Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to find out the relationship between overthinking and career interest in choosing a follow-up school for students in Bentara Wacana Muntilan Junior High School, (2) to find out the level of overhingking in choosing a follow-up school for students in Bentara Wacana Muntilan Junior High School, (3) to find out career interest in choosing a follow-up school for students in Bentara Wacana Muntilan Junior High School. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive correlation approach. The results showed that: (1) there is a negative relationship between overthinking and career interest with the acquisition of a correlation value (R) of -.389, (2) the level of overthinking in the low category with the acquisition of 87% and 78 students, (3) the level of career interest in the medium category with the acquisition of 40% and 36 students.

Abstract

Etika komunikasi merupakan aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan, karena berperan dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif dan membentuk karakter siswa yang santun. Namun, berbagai survei menunjukkan adanya penurunan etika komunikasi di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya etika komunikasi antar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan konseling behavior melalui teknik self management. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap 50 siswa MA Darul Huda Rembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik self management efektif dalam meningkatkan etika komunikasi siswa. Konseli, seperti RA dan DC, menunjukkan peningkatan dalam mengendalikan emosi dan berkomunikasi dengan lebih sopan. RA mulai lebih memperhatikan pilihan kata dalam berinteraksi dengan teman sekelas, sementara DC berhasil mengurangi penggunaan bahasa kasar. Perubahan ini juga mendapatkan respon positif dari lingkungan sekitar, termasuk guru dan teman sebaya. Kesimpulannya, teknik ini dapat digunakan secara lebih luas dalam layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling untuk meningkatkan etika komunikasi siswa secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

 Pendidikan karakter memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku positif anak usia dini, seperti disiplin, empati, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama. Akan tetapi, tantangan utama dalam implementasinya yaitu kurangnya media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik bagi anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas video edukasi berbasis Behavior Modification (B-Mood) dalam membentuk perilaku positif anak usia dini di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, analisis isi, dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 65 anak, guru, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum intervensi, persentase anak yang menunjukkan perilaku disiplin, empati, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama masing-masing sebesar 32%, 28%, 30%, dan 26%. Setelah pemutaran video edukasi Simajiro selama 12 minggu, terjadi peningkatan signifikan, dengan disiplin mencapai 78%, empati 74%, tanggung jawab 80%, dan kerja sama 76%. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas video ini didukung oleh teori Behavior Modification dari Skinner, yang menekankan penguatan positif (positive reinforcement), serta teori Social Learning dari Bandura, yang menjelaskan bahwa anak-anak belajar melalui observasi dan imitasi model peran. Dengan demikian, video edukasi berbasis Behavior Modification terbukti menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam membentuk perilaku positif anak usia dini, memberikan alternatif inovatif bagi pendidik dan orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter secara lebih menarik dan interaktif di era digital

Abstract

Conflict in romantic relationships is a common experience for adolescents and young adults.   Not only does conflict disrupt relationship quality, it also has a negative impact on mental health, triggering anxiety, decreased self-confidence, and even depression. This study examines the important role of counseling in helping individuals experiencing conflict in romantic relationships. This study analyzes the experiences of individuals who have experienced conflict and have attended counseling. It turns out that counseling, especially with the CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) method, can help them change negative thinking into more positive ones.  They became better able to control their emotions, communicate more effectively, and build healthier relationships. Counseling also helps them see conflict as an opportunity to learn and grow, not just a problem to be avoided.   They become more emotionally independent, more confident, and able to set clear boundaries in relationships. This research shows that although romantic conflict is painful, counseling can be a solution to turn hurt into strength.  With the help of the right counselor, individuals experiencing conflict can recover mentally and build healthier relationships in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program disiplin positif di SLB Negeri Cicendo, dengan fokus pada bagaimana penghargaan diberikan dan bagaimana siswa tuna rungu menanggapinya. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada eksplorasinya tentang bagaimana pengakuan publik, baik melalui pengakuan langsung di sekolah maupun unggahan media sosial, memengaruhi motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi dokumen dan analisis visual, temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa disiplin positif mendorong siswa untuk mempertahankan perilaku yang baik, menumbuhkan hubungan emosional, dan memperkuat hubungan guru-siswa. Namun, tantangan tetap ada dalam memastikan bahwa penghargaan didistribusikan secara adil dan mengevaluasi efektivitas program. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun program tersebut meningkatkan motivasi dan kesejahteraan emosional siswa, perbaikan diperlukan untuk membuat sistem penghargaan lebih inklusif dan diterapkan secara konsisten.

