Abstract

The pandemic condition has encouraged the increase in online teaching and learning so that e-learning platforms, especially Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) are increasingly being used, one of the Moodle-based e-learning is ixcert.id which was developed by PT. inixindo. Moodle provides a fairly complete feature, one of the main ones is that Moodle is available for free, as open source software (under the GNU Public License). Moodle gives you the freedom to copy, use, and modify it. Although ixcert.id adopts Moodle which has very complete features, in practice, users encounter obstacles when using the platform, one of which is that there are several dashboard menus that confuse users, have a complex UI user interface with many options, and many other problems. So an evaluation is needed to reveal the usability condition of ixcert.id in accordance with good and correct User Experience (UX) principles. Evaluation is carried out to determine the level of success of the UX implemented to meet user needs and satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to find usability problems based on the SUS (System Usability Scale) method as well as to design a solution design based on the suggestions from respondents, and the results of SUS calculations. There are 15 respondents, consisting of 10 students and 5 teaching staff who have used the ixcert.id application. In the initial testing stage, SUS testing was carried out on respondents which resulted in an average score of 48 with a rating of “Awful” and continued with interview and observation sessions to find out firsthand the obstacles faced by users when using the ixcert.id application. this will also be the basic reference for user needs to design a solution design. The result of this study is a comparative analysis between the results of the initial evaluation and the design of the solution which shows that after evaluation and improvement in the user interface ixcert.id produces an average score of 95 with an “Excellent” rating.Keywords: ixcert.id, Learning Management System, Moodle, System Usability Scale (SUS), Usability.   Abstrak Kondisi pandemi mendorong peningkatan belajar mengajar secara daring sehingga platform e-learning khususnya Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) semakin banyak digunakan, salah satu e-learning yang berbasiskan Moodle adalah ixcert.id yang dikembangkan oleh PT. Inixindo. Moodle menyediakan fitur yang cukup lengkap, salah satu yang utama adalah Moodle tersedia secara gratis, sebagai perangkat-lunak open source. Moodle memberikan kebebasan untuk mengkopi, menggunakan, dan memodifikasinya. Meskipun ixcert.id mengadopsi moodle yang memiliki fitur yang sangat lengkap, namun dalam prakteknya muncul permasalahan, pengguna menemukan kendala ketika menggunakan platform tersebut, salah satunya terdapat beberapa menu dashboard membuat bingung pengguna, memiliki antarmuka pengguna UI yang kompleks dengan banyak opsi, dan masih banyak permasalahan lainnya. Sehingga diperlukan evaluasi untuk mengungkap kondisi usabilitas ixcert.id sesuai dengan prinsip User Experience (UX) yang baik dan benar. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan UX yang diterapkan agar memenuhi kebutuhan dan kepuasan pengguna. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penilaian usabilitas dan kepuasan penggunaberdasarkan metode SUS (System Usability Scale) sekaligus merancang solusi desain pengembangannya berdasarkan pengalaman dari responden, dan hasil perhitungan SUS. Responden berjumlah 15 orang, yang teridiri dari 10 orang peserta didik dan 5 orang tenaga pengajar yang sudah pernah menggunakan aplikasi ixcert.id. Tahap pengujian awal dilakukan pengujian SUS terhadap responden yang menghasilkan skor sebesar 48 dengan peringkat "Awful" dan dilanjutkan sesi wawancara serta observasi untuk mengetahui secara langsung kendala yang dihadapi pengguna saat menggunakan aplikasi ixcert.id. Hal ini juga yang akan menjadi acuan dasar kebutuhan pengguna untuk merancang solusi desain. Simpulan ditemukan perbandingan antara desain awal dan solusi desain pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aspek usabilitas yang dirasakan oleh pengguna yaitu yang sebelumnya mendapatkan skor 48 (awful) menjadi skor 95 (excellent). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa proses pengembangan desain yang mempertimbangkan pengalaman pengguna dapat meningkatkan kualitas interaksi antara pengguna dengan sistem (aplikasi ixcert) menjadi lebih baik. Abstract

The stigma related to lingerie in Indonesia is still focused on the perception of naughty clothing, rather than as a form of intimate and feminine expression, so local brand lingerie production is still not prominent. This research aims to investigate how much macrame techniques in lingerie design can meet the needs of self-expression and fashion innovation. This research uses design and development methods. Research data was taken from websites, scientific journals, e-books, reference books, Google forms, and direct observation. The research results show that integrating macrame techniques in lingerie design can fulfill the desire for femininity, producing aesthetic and functional products. This research concludes that lingerie design with this approach attracts market interest and creates new economic opportunities in the Indonesian market, elevating the concept of self-expression and femininity to a higher level.

Abstract

Dynamic developments in jewelry design encourage collaboration between designers and craftsmen to continue to develop innovation and uniqueness as a characteristic and strength of an industry. This research aims to design contemporary jewelry that integrates visual elements from the Parwati statue. The research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. With a qualitative and quantitative approach, data was collected through literature, observation, expert interviews, and questionnaires. The research results show that integrating traditional elements with new aesthetics through resin technology and 3D printing creates artistic jewelry products relevant to Generation Z. Design exploration successfully adopts past ideas, proving that design transformation can create explorative products and attract market interest. With high market interest in Arca Parwati-inspired jewelry, this research contributes to art and design, opens up new economic opportunities, and preserves cultural heritage through unique contemporary jewelry.

