (SMK) accredited with a "B" in Pamijahan District, Bogor. The research is quantitative in nature, using a survey method conducted through interviews, documentation, and the distribution of questionnaires to 56 respondents, who are teachers in these schools. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a total sampling approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires that included indicators of managerial skills and teachers' work commitment. The collected data were then analyzed using simple linear regression to test the impact of managerial skills on teachers' work commitment. The results of the study indicate that the school principals' managerial skills have a positive and significant influence on teachers' work commitment. The regression analysis resulted in the equation Y = 40.441 + 0.582X, with a t-value of 5.382, which is greater than the t-table value (2.395), and a p-value of 0.000, which is smaller than α = 0.01, indicating a significant effect of managerial skills on teachers' work commitment. Based on these findings, it is recommended that school principals develop their managerial skills, particularly in planning, organizing, and effective communication, to enhance teachers' work commitment. Furthermore, it is suggested that the local education office provide further training for school principals in managerial skills to create a more conducive work environment for teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents and educators in the formation of Islamic character in early childhood by reviewing the implementation of the Al-Quran-based curriculum. The main focus of this study is to identify effective strategies that can be optimized in instilling Islamic values ​​in children from an early age, both in the family environment and in educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through literature studies, interviews with parents and educators, and observations of the implementation of Islamic character education in several Islamic-based early childhood education institutions. The results of the study indicate that parents have a major role in forming children's Islamic character through role models, Islamic parenting patterns, effective communication, and the habituation of Islamic values ​​in everyday life. Meanwhile, educators play a role in integrating Islamic values ​​into the curriculum, creating an Islamic educational environment, and using learning methods based on Islamic values ​​that are in accordance with child development. Supporting factors in the formation of Islamic character include a religious family environment, a structured Islamic education curriculum, and a community that supports the development of Islamic values. However, this study also found several obstacles, such as lack of parental attention due to busyness, negative influence of media and socializing, and limited educators who understand the concept of Islamic education in depth. This study concludes that there is a need to increase awareness and involvement of parents in children's education through strengthening the curriculum based on the Qur'an, as well as creating a conducive learning environment so that children can grow into individuals who have noble morals and are able to face the challenges of the times based on Islamic values

Abstract

Moral education has an important role in building the nation's morals, especially in the perspective of Islamic education. Hasan Al-Banna's thoughts on moral education emphasize the importance of character building based on Islamic values to create quality human resources. This article aims to examine the concept of moral education according to Hasan Al-Banna and how it is implemented in building the nation's morals. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study show that moral education must be an integral part of the education system in order to produce individuals with character and noble character. The conclusion of this study confirms that moral education based on Islam can be a solution in facing moral challenges in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This research aims to identify how product quality and consumer behavior can influence purchasing decisions for Ranti products, as well as how the two interact in the local market context. The research subjects consisted of consumers of Ranti products who live in Depok, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach using surveys as a data collection tool.  The collected data was analyzed using regression analysis techniques to measure the influence between product quality variables, consumer behavior and purchasing decisions. The research results show that product quality has a positive influence on purchasing decisions, while consumer behavior which is influenced by social and psychological factors also has a significant influence. In addition, there is a mutually reinforcing relationship between product quality and consumer behavior in influencing purchasing decisions. This shows the importance of integration between product quality and understanding consumer behavior to design more effective marketing strategies and contributes to marketing theory by integrating two important factors in purchasing decisions in local markets, namely product quality and consumer behavior. These findings are also useful for producers in designing marketing strategies that can attract more consumers and increase the competitiveness of Ranti products in the market.
