Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1. To determine the factors that cause being late to school, 2. Overcoming late arrival to school by using Self Management techniques for students at SMA N 1 Nalumsari. This research was carried out at SMA N 1 Nalumsari, the research method used was combined research (Mix Method). The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Respondents in this research were guidance and counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, fellow students, and students. The results of counselee I's research revealed that BP was a student in class XI-7. BP is one of the students who has the problem of often being late to school. According to some information collected by researchers, the problems experienced by BP are due to internal and external factors, namely internal factors because he always stays up late at night, external factors because of the influence of friends who make BP often late to school. school. Counselor II FZA is a student in class late for school.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the things that needs to be considered in learning because there are still many who think that motivation is not that important to improve learning achievement. The aim of this research is to study the effect of symbolic modeling techniques in guidance and counseling services on increasing students' learning motivation. This technique is a method in guidance and counseling services that uses pictures, videos or other stories to help students understand the concept of learning motivation. This research uses a guidance and counseling action research approach which involves several cycles, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were class X TKI 1 students at SMK Negeri 3 Madiun with low learning motivation. Data was collected from observations, interviews and special questionnaires regarding learning motivation before and after the intervention.The research results showed that students learning motivation improved significantly after intervention with symbolic modeling techniques.

Abstract

Character strength is the basis of our identity, it can be seen when we express this strength of character through thoughts and actions. The truly wonderful thing about character strengths is that they can contribute to personal well-being, the quality of relationships, and the personal community as a whole. For example, curiosity helps explore new ideas, people, places and so on. As well as making it possible to collaborate on projects and see the value of each person's contribution and the courage to help yourself get out of your comfort zone, and be able to challenge yourself. Therefore, the role of the guidance and counseling teacher is very important in increasing students' curiosity, especially in terms of education, which shows that we tend to feel happier, more connected, and more productive. Counseling teachers teach students to always have a high curiosity by exploring new things, creating new ideas, and always generating new innovations.

Abstract

Group guidance services are one of the efforts of the guidance and counseling service program, which in the process utilizes group dynamics as a form of guidance effort by providing information about cyberbullying so that students, especially the alpha generation, receive preventive measures and an understanding of what cyberbullying is. The alpha generation is a generation that was born and grew up with advances in digital technology. Abstract

The purpose of this research is improve student learning motivation in grade VII A students of SMP 1 Bae Kudus in academic years 2022/2023 before and after using guidance and group consulting services and to understanding the steps of student motivation learning using expressive writing technique able to improve students learning motivation in grade VII A students of SMP 1 Bae Kudus in academic years 2022/2023. This research is group consulting research consist of two cycles. Each cycle consist of 4 steps; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The Subject of this research is the students of grade VII A numbering 10 students. This research is group consulting research consist of two cycles. The Result of the research showed score obtained in students learning motivation increased by 12 from the initial score obtained during the pre-cycle, the average score was 9 with the Very Poor (VP), Cycle I average score was 14 with the enough (E) Category, and in cycle II the average score was 21 with the Excellent (EX) Category. Conclusion of this research is the students learning motivation can be improved after application guidance and group consulting services with expressive writing technique to class grade VII A Students of SMP 1 Bae Kudus as evidenced by the result of collaborator observations of the researcher in the implementation of cycle I obtained an average score 55 in the Poor (P) category. Cycle II obtained an average of 88 with the Excellent (EX) Category). So Guidance and group consulting services using expressive writing technique carried out by researcher from cycle I to cycle II increased by an average of 33.