Abstract

Learning problems experienced by elementary school students require appropriate intervention through effective guidance and counseling (BK) strategies. This study aims to identify the most effective BK strategies in helping elementary school students overcome learning difficulties. The method used is a literature study with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which analyzes academic sources such as SINTA-accredited journals, scientific books, and peer-reviewed articles published in the last ten years (2015–2025). The subjects in this study were scientific documents relevant to BK strategies at the elementary school level. The data collection instrument was a literature review guide based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques with the stages of identification, categorization, synthesis of findings, and interpretation. The results of the study showed five main effective strategies: individual counseling, group counseling, collaboration with teachers and parents, development of learning skills, and a holistic approach. These strategies have been shown to improve students' academic understanding, social skills, learning efficiency, and reduce academic anxiety. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing comprehensive and evidence-based BK strategies to support the learning success of elementary school students.

Abstract

The Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students at Kindergarten Aisyiyah 1 Blora has only been carried out from the 2023/2024 academic year until now. The project activities that will be presented are highlighting local figures on the topic of local wisdom through the introduction of figures, the introduction of noble values, the introduction of clothes, and the introduction of the Samin pavilion which is adapted to the development stages of PAUD children. The aim of implementing the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students is to achieve the dimensions of Pancasila Students, where the dimensions that have been agreed by all school members to be achieved through this project are faith, devotion to the Almighty God and noble character, global diversity, working together. , independent, critical and creative reasoning. The selection to introduce the local figure Samin aims to be an effort for students to play a role in efforts to preserve local wisdom in Blora. The research method used is qualitative research where data is obtained from observation, interviews and documentation and concluded through qualitative descriptions. Through the implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile at Kindergarten Aisyiyah 1 Blora, it is hoped that we will continue to introduce the character of Samin and his noble values that can be applied in learning activities and become a person who reflects the Pancasila Student Profile

Abstract

Bullying at school is a serious problem that can negatively impact student’s social, emotional and academic development. School counselors have an important role in preventing and handling bullying. This research aims to examine literature review method by examining scientific articles, journals, books and other relevant sources published in the last 10 years. Keywords used in the literature search included “bullying”, “school counselor”, “intervention”, “prevention”, and “counseling”. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by identifying main themes related to the role of counselors in dealing with bullying. The literature shows that school counselors play a role ini: (1) designing and implementing bullying prevention programs, such as life skills training and character education; (2) providing crisis intervention for victims of bullying including individual and group counseling; (3) providing counseling for bullies to change aggressive behavior; and (4) collaborating with teachers, parents and other parties in creating a save and inclusive school environment. Studies show the effectiveness of counselor interventions in reducing bullying and improving student well-being. However, further research is needed regarding intervention models that are appropriate to the Indonesian context. School counselor have a crucial role in dealing with bullying. Capacity building and support is needed for counselors to be able to carry out their role optimally.

Abstract

This study compares Zoom and Google Meet in online learning to examine students' preferences and engagement. The research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Makassar with respondents from 4th-semester students of the Educational Technology Study Program. The method used was an experiment, where students attended classes using both platforms and then completed a survey. The results showed that 65% of students were more active when using Zoom, while 35% felt more comfortable with Google Meet. In terms of convenience, 60% preferred Zoom, and 40% preferred Google Meet. Zoom was favored due to its more interactive features, although Google Meet remained a simple and accessible option. In conclusion, Zoom is more effective in increasing student engagement, making it a recommended platform for online learning.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence plays an important role in individual development, especially for students who face various challenges in social and academic environments. The ability to recognize, control, and express emotions well greatly affects their mental health and social relationships. One effective strategy in improving students' emotional intelligence and self-control is group counseling. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of various group counseling techniques in improving students' emotional intelligence and self-control. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach, this research analyzed various techniques such as REBT, Symbolic Modeling, Role Playing, WDEP, Ability Potential Response (APR), Psychodrama, and Sociodrama. The results showed that group counseling made a significant contribution in helping students recognize, manage, and express emotions better. Direct experience-based techniques and cognitive reflection proved to be more effective than conventional methods. Therefore, counselors are advised to apply techniques that suit students' needs to support their emotional and social development.
