Abstract

This research is based on the aim of exploring the various opportunities and challenges that affect the integration of ICT in the teaching and learning process of Mathematics at schools and at universities. This study adopted a descriptive survey design. Three questionnaire instruments, structured interviews and observation sheets were used to collect data. This research was conducted in the Micro Teaching class of students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary (Syahada) Padangsidimpuan. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings from the research indicate that, the main challenges faced by students as teacher candidates are developing technological skills and knowledge as well as training in the use of ICT in their teaching. The lack of development support found by research for students contributing in technology to integrate their teaching out of enthusiasm. This study recommends that the integration of technology be accessible to lecturers and students for learning which aims to increase access to information and capacity building for enhanced technology integration for students as teachers and will build awareness among training participants integrating ICT in teaching and learning Mathematics. Keywords: Integration of ICT; Teaching and Learning Mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the collaboration of the Missouri Mathematics Project and Realistics Mathematics Education models with students using conventional learning models on mathematics learning achievement in terms of students' initial abilities. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of MTs Mardiyah Panyabungan. Random Sampling is used to choose the students as a sample, data analysis using descriptive test, and normality test, paired sample test, variance homogeneity test and analysis of hypothesis testing. The results of the data analysis test are 1) there are differences in learning achievement from the experimental class and the control class 2) the increase in learning achievement of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Based on these results, the effectiveness of the Missouri Mathematics Project and Realistics Mathematics Education models in improving students' mathematics learning achievement can be a recommendation for teachers or practitioners. Keywords: Missouri Mathematics Project and Realistic Mathematics Education; Learning Achievement; and Early Ability.

Abstract

This research began because of problems in elementary school students' learning outcomes in mathematics, especially in solving math word problems. One way that can be used to find out the cause of this is to analyze students' mistakes in solving math word problems and the factors that cause student mistakes and solutions to eliminate student mistakes in solving math word problems. The purpose of this study was to describe students' mistakes in solving math word problems. This research is included in the type of qualitative research using descriptive methods. Grade IV students of SD Negeri 200117 Padangsidimpuan were used as subjects in this study. Collecting data in this study using tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the classical study found that the average percentage of the total number of students who answered correctly was still relatively lower when compared to the average percentage of the total number of students who answered incorrectly. This indicates that there are still many students who are confused or unable to solve math word problems correctly, as evidenced by the percentage of correct answers, which is an average of 46.67% in the sufficient category, while the average total percentage of students who answered incorrectly is higher. that is equal to 53.33%.Keywords: Error Analysis; Story Problems; Mathematics.

Abstract

Writing research has the intention to understand and know the influence of the social environment of society in the formation of students' learning character. The method used in this journal uses the library research method, which is carried out by citing sources from scientific writings. The result of this scientific writing is an assessment of several papers regarding the influence of the social environment in the formation of students' learning character. This library research study method is used to collect various information and data regarding the material being studied to be a reference for the results obtained. To conduct a library research study, steps are needed such as collecting references that are in accordance with the sections to be discussed, looking for discussions that are appropriate and related to writing this journal, and analyzing the contents of the sources obtained. The data analysis techniques used were clarifying, combining, and concluding. The results of research on the influence of the social environment in the formation of the learning character of students: 1) understanding the influence of the social environment; 2) the formation of the character of students in learning. Keywords: Social Environment;  Society; Character of Students.

Abstract

Music is a body-based artistic expression. The music consists of loops or feedback or feedback hide, listen and hide again. Making music is equivalent to talking to the body. The art of music has a vital role in various levels of society, considering that music is a very effective medium as an entertainer and messenger. The method used in this study is library research with the type of Systematic Literature Review (SLR), where researchers want to systematically and in-depth compile empirical evidence that has been found and published by previous researchers to be used to provide a complete interpretation of the research results. The art of music is an expression through the sound and rhythm of a tone. The function of the art of music is to build creativity that contains the value of harmony and discipline in the form of notes that have a good deal. In addition, Music Arts discusses how musical notes are made and different types of music, such as vocal and instrumental. Looking at this concept of music gives us a more general understanding of music, and the art of music is a work of art. At a low level of human civilization, the art of music is used in almost all aspects of life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the interest in learning in the Islamic Religious Education science group of students. In theory, one of the developments in student interest in learning is influenced by factors that come from within the student. Likewise the development of interest in studying the Islamic Religious Education science group expected by teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Panyabungan. This study aims to determine the effect of applying blended learning, mastery of teacher information technology and the influence of both on interest in learning in the Islamic Religious Education study group, then differences in learning outcomes based on the application of blended learning and based on teacher information technology mastery. This type of research is quantitative research using the Ex post facto method. The population in this study were all students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Panyabungan, totaling 1186 people. The research sample was 119 people. The research results show that there is a correlation between X1 and Y. The value of rcount rtable is 0.993 0.1801 with a significance level of 5%. so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. R2 of 0.98 = 98.7%. The regression equation is Ŷ = 6.676 + 0.998X, the value of Fcount (8602.931) Ftable (3.92), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is known that there is a correlation between X2 and Y. The value of rcount rtable is 0.957 0.1801 with a significance level of 5%, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. R2 of 0.916 = 91.6%. The regression equation is Ŷ = 16.346 + 1.104 X, Fcount (1276.217) Ftable (3.92), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the multiple correlation calculations show that Ŷ = 6.652 + 0.898 X1 + 0.120X2, the value of Fcount (4602.149) Ftable (3.92), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, with a significance value of 5%. R2 = 0.9942 = 0.988 = 98.8%. For the t test and the significance of differences in students' interest in learning based on the application of blended learning obtained tcount 128.977 ttable 1.657. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted. and based on the teacher's mastery of information technology obtained tcount 123.306 ttable 1.657, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected Ha is accepted. Abstract

