Abstract

This research aims to improve children's reading skills at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darul Muttaqin. The method used in this research is collaborative classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model through three stages, namely planning, implementation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 23 second grade students at MI Darul Muttaqin, Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency. The data collection methods used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively. The success indicator set is a minimum of 75% of the total number of second grade students. This research was conducted in two cycles using letter card media. In the pre-cycle implementation, the score was 45.76%, in cycle 1 the score increased to 52.72%, and in cycle 2 it improved with a percentage of 79.13%. The results of the research showed that the initial reading skills of second grade students improved after carrying out two action cycles using letter cards as media, which was observed in the aspects of language, knowledge, language awareness and cognitive skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine teachers' skills in managing classes in mathematics learning in driving schools and analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. The research object consisted of key informants, namely the school principal and specialist informants, namely teachers and class V students at SDN Cimayang 01, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using triangulation. The results of the research show that teachers at SDN Cimayang 01 already understand the techniques for managing the class, this can be seen from the teacher's skills in conditioning the class, responsiveness, giving even attention, skilled at providing instructions and goals, skilled at giving reprimands, and skilled at providing reinforcement. The teacher's skills are also a supporting factor for the teacher's success in managing the class. Meanwhile, the obstacles for teachers in managing classes in mathematics are the curriculum system which is always changing, the limitations of teachers in mastering learning using the Independent Curriculum, factors from the students themselves, as well as the availability of facilities and infrastructure owned by the school.

Abstract

Teacher teaching performance is the result of the teacher's work carried out during the learning process which includes planning, implementation and evaluation of learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-efficacy on teacher teaching performance. This research used a quantitative approach with an associative method involving 54 high school teachers in Tenjolaya District as respondents who were taken using non-probability sampling with a saturated sample. Data is collected primarily using a closed questionnaire or questionnaire using a Likert scale with 5 answer options (SL, SR, KD, P, TP), then the data is processed using inferential statistikal techniques which include classic assumption tests and hypothesis testing to determine the influence and how big it is. The influence of teacher teaching performance variables on self-efficacy variables. The research results show that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on the teaching performance of high school teachers in Tenjolaya District with a contribution of 43.5%. This means that teacher teaching performance can be improved through self-efficacy.

Abstract

This research was motivated by fluctuations in CAR and LDR every year at Bank Jabar Banten for the 2018-2022 period, causing NIM to fluctuate. This research aims to find out how CAR and LDR influence NIM, both partially and simultaneously. The research objects in this report are CAR, LDR and NIM contained in financial reports. The type of research is quantitative with an associative approach. The type of data used is secondary data and uses data collection techniques through documentation and literature study. Meanwhile, the sampling technique is non-probability sampling, with a population of all quarterly financial reports. The research results show that there is an influence of CAR on NIM with the results of the t test where the value of tcount > ttable (2.720 > 1.73406), there is no significant influence of LDR on NIM with the results of the t test where the value of tcount < ttable (0.653 < 1.73406). Meanwhile, CAR and LDR simultaneously influence NIM. This is indicated by the value Fcount > Ftable (10.58 > 3.59), with an R Square of 0.3025 (30.25%), which means the NIM variable can be explained by the CAR and LDR variables of 30.25%.

Abstract

This study analyzes the concept of leadership and decision making of the headmaster of MTs. Darul Ihya Ciomas by using qualitative methods and interview approaches as techniques in data collection. The results obtained from this study indicate that the headmaster of MTs. Darul Ihya Ciomas has a unique and servant leadership type that focuses on protection and tends to prioritize the needs and interests of school community. In the decision-making process, the headmaster always consistently uses the family principle and mutual cooperation in order to create an inclusive and collaborative environment. These principles not only increase the sense of belonging and full responsibility among educators and education personnel but involve a more comprehensive collaboration for the achievement of effective and efficient educational goals.