Abstract

Learning for children aged 5-6 years requires concrete media so that learning can be conveyed well and students can understand learning easily. One of the problems in learning geometric mathematics is the lack of supporting media. This research aims to create design innovation by applying printing and knitting techniques as visual and sensory media in ready-to-wear clothing products for children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted using the three-stage design process creation theory method. The research results show the potential for basic geometric shapes to be applied and utilized in ready-to-wear children's fashion products. The application of print and knitting techniques can be designed to give clothing a new style or appearance. Clothing designs using new motifs based on trial results can be a new alternative choice and be involved in the progress of sustainable children's fashion, which is followed by current popular trends.

Abstract

The Bekasi Museum Visual Brand Identity Design aims to design a strategy, concept and visual branding identity design for the Bekasi Museum that is in accordance with the image expected by the museum, namely a technology-based history museum. In this design, the method used is the data collection method in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, then the interactive data analysis method (Miles & Hubberman, 1992), and the 5 stage design thinking method consisting of emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results of designing the visual identity of the Bekasi Museum brand are the logo, GSM, and its application to the required media.

Abstract

Furniture for Wellbeing Interior in Minim Space Jakarta Residential. The economic limitations of Indonesian society make most people choose to live in minim space housing which has limited land. Limited land affects minimal space and wide access to the residence. This research is motivated by the problem of limited land occupancy. This research was carried out using a qualitative descriptive methodology and design thinking method, namely identifying problems involving users directly and presenting the results in a more structured data manner. The aim is to design furniture that can meet the needs of residents in activities in limited residential spaces so as to fulfill interior wellbeing. The furniture designed has a multifunctional design and suitable materials so that it can be easily used within limited space. Multifunctional furniture is designed to be of an appropriate size to be comfortable to use, using materials and finishing that are safe for the user, so that it can meet wellbeing criteria. Wellbeing is a reference for the concept of multifunctional furniture in order to create a comfortable interior for users.

Abstract

Based on a survey conducted by the Ministry of Transportation's Balitbang in 2022, buses are the mode of public transportation most used by travelers with a total of 14.1 million. Along with the large number of passengers, the number of buses continues to increase every year. The large number of buses means that each company must have its own characteristics, one of which is its livery design. Livery is a pattern or design on the bus body to symbolize the identity of the bus company. To attract interest and create consumer satisfaction. On this basis, this research aims to find out how much influence bus livery design has on customer satisfaction with the AKAP bus company and to identify which bus livery design elements best suit consumer perceptions. This research uses quantitative methods. The results of this research show that livery design has a significant influence on consumer satisfaction, although not dominant (53.5:46.5). Perceptually, this research obtained data that the bus livery design element in the form of color is the element that best suits consumer perceptions.

Abstract

Public space is an area or place where a community or community can gather to achieve the same goals and share stories about personal and group problems. One type of public space needed by the community is External Public Space, public facilities controlled by the private sector engaged in the commercial sector. In general, commercial space is a building or space that accommodates various business activities in it. In this study, we will discuss more about the role of upcycled products in the aesthetic elements of commercial space interiors. where currently café n restaurant no longer only offers food and beverage menus as a promotional strategy but also looks at several influencing factors to be able to increase the number of visitors, including cultural trends, social media, unique interior elements, comfortable and safe space concepts. The general objective of this research is to examine the role of upcycle products in the interior of commercial spaces, whether the presence of upcycle products can play a strong role in increasing the number of visitors. The specific goal is for upcycle products to become one of the supporting elements in the commercial space

Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan, dan teknologi  serta informasi berkembang pesat di Era digital dan terus meningkat , apalagi sudah banyaknya produk inovasi digital yang dihasilkan, dan dapat memberikan solusi dan memudahkan masyarakat dalam melakukan segala aktivitasnya. khususnya di tengah pandemi global COVID-19 dan keadaan serupa yang mungkin akan terjadi lagi. Situasi ini memotivasi untuk dilakukannya kajian dalam konteks arsitektur dan desain interior, yang datanya kami coba olah dan evaluasi secara digital, dan diharapkan dapat berkesinambungan untuk menciptakan produk digital. Produk digital diharapkan berupa aplikasi perangkat lunak yang dapat masyarakat dalam mewujudkan rumah hunian, yang dapat mendukung terciptanya lingkungan mikro  hunian yang layak huni dan iklim makro yang lebih baik dalam mengurangi pemanasan global serta pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kajian dilakukan dengan menyusun beberapa algoritma dari berbagai sumber literatur dan mengujinya dengan  bahasa pemrograman dengan bantuan perangkat bahasa pemrograman komputer yang bersifat open source. Hasil dapat berupa kumpulan data yang dapat disimpan secara digital dan dimanfaatkan pada tahap selanjutnya.

Abstract

Career women is the subject of conversation which appointed by the UN since the 70’s, as well as in Indonesia, which signed an agreement with the UN. Since 1978, the role of women in professional careers began to appear, both in private companies and government agencies, so that the role of women’s careers was changing. This changing was recorded in the mass media as a recording tool for any eras, through two samples of Femina magazine cover shown changes in the representation of Indonesian women’s career in the late 70s and the modern era. Both the cover of Femina magazine examined using semiotic analysis by Roland Barthes, to find meaning denotative, connotative and myths of women's career behind the making of the cover at the time of publication. With a constructivist qualitative methods, the social construction that forms the changing of Indonesian women's careers representation can be seen in more detail. In this study it was shown that in the 70’s, role of Indonesian women’s career is very strong seen in the domestic sphere, while in the modern era, representation of careeer woman in Indonesia is more viscous as a professional who has a career in the world of work outside the home. The time changes, especially the changes of the economy and the education system in Indonesia which took Indonesian women to the familiar liberal feminism, where Indonesian career women have equal opportunities with men to occupy important positions in both private companies and government agencies.
