Abstract

This study aims to determine learning outcomes, learning motivation, and student learning outcomes in terms of learning motivation on global warming material. The technique used as a data collection tool in this study is a test instrument used to measure learning outcomes, a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale used to measure student learning motivation, and Pearson correlation test to determine the relationship between learning outcomes and learning motivation. In this study, the sample used was 125 seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Kepohbaru, Bojonegoro. The research variable consisted of two categories, namely the independent variable (learning motivation) and the dependent variable (learning outcomes). The results of the percentage of the average value of 72% are in the good category. Student learning outcomes in the very good category were 15 students (12%). In the good category 54 students (43.2%), in the sufficient category 42 students (33.6%), and in the 14 students category (11.2%). The results of the average percentage of learn-ing motivation that is 80.5% are in the high category. Students' learning motivation in the high category was 95 students (76%), in the medium category there were 30 students (24%) and in the low category 0 students (0%). Based on data analysis and research results as well as hypothesis testing that has been carried out, it is con-cluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning out-comes and learning motivation in seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Kepohbaru Bojonegoro. This means that the higher student learning outcomes, the higher the motivation to learn. With a correlation index of 1.165 with a t count of 21.642 and a coefficient of determination of 135.7%, it means that motivation contributes 135.7% to science learning outcomes while the rest is determined by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to determine the feasibility, readability, and student responsses to the inquiry module based on scientific reasoning ability in additive material. The type of this study is development research, where the study uses the ADDIE development model. The research design used in this study was purposive sampling. The research was conducted at AL-Hikam Burneh Middle School, in the class VIII-A with samples of  36 students. The research was conducted in January 2023. The result of this study indicates that the average validity results for the feasibility of the module are 90.60% wich categorized as a very valid category and the reliability value is 94.78% wich categorized as a very reliable category. The average percentage of all aspects of student readability has a value of 81.89% categorized in the very good category and the average percentage of all aspects of student responsse has a value of 86.30% categorized in the very good category. The inquiry module based on scientific reasoning ability on material additives is declared feasible to use.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis dan proses berpikir kritis pada materi pencemaran lingkungan ditinjau dari self-awareness siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method research) dengan strategi  explanatory sequential design. Subjek penelitian menggunakan siswa kelas VII UPTD SMPN 2 Bangkalan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas VII A UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Bangkalan tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Teknik pengambilan data melalui tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, angket self awareness, dan wawancara. Hasil persentase rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 67,71% dan persentase rata-rata self awareness sebesar 73,46%. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis dan self awareness berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil angket self awareness, masing-masing kategorinya memiliki tingkat kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis yang beragam. Siswa dengan kategori self awareness tinggi belum tentu memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis yang tinggi. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis, seperti faktor perkembangan intelektual, motivasi, kondisi fisik, dan keadaan emosional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, keterbacaan dan respon siswa terhadap pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis web pada materi pengukuran besaran dan satuan. Pengembangan multimedia ini mengadopsi model ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahap analisis perancangan, pengembangan implementasi dan evaluasi yang digunakan untuk menyajikan multimedia interaktif adalah google sites. Multimedia interaktif berbasis web ini layak untuk digunakan untuk pembelajaran IPA pada materi pengukuran

Abstract

Multi-representational ability is an important skill for students to have. This study aims to determine students' multi-representational abilities in terms of VAK learning styles on temperature and heat material. This is a mixed-methods research with a sequential explanatory design. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri Bangkalan with a purposive sampling technique. The samples used were from classes VII A and VII B, totaling 45 students. Data collection were carried out by providing VAK learning style questionnaire instruments, multi-representation ability tests, and interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) there are 18 students who have a visual learning style; 14 students have an auditory learning style; and 13 students have a kinesthetic learning style. (2) students' multi-representation abilities based on the VAK learning style are in the medium category. (3) visual students are dominant in verbal representation, kinesthetic students are dominant in symbolic representation, and in visual representation the three learning styles have an average that is not too far away. Students' multi-representational abilities are influenced by differences in student learning styles related to differences in students' understanding of concepts

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to got a product in the form of science module based experimental learning model on student concept understanding. The research used developing model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The sample in this research used students of VIII F grade SMP Negeri 1 Srengat by using of purposive technique sampling. Data collected used validation by validator, legibility, and student’s response. The result showed that there was: the validity of science module based on feasibility of material and media very worth used with of validity the material feasibility score was 90.58% and reliability score was 92.74%, while validity based on feasibility of media score was 95.07% and reliability score was 97.22. Based on the result can be concluded that the science module based on experiential learning model very feasibility used and used effective on learning.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah siswa merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami serta menyelesaikan masalah berdasarkan pengetahuannya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran double loop problem solving dengan metode Gallery walk terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan respon siswa terhadap model Double Loop Problem Solving dengan metode Gallery Walk. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 siswa. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu lembar tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berupa uraian, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sebelum dan sesudah implementasi model Double Loop Problem Solving dengan metode Gallery walk dengan selisih sebesar 25,58% dan effect size sebesar 1,57 dengan kategori sangat kuat, (2) Rata-rata hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat baik, (3) Rata-rata hasil angket respon siswa terhadap model Double Loop Problem Solving dengan metode Gallery walk sebesar 82% dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata Kunci: Double Loop Problem Solving, Gallery walk, Kemampuan pemecahan siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, Respon siswa

Abstract

Komik GIF sains berbasis HTML 5 merupakan media pembelajaran hasil inovasi dari perkembangan teknologi, dengan maksud untuk menjadikan pembelajaran IPA materi pesawat sederhana menjadi menarik dan mudah bagi siswa. Desain pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation dan Evaluate), namun dalam penelitian ini tanpa melakukan fase Impelementation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran, keterbacaan, dan respons siswa terhadap media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media komik GIF sains layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan rata-rata hasil validitas pada aspek media sebesar 0,93 dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan rata-rata hasil reliabilitas media  sebesar 94% dalam kategori reliabel. Rata-rata hasil validitas pada aspek materi sebesar 0,91 dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan rata-rata hasil reliabilitas media  sebesar 93,81% dalam kategori reliabel.
