Abstract

Qualitative research is defined as a scientific approach that aims to understand a phenomenon in depth. As there are various problems faced in learning, this hinders educators and students from understanding the material presented so that teaching and learning activities every year cannot predict the results, many learning innovations are created by educators who eventually have to learn new teaching methods to improve the quality of learning. With various new learning methods, not all of them are effective at one time. It is necessary for students and educators to adapt to follow learning methods in order to create quality with new strategies. Many things need to be considered to create new learning innovations so that the developed method can be successful as well as a solution to problems in teaching and learning activities, so that the method can be used by many individuals. The problems experienced in the world of learning are learning innovations such as technology development, affective learning, flipped classrooms, inclusive education, Artificial Intelligence, and project-based learning.

Abstract

The Minangkabau people, often called Minang, are an ethnic group primarily living in the province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. With the rapid pace of globalization and urbanization, many Minangkabau people choose to migrate in search of better economic opportunities and quality of life. Merantau, or migration, has become a widespread tradition in the Minang community. Traditionally, this practice was carried out by men, while women stayed in their hometowns. However, nowadays, women also participate in merantau. Migration is not only a part of a long-standing tradition passed down through generations but also a way to demonstrate personal maturity and responsibility. The spirit of merantau is very strong among the Minangkabau people, with surveys suggesting that their migration rate is among the highest in Indonesia. This migration process encourages cultural acculturation, which can either strengthen or alter the original Minangkabau culture. With increasing education levels and broader perspectives, many Minangkabau people are beginning to question the matrilineal kinship system that has traditionally defined their society. While these changes can bring positive effects, they also carry the risk of altering or diluting long-held customary values.

Abstract

The relationship between the philosophy of science and education plays a crucial role in shaping the capacity of future generations to think critically and solve problems effectively. Philosophy of science, as a discipline that explores the foundations, methods, and implications of scientific knowledge, offers a framework for understanding how knowledge is constructed and how it can be applied in solving real-world problems. In the context of education, it serves as a cornerstone for fostering analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and reflective inquiry. This paper examines how philosophical perspectives on science can inform educational practices that nurture critical and solution-oriented thinking. By integrating philosophical insights into the curriculum, educators can promote an environment that encourages students to question assumptions, evaluate evidence, and develop innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. Ultimately, the integration of philosophy of science into education not only enhances intellectual growth but also equips students with the tools needed to address the complex issues facing society today. This relationship is essential in preparing a generation that is capable of navigating the rapidly changing world with a mindset grounded in inquiry, adaptability, and ethical reasoning.