Factors that influence and determine the emotional intelligence of students in life include Islamic religious education. Islamic religious education can create a main personality in which there is a creed that is firmly rooted so that the faith that is in him is strong, carries out worship continuously and istiqomah so that he can do charity sincerely and has good morals as an application of faith and charity so that he can achieve the degree of ihsan. In addition to Islamic religious education, students' emotional intelligence can also be influenced by the religious culture of the school. School religious culture is a tradition in inculcating Islamic behavior formed by the school environment as a routine that is realized in the form of worship. The type of research used is quantitative research while the information needed by researchers is obtained directly from the research object by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data collection techniques used by researchers are questionnaires (questionnaires), documentation, and interviews. The analysis technique used is the validity and reliability test of the instrument then the data analysis used is the basic assumption test, the classic assumption test and the hypothesis test using the data processing computer program SPSS 22. The results showed that there was an influence of Islamic religious education on the emotional intelligence of Batunadua Ibtidaiyah Madrasah students, Padangsidimpuan City. There is the influence of the school's religious culture on the emotional intelligence of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Batunadua, Padangsidimpuan City. The conclusion is that Islamic religious education and school religious culture simultaneously and partially influence the emotional intelligence of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Batunadua, Padangsidimpuan City. Keywords: Islamic Religious Education; School Religious Culture; Emotional Intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dalam ranah pembelajaran guna meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur’an di MIN 1 Bungo. Riset ini mengadopsi pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang berlandaskan model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas V MIN 1 Bungo, dengan proses pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta tes kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an sebelum dan sesudah implementasi metode CIRC. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan Siklus I mencapai 63,69%, Siklus II meningkat menjadi 75%, dan Siklus III mencapai 94,04%, dikategorikan dalam tingkat sangat baik. Sementara itu, aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan progresif, yakni 60,26% pada Siklus I, naik menjadi 78,83% pada Siklus II, dan mencapai 92,3% pada Siklus III, yang juga masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Dalam aspek pencapaian akademik, nilai rata-rata siswa pada pra-siklus berada pada angka 62,41 dengan persentase ketuntasan 37,5%. Pada Siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 63,75 dengan ketuntasan 46%, kemudian pada Siklus II, meningkat lagi menjadi 69,2 dengan ketuntasan 58%, dan akhirnya pada Siklus III, nilai rata-rata mencapai 80 dengan persentase ketuntasan 83%, dikategorikan sebagai sangat baik. Dari keseluruhan temuan ini, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode CIRC terbukti efektif dalam mengoptimalkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur'an di MIN 1 Bungo. Metode ini dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Al-Qur'an di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam skripsi ini yakni (1). Bagaimana penggunaan media pembelajaran Mystery Box untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf melalui materi “Bunyi Apa” siswa kelas I SD Muhammadiyah 4 Limboto yang berjumlah 13 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes soal, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian memiliki empat model yaitu: Persiapan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pemantauan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media pembelajaran Mystery Box mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf siswa kelas I SD Muhammadiyah 4 Limboto dapat dilihat dari dari jumlah-jumlah presentase yang didapatkan. Pada saat Pra-siklus persentase rata-rata yakni 65% sebelum dilakukan tindakan. Kemudian dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I nilai perserntase rata-rata meningkat yakni 90% dan mengalami peningkatan lagi pada siklus II dengan nilai persentase 96%. Maka dengan itu media Mystery Box dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca huruf.

Abstract

Character education is very important in building human resources (HR), because good and bad characters are closely related to a person's education. All parties (family, society, and government) must realize that character emerges from the world of education. Therefore, character education must begin early, namely elementary school (SD) and middle school (SMP). In character education, strategies and materials are needed that must be taught to students. From the strategy, it is hoped that students can easily absorb the material, and the character material learned can be applied in their daily lives. This study aims to describe the actual concept related to the instillation of character education values among students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and types, data obtained from books and articles are systematically analyzed according to the topics of discussion. Then presented, conclusions are made and verified. Primary and secondary data are described according to the formulated systematics, so that the problems discussed can be understood into a complete concept. The strategies for instilling character education values for elementary and middle school students are: Incorporating character education into all subjects at school, Creating slogans or cheers that can foster habits for all school communities to behave well, getting used to positive behavior among school residents, and conducting continuous monitoring, giving prizes to students who always have good character. The character education values that must be instilled for elementary and middle school students are Religious, Honest, Tolerant, Disciplined, Hard Work, Creative, Independent, Democratic, Curiosity, National Spirit, Love for the Country, Appreciating Achievement, Friendly/Communicative, Love Peace, Love Reading, Care for the Environment, Care for Social and Responsible