Abstract

ParentaI anxiety about the career of a chiIdwith speciaI needs is an emotionaI reaction to an uncIear object because of feeIings of worry that make parents feeI that something bad will happen to the career of their chiId who is different from other normaI chiIdren, both  physicaIIy and mentaIIy. MentaIIy, emotionaIIy and experience obstacIes in achieving optimaI deveIopment so that it can hinder the fuIfiIIment of nee parentaI anxiety, chiIdren with speciaI needs, future careerds aimed at changing tgeir chiId’s Iife situation for the better. This research aims to: (1) to understand the factors that cause parentaI anxiety about the career of chiIdren with speciaI needs. (2) to find out the roIe of parents in the future career of chiIdren with speciaI needs. (3) to find out parents’ strategies for reducing parentaI anxiety about their chiId's career with speciaI needs in the future using quaIitative case study research methods and data obtained using the resuIts of observations, interviews in the form of data that matches the facts in the fieId as appropriate. From this writing, resuIts were found, then presented in the form of a quaIitative case study using an information approach so that this research is caIIed descriptive anaIysis. Based on the resuIts of the anaIysis on the two respondents, not worrying too much about the future career of chiIdren with speciaI needs had a big impact on respondent 1, because according to him it is better to equip them to prepare for their future careers by aIways inviting their chiIdren to join in seIIing and teaching them how to seII, recap orders, how to can make a profit from seIIing. PIus, having support from those cIosest to you means that you don't have to worry too much about preparing your chiId's future career. And respondent 2 said that he feIt anxious about the work of chiIdren with speciaI needs because of the Iack of skiIIs and potentiaI that the chiId had, that anxiety that no pIace of work wiII accept him, his abiIity to think makes peopIe immediateIy reject him.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement of students' communication skills through group guidance services using role playing techniques. Communication skills: Communication is a speaking skill possessed by a person that can be used in verbal and nonverbal techniques that can be used to understand or resolve a conflict constructively.This type of research is quantitative research. The method used by researchers is Quasi Experimental research. The subjects of this research were class XI Mipa 5, totaling 16 students. which will be divided into 2 groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The dependent variable in this research is improving students' communication skills, while the independent variable is group guidance services using role playing techniques.The results of this research indicate that before group guidance was carried out using the role playing technique (pretest), the condition of students' communication skills tended to be low with an average of 48.625 and after being given group guidance using the role playing technique (posttest), students' communication skills experienced a significant increase with an average of 62,375.From the results of the hypothesis test, it was found that there was a significant difference regarding students' communication skills before and after being given group guidance services using role playing techniques, with a significance of 0.012. Thus it can be concluded that implementing group guidance services using role playing techniques can improve students' communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi dampak negatif kecanduan minuman beralkohol pada siswa, seperti mengantuk di kelas, mata merah, ketidakfokusan dalam pembelajaran, perubahan suasana hati, dan penurunan prestasi akademik, dengan memberikan layanan konseling individual menggunakan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, melibatkan siswa yang mengalami kecanduan alkohol sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner, yang berfokus pada perubahan perilaku siswa sebelum dan setelah layanan konseling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling berbasis REBT efektif dalam membantu siswa mengurangi dampak negatif kecanduan alkohol, termasuk mengurangi gejala mengantuk di kelas, mata merah, dan penurunan prestasi akademik, serta meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to see the picture of mental health of final year students of the 2021 FKIP Uniba Banyuwangi class. The number of respondents in the study was 72. Students' mental health is seen from the aspects of psychological well-being and psychological stress. The results of the study showed that students' psychological well-being was in the very high category of 8.33%, high 38.88%, moderate 23.16%, low 26.38%, and very low 2.77%. The aspect of psychological stress was 15.27% very high, 18.05% high, 19.44% moderate, 25% low, and 22.22% very low. The mental health of male students was better than that of female students. The psychological well-being of male students was 56.25% high and psychological stress was 56.26% low. The psychological well-being of female students was 33.92% high and psychological stress was 14.28% low. Improvement of mental health needs to be done for further research.

Abstract

One of the essential elements in a student's life is career planning. Students must prepare themselves to compete and adapt to market demands in an era filled with global competition and rapid changes in the world of work. Good career planning helps students identify their interests, talents, and long-term goals. This research was conducted by deeply exploring the experiences, views, and perceptions of individuals regarding their careers. In this study, a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach was used. Data was collected from interviews with three Mechanical Engineering Education students at Sriwijaya University. The results of this study indicate that all three valued internship experiences and higher education in helping them prepare for their careers. They have different challenges and strategies in facing academic demands, but they all emphasize the importance of enthusiasm, effort, and time management.
