Abstract

Morals are important to discuss because morals are the main pillar of human life. This study aim to assess the impact of comprehending the Book of Washoya Al Abaa’ lil Abnaa’ on the moral development of students at the Al Hidayah Modern Islamic Boarding School Riau. This research is quantitative associative, employing a proportionate stratified random sampling technique involving 232 students from the Al Hidayah Modern Islamic Boarding School Riau. This study employs sederhana regression analysis as its data analysis technique. The study's results indicate that the first hypothesis is supported, as the t-count value exceeds the t-table value (4.475 > 1.65145), and the significance value of the t-count is less than the alpha level set at 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). It can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is significantly accepted, indicating that comprehension of the Washoya Al Abaa' lil Abnaa' Book has a substantial impact on the morals of the students at Al Hidayah Riau Islamic Boarding School. The correlation coefficient between the variable of comprehension of the Washoya Al Abaa' lil Abnaa' Book (X1) and the morals variable (Y) is 0.409. This figure indicates a moderate correlation between the variable of comprehension of the Washoya Al Abaa' lil Abnaa' book (X1) and the morals variable (Y), as the computed r value is 0.409, which exceeds 0.05. The second hypothesis indicates that the calculated t value (-1.443) is less than the critical t value (1.65145), and the significance value of the calculated t (0.150) exceeds the alpha level of 0.05.

Abstract

The habituation of students as their character is still homework in educational institutions. Therefore, a certain learning model is needed in order to accustom positive things for school residents, one of which is the habituation of worship. This research aims to analyze the application of the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model to the Dhuha prayer habituation program at Elementary School (SD) Character 2 Gunung Puteri Bogor and identify the obstacles faced in the evaluation process. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and document studies. The research results show that the application of this model focuses on achieving program objectives, namely increasing student worship discipline through the habit of Dhuha prayer. The evaluation was carried out based on indicators of student involvement, discipline, and changes in daily religious behaviour. However, several obstacles were faced, such as low student discipline, limited implementation time, and lack of support from parents. The research results are expected to be a reference for schools in improving and developing similar programs in the future.

Abstract

This research examines women in the religious modernity movement by studying Lombok's veiled women's community. Specifically, this research discusses the forms of veiled women's movements amid modernity, which are analyzed using the Resource Mobilization Theory. The researcher uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that focuses on the experiences and views of veiled women in the socio-religious Movement. The research type used is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were the founders, leaders, and administrators of Lombok's veiled women's community. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview, and documentation methods. The research results indicate that the veiled women's community in Lombok is a socio-religious movement that provides social benefits to the community. In addition, the veiled women's community in Lombok is also used as a symbol of the Movement and has succeeded in becoming a public figure and example for the surrounding community. It can be seen from the success of various community programs that the community on Lombok Island has welcomed.

Abstract

The International Criminal Court (ICC) plays a strategic role in upholding international law, particularly in addressing grave crimes such as genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. In the context of the Israel-Palestine conflict, the ICC serves as an independent body offering hope to Palestine in seeking accountability for alleged human rights violations committed by Israel. This study analyzes the ICC’s role in the conflict and identifies the challenges it faces. The findings reveal that the ICC’s jurisdiction, as stipulated by the Rome Statute, encounters significant obstacles, particularly as Israel has not ratified the Rome Statute and firmly rejects the ICC’s authority. Conversely, Palestine, a member of the ICC since April 2015, has sought to utilize international legal mechanisms to pursue justice. The study concludes that while the ICC has considerable potential to enforce justice, legal and political challenges such as the refusal of cooperation by accused parties and the complex geopolitical dynamics limit its effectiveness. This research provides critical insights into the ICC’s role and challenges in administering justice in conflict zones, as well as its contribution to peace efforts in Israel and Palestine.