Abstract

This study explores the significant decline in the human rights situation in Papua since 2018, marked by increased conflict and human rights violations by security forces. The research aims to understand the complexity of this phenomenon and identify potential solutions. A qualitative method was used, with descriptive data from previous studies, human rights reports, and official documents. The findings indicate that the conflict has led to killings, enforced disappearances, and torture, with existing law enforcement efforts proving unsatisfactory. The discussion reveals that the conflict also impacts education, health, and natural resource management, exacerbating poverty and hindering sustainable development. The study concludes that legal reform and a more sensitive approach to the local context are necessary to address human rights issues in Papua, as well as the importance of sustainable development that considers environmental conservation and the welfare of the local community. The government has taken significant steps to improve health infrastructure and access to services. Still, a more substantial commitment is needed to ensure the fulfillment of the fundamental rights of the Papuan people.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to: 1) Find out the reality of students' conceptual and factual knowledge in class V science learning at SD Inpres Mangempang, Gowa Regency before implementing the experiential learning model, 2) Find out the reality of students' conceptual and factual knowledge in class V science learning at SD Inpres Mangempang Gowa District after implementing the experiential learning model, 3) Find out whether there is an influence on students' conceptual and factual knowledge through the application of the Experiential Learning model in class V science learning at SD Inpres Mangempang, Gowa District. The design of this research is a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest design. The total population is all 19 class V students at SD Inpres Mangempang. The data collection technique used was a test (pretest posttest). Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis and difference analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, it shows that the average reality value of students' conceptual and factual knowledge before implementing the experiential learning model is 29.47 Meanwhile, the average reality value of students' conceptual and factual knowledge after implementing the experiential learning model was 87.37. The results of the difference analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test can be said to be influential if the value of the sig (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.05. After carrying out the paired sample t-Test, a value of 0.000 is obtained. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' conceptual and factual knowledge before and after being given treatment using the experiential learning model. The implications of this research are: For teachers, the learning process using the experiential learning model can be chosen as a learning model that can be applied to increase students' conceptual and factual knowledge. For students, implementing the experiential learning model can help increase student involvement in learning. For researchers, the results of this research can be used as a reference for future researchers

Abstract

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a pedagogical approach that situates students at the centre of the learning process, confronting them with authentic problems and challenges, with the aim of fostering their capacity to solve these problems effectively. The process of problem-based learning (PBL) presents students with a real-world problem, thereby facilitating the development of conceptual understanding. The objective of this research is to ascertain how the PBL model can be effectively employed to enhance students' conceptual understanding. The methodology employed is a pre-experimental one, utilising a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research was conducted at SDN Cemplang 4, Bogor Regency. The study sample consisted of 31 students, comprising 16 boys and 15 girls. The instruments employed were concept understanding test questions and observation sheets. The concept understanding ability test was conducted in two stages: the pretest and the posttest. The results of the study indicate that students demonstrated an average understanding of the concept in question of 62.81 on the pretest and 83.0 on the posttest. The data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 for Windows with a Paired Sample t-test at the 5% significance level, which yielded a significance value of 0.000, less than the 5% level. This indicates that there was a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Moreover, the N-gain value (medium category) is 0.498, indicating that students' ability to comprehend the concept has improved from the pretest to the posttest.

Abstract

Fatwa is the result of Islamic law exploration on an issue. The MUI fatwa on interfaith greetings has opened up a discussion space on the concept of tasyabbuh. This article seeks to interpret the concept of tasyabbuh contained in the hadith and its contextualization in the MUI fatwa. The research method used is interpretive qualitative research with a literature study model with the object of research being the MUI fatwa number 02 of 2024 Ijtima' ulama commission fatwa. The data were obtained through the e-book of the collection of Ijtima' ulama commission fatwa throughout Indonesia VIII in 2024, from digital journals and related research materials, with the data analysis process using a descriptive review using a historical approach. Source triangulation is used as an effort to maintain the validity of the data. From the results of the study, it was found that first, interfaith greetings according to the MUI are something that should not be used except in an emergency and needed. This is in accordance with the argument of the tasyabbuh hadith which has hasan quality. Second, the hadith about tasyabbuh in the argument of the fatwa requires a contextual approach so that it can minimize pros and cons.
