Abstract

Housewives living with HIV are a vulnerable group that is often marginalized in society. This study examined the effects of group positive psychotherapy on improving the social self-efficacy of housewives living with HIV, which is essential for them to access necessary psychosocial services. Participants in this study were 7 housewives aged 28 to 37 year-old with HIV in Yogyakarta, selected using referral sampling. The quasi-experimental study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design using a double pretest. The group positive psychotherapy- called the ADAPTIF (I Can Be Positive) Program in this study, consisted of six sessions conducted twice a week. The instruments used were the Social Self-Efficacy Scale, modified from the Perceived Social Self-Efficacy Scale, and the Positive Psychotherapy Inventory (PPTI). The researcher used Wilcoxon’s signed-rank test to conduct data analysis. Results showed that Group Positive Psychotherapy significantly improved participants’ social self-efficacy (z = -2.028; p < 0.05).

Abstract

Proses penyelesaian skripsi merupakan salah satu tahapan krusial yang menentukan lama studi mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, berbagai studi sebelumnya telah berusaha mengungkap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses pengerjaan skripsi serta efektivitas aneka intervensi untuk menangani hambatan yang ada. Sementara itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi diari berbasis web, komik berbasis web, dan diari+komik berbasis web terhadap self-regulated learning mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Intervensi didesain sebagai bentuk modifikasi 2 penelitian sebelumnya, guna menguji metode penyampaian yang berbeda serta evaluasi terkait self-regulated learning yang lebih komprehensif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 mahasiswa S-1 yang dapat mengikuti proses penelitian dari awal sampai akhir selama 25 hari. Pengambilan sampel dari populasi tersebut menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Pengukuran self-regulated learning dilakukan menggunakan hasil adaptasi MSLQ shortened version, yang mana pengukuran dilakukan pada per komponen yang menyusun self-regulated learning. Hasil analisis mixed between-within subject ANOVA menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 23 terhadap setiap indikator self-regulated learning pada setiap kelompok menunjukkan bahwa ketiga bentuk intervensi hanya efektif meningkatkan skor pada subskala self-efficacy for learning and performance, organization, critical thinking, dan metacognitive. Temuan ini menjadi evaluasi untuk penyusunan intervensi selanjutnya yang menyasar self-regulated learning mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi.

Abstract

Gangguan sensorik adalah permasalahan umum pada anak dengan ADHD yang memerlukan intervensi tepat sasaran untuk mengurangi keparahan gejala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari pemberian intervensi multimodal berupa terapi perilaku, stimulasi multisensorik, serta psikoedukasi kepada orang tua dan guru terhadap gejala ADHD pada seorang anak usia dini yang juga menampakkan gangguan sensorik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus tunggal dengan teknik analisis visual inspection. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi multimodal ini efektif dalam menurunkan perilaku off-task dan meningkatkan perilaku on-task. Analisis kualitatif melalui lembar evaluasi terbuka serta wawancara terhadap orang tua dan guru juga menunjukkan adanya penurunan hiperaktivitas, impulsivitas, masalah perilaku, penghindaran tekstur, frekuensi tantrum, serta peningkatan interaksi sosial dengan teman sebaya. Temuan penelitian ini menjadi penting dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang intervensi yang efektif guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan populasi anak ADHD dengan gangguan sensorik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) terhadap afiliasi diri pada mahasiswa. Partisipan 7 orang dengan afiliasi diri rendah-sedang (N=7). Metode yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain between subjects with control group. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan skala afiliasi diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Mann Whitney, Visual Inspection pada tes pengetahuan. Hasil analisis Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai Z sebesar -.943 dengan p = 0.345 (p>0.050). Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan afiliasi diri antara kelompok eksperimen berdasarkan hasil skala afiliasi diri. Namun, hasil visual inspection pada skala tes prestasi menunjukkan kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor pemahaman tentang afiliasi diri Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan pada intervensi tidak selalu berjalan beriringan dengan peningkatan variabel psikologis yang menjadi target intervensi seperti afiliasi diri.