Abstract

Reading the yellow book (kitab kuning) for students in Islamic boarding schools is very important because various religious studies always use the yellow book as a medium to study it in depth. This research reveals the effectiveness of the sorogan method in improving the competence of reading the yellow book among students of the Pasca-Amtsilati dormitory in Jepara, Central Java. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the research showed that the efforts of teachers in improving the competence of students reading the yellow book through the sorogan method proved to be very effective. It can be seen from the improvement in the quality of students' reading, students' understanding of the contents of the reading, and their skills in explaining the contents of the reading. For this reason, the sorogan method in several Islamic boarding schools must continue to be preserved and developed for the quality of religious education for the nation's future generations. However, learning the Yellow Book has many benefits for students, namely a comprehensive understanding of religion, development of critical thinking skills, strengthening practical experience, and self-identity.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of integral education at Al Wildan Islamic Boarding School 13 Tambelang, focusing on its role in shaping an Islamic generation with high academic and moral achievements. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from school stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents. The findings reveal that the integral education model successfully integrates Islamic values with modern academic competencies, highlighted by programs such as Tahfizhul Qur’an, leadership training, and extracurricular activities. However, challenges such as balancing academic and religious commitments, student motivation, and parental awareness were identified. The study concludes that the holistic approach of Al Wildan supports the development of students who are both spiritually grounded and academically capable, providing a valuable reference for Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Learning the book of fathul qorib is a learning process that is usually carried out in Islamic boarding schools and Islamic education institutions, especially at Langitan Islamic Boarding School. This book is one of the most popular books of fiqh, the work of Sheikh Muhammad bin Qosim al-Ghazi which is the sharah of the book of taqrib which is usually called matan abi syuja'. This research aims to reveal: 1) Improved understanding of Fiqh at MTs Al-Falahiyah. 2) Learning the Book of Fathul Qorib to Improve Understanding of Fiqh at MTs Al-Falahiyah. 3) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for Learning the Book of Fathul Qorib in Increasing Understanding of Fiqh at MTs Al-Falahiyah. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of the study on the implementation of learning the Fathul Qorib book in improving understanding of Islamic jurisprudence at MTs Al-Falahiyah, Langitan Widang Islamic Boarding School, Tuban showed that: 1) learning the Fathul Qorib book in improving understanding of Islamic jurisprudence went well and effectively, students' understanding of Islamic jurisprudence can be improved by studying the book. Fathul Qorib uses several methods, including muroja'ah and deliberation. 2) Learning the Fathul Qorib book at MTs Al-Falahiyah is realized well by implementing several varied methods, including classical, sorogan, wetonan, and lectures, teaching and learning activities of the book fathul qorib runs smoothly and effectively. 3) Supporting factors, such as teacher competence and appropriate learning methods can provide positive contributions to student understanding. However, there are also inhibiting factors that need to be addressed through evaluation and adjustment of strategies by teachers to continue to improve the process learning the book Fathul Qorib and overcoming existing obstacles.

Abstract

The success in the educational process is influenced by the willingness of students to carry out their duties while studying, the willingness of students in undergoing their education, encouragement / motivation is needed for these students, starting from motivation within themselves and motivation from outside the students. This study aims to analysis the state of student learning motivation, after obtaining information services conducted by students of the Master Program in Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Education, State University of Padang at SDN 12 VII Koto Sungai Sarik. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. This study also used an instrument in the form of a learning motivation questionnaire using a guttman scale which has a weighted answer score of Yes = 2; No = 1. From this study the results obtained 1) There are 14 students who have a level of learning motivation with a percentage of 73.68%; 2) There are 5 students who have a learning motivation level with a percentage of 26.32%; 3) There are no students whose learning motivation is in the medium, low, and very low categories. Therefore, it can be seen that the level of learning motivation of students at SDN 12 VII Koto Sungai Sarik, after receiving information services, the average learning motivation is in the high category.

Abstract

The issue of religious moderation is important. School education plays a vital role in the process of instilling these values ​​of moderation. The urgency is reinforced by the influence of the modern era and the challenges of increasingly rampant urban society. In a case study, a phenomenon of educational institutions in urban areas was found that still maintain the content of ethical and moral education and insert moderation content. Of the many institutions that are competing to strengthen these values, MA Bahauddin Ngelom Sidoarjo is one of them. In addition to reasons from the urban space side that make it very possible for multicultural problems to occur, MA Bahauddin is also a private institution that is of interest to many applicants. The purpose of this study is to narrate how to instill the values ​​of religious tolerance through Aqidah Akhlak lessons at MA Bahauddin along with supporting and inhibiting factors. This study is a qualitative study and the data collection method is through interviews, personal documents, memos, and other official documents. This study has produced several conclusions, including; First, the instillation of religious tolerance values ​​in students' aqidah akhlaq learning at MA Bahauddin Ngelom Sidoarjo is going well and effectively, as evidenced by the systematic stages in learning aqidah akhlaq including the introduction of tolerance values, instillation through learning and experience, internalization of tolerance values, reinforcement and appreciation. Second, supporting factors in the process of instilling tolerance values ​​through learning Aqidah Akhlak at MA Bahauddin include the existence of government policies related to religious tolerance in educational institutions, the existence of adequate learning facilities and resources, support from the head of the madrasah and madrasah stakeholders, literature on aqidah akhlaq materials that emphasize the value of religious tolerance, inclusive madrasah management, and a tolerant surrounding community environment. While some inhibiting factors are the level of differences in students' abilities and emotional maturity, differences in the origins of previous schools, limited time in learning aqidah akhlak, some students pay less attention and are sleepy during learning.

Abstract

This research discusses the utilization of Google Form integrated with the belajar.id account in the implementation of the End of Semester Summative (SAS) in the Indonesian language subject for grade 8 students at SMP Negeri 37 Sinjai. This research focuses on the importance of assessment in the educational process, especially in measuring students' competency achievement efficiently and integrated with technology. The research method used was qualitative with semi-structured interviews with an Indonesian language teacher who has more than five years of experience. The results showed that Google Form offers a number of advantages, such as ease of use, randomization of questions, and automation of assessment, thus helping to speed up the evaluation process and minimize manual errors. However, technical issues such as unstable internet connection and limited question features were the main challenges. Teachers and students generally responded positively to the use of Google Forms, especially in terms of efficiency and ease of access. The implementation of Google Forms in SAS effectively increases the efficiency of assessment, although it requires better infrastructure support and training for users. Further development in platform features and improvement in digital literacy are needed to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of Google Form use in the future.