Abstract

Anak-anak gelandangan tidak jarang mengalami berbagai macam permasalahan, salah satunya adalah permasalahan dengan perilaku makan. Perilaku memakan makanan dari tempat sampah merupakan permasalahan perilaku makan jarang dijumpai pada anak-anak kebanyakan, namun rentan terjadi pada anak-anak jalanan. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan suatu intervensi untuk mengurangi permasalahan tersebut. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas differential reinforcement of alternative behavior (DRA) atau penguatan diferensial terhadap perilaku alternatif dengan token ekonomi untuk menurunkan permasalahan perilaku makan. Asesmen dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan tes psikologi, sedangkan intervensi dilakukan selama sembilan sesi. Hasil dari intervensi menunjukkan penurunan perilaku mengambil makan dari tempat sampah. Selain mengganti perilaku lama menjadi perilaku yang lebih adaptif, peran perhatian dari orang dewasa di sekitarnya menjadi salah satu kontributor utama dalam efektivitas intervensi.

Abstract

Anxiety disorder in children requires attention due to its comorbidity with depression. Proper management of this condition is essential. This single case study research explored the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral play therapy in treating a 6-year-old girl attending an Islamic school who exhibited symptoms of religious anxiety. The client attended a total of 8 intervention sessions. The assessment process involved interviews, observations, and psychological tests, including CPM, Bender-Gestalt, and SCARED for Parents. Pre- and post-intervention results, measured using the SCARED for Parents and unstructured interviews, indicated a reduction in anxiety symptoms, improved coping mechanisms, and changes in maladaptive thinking.

Abstract

Career exploration is important for high school students to face career decision-making difficulties. This study aims to investigate the effect of career exploration training on career decision-making difficulties among 12th-grade high school students. A total of 24 SMAK BPPK grade 12 high school students in Bandung were divided into two matching groups (experimental group and control group) based on pretest scores measured by the Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire. Pretest and posttest scores data were analyzed using the related samples t-test. The results of this research show that there is no effect of career exploration training on career decision-making difficulties of grade 12 high school students. This research confirms that career exploration will be beneficial for career decision-making if it is accompanied by confidence and the ability to integrate various information into a decision (creative self-efficacy). This self-efficacy can be supported by parents, older siblings, or teachers.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi digital dapat meningkatkan risiko terpaparnya dampak negatif dari penggunaan gadget dan internet seperti mudah terprovokasi oleh hoaks, \textit{cyberbullying}, dan ujaran kebencian. Diperlukan sebuah upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan masyarakat khususnya anak-anak, karena di usia tersebut anak masih rentan dan membutuhkan pendampingan dari orang dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh psikoedukasi “Cerdas Menggunakan Gadget dan Internet untuk Anak” dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman literasi digital anak. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen acak dengan menggunakan\textit{ pre-post control group design}. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan anak berusia 9-11 pada sebuah SD di Yogyakarta yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (n = 38) dan kontrol (n = 38). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan gadget dan internet yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (t = 2,079, p = 0,041, p {\textless} 0,05) dengan rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (n = 38, M = 1,816, SD = 1,74) daripada kelompok kontrol (n = 38, M = 0,921, SD = 2,01).

Abstract

A quarter-life crisis is a condition related to fulfilling early adult developmental tasks. Failing to fulfil these tasks can disrupt productivity and social relationships, cause emotional instability, and increase the risks of mental disorders. The Quarter-Life Management Program Based on Solution-Focused Therapy is designed to treat individuals aged 18-25 years with quarter-life crisis who experience education, employment, social relations, or personal identity problems. This study aimed to validate the program module. The content validation procedure carried out through professional judgment, resulted in an Aiken’s V score of 0.91. The functional validation procedure was carried out through experimental research on 7 participants in experimental groups and 7 participants in waitlist-control group. The results of the within-subject test analysis indicate that the implementation of the program did not have a significant effect in reducing quarter-life crisis in the experimental group (p= 0.052). However, the program was effective in increasing a more positive self-perspective and enhancing problem-solving abilities (p= 0.035 and p= 0.007). In contrast, the waitlist-control group, which did not receive the program, showed no changes.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a disorder that affects thoughts, feelings, and behavior, often accompanied by positive symptoms such as delusions and hallucinations. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is a psychotherapeutic approach that help individuals with schizophrenia develop coping strategies and reduce positive symptoms. This scoping review research maps the variations of CBT types through 24 journals from PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect (published from 2000 to 2022), which studied participants aged 18–65 years without comorbidities. CBT can be applied individually or in groups, including general cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance-based, cognitive behavioral social skill training, brief CBT for psychosis (culturally adapted), guided self-help, and module-based for specific symptoms. Most participants in the reviewed study were of age 30 to 50, with the majority being male. Based on the scoping review conducted, CBT can be conducted with therapist guidance or self-administered. CBT was also found to be effective in addressing positive symptoms in individuals with schizophrenia.
