Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pendidikan karakter berperan dalam meningkatan kualitas pendidikan di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur dengan analisis data kualitatif deksriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa pendidikan karakter dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di era digital yaitu dengan cara membantu siswa membangun moral dan etika yang kuat, mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan profesional siswa, mendorong pemikiran kritis siswa, serta membantu siswa menavigasi etika di era digital. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan bahwa integritas pendidikan karakter sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital. Pendidikan karakter tidak hanya membangun moral dan etika siswa, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan siswa, pemikiran kritis, dan kesiapan untuk menghadapi tantangan modern.

Abstract

This research focuses on the problem of developing teachers' social competence in improving the learning process, this is motivated by various problems about the quality of teaching, especially at the early childhood education level. This research was conducted through descriptive methods with a qualitative approach, and technically is a case study research at Anandita Kindergarten, Klapanunggal sub-district, Bogor Regency. Through data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation, then a number of data are processed through steps: data display, data reduction and data analysis and supported by time triangulation, expert confirmation and repetition of the process. This research resulted in the following conclusions: (1) the social competence of teachers in improving the learning process at Anandita Kindergarten can be categorized as good, supported by efforts to develop the social competence of teachers by the Head of Kindergarten. (2) The obstacles that are still faced by teachers come from the weaknesses of school management, such as: weak learning support facilities, weak school budgets that have an impact on all sectors of financing, and management of cooperation and coordination between school parties and stakeholders such as the community and parents of students; (3) Strategies for developing teachers' social competencies at Anandita Kindergarten include: indirect direct coaching strategies from the head of Anandita Kindergarten, independent personal development of teachers, strategies for strengthening internal TK managerial, strategies for implementing certain innovations, strategies for strengthening internal cooperation, and strategies for strengthening external cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore creative thinking skills influenced by the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the context of Biology and Science education, ranging from secondary schools to higher education institutions. The research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology. Relevant articles were sourced from Google Scholar and Garuda databases. A total of 170 articles published within the last three years (2021–2024) were identified using targeted search strategies and were subsequently filtered systematically according to the SLR framework, resulting in 16 valid articles that met the research criteria. The findings indicate that the implementation of the PjBL model positively impacts Biology and Science learning. The analyzed articles addressed the research questions regarding similarities, differences, and the extent of the model's influence on achieving educational goals. Key similarities were observed in terms of objectives, instruments, and outcomes, whereas differences emerged in themes or topics (subject matter), integration methods, types of research, subjects, data analysis techniques, and research output. From the reviewed literature, it can be concluded that creative thinking skills are significantly influenced by the application of the PjBL model across secondary and higher education levels, particularly in Biology and Science instruction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Powtoon media on high-level thinking abilities in science learning for V grade students at SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of Pre-Experimental Design which uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were all class V students of SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands as many as 17 students. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, tests and documentation. The research instrument used was a high-level thinking ability test instrument in the form of description, observation and documentation questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis, namely the normality test and hypothesis test (paired sample t test). The results of the pretest data research (before using the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media) were that the average value obtained was 52.47. Meanwhile, the average posttest score (after using the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media) was 82.59, which is considered high. After analyzing inferential statistics using the paired sample t test, a sig (2 tailed) value of 0.001 was obtained and the test rules determined were 0.05, then the significance level value was obtained ˂ sign value 0.05 or 0.001 ˂ 0.05. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that is rejected and is accepted, this shows that the use of the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media has an effect on high-level thinking abilities in science learning for V grade students at SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands.

Abstract

Belajar matematika merupakan suatu proses yang dilalui seseorang melalui tiga simpul: tindakan mental, proses berpikir, dan proses pemahaman. Karena matematika adalah ilmu pengetahuan, maka siswa pada dasarnya harus mahir di dalamnya. Sebenarnya seseorang menggunakan simpul tiga siklus untuk melaksanakan aktivitas belajar matematika (tindakan mental - metode berpikir - cara memahami). Penilaian buku matematika ini dilakukan pada sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Humbang Hasundutan kelas XI pada materi tentang vector yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah peneliti lakukan maka dapat diambil kesimpulan mengenai telaah buku siswa matematika dilihat pada materi tentang vector dari segi penggunaan Bahasa pada buku, dari aspek Kelengkapan komponensi stematika, dari aspek syarat norma, dari aspek penyajian materi, dari aspek konten yang disajikan, dan penyelesaian contoh soal.

Abstract

The implementation of learning supervision policies often faces various challenges, limited resources, lack of supervisor competence, and weak teacher participation. This results in less than optimal education quality. The implementation of effective supervision policies is expected to encourage teachers to continue to develop their competence, thereby realizing quality learning. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods at MI Ciamis Regency. This study produces: as key factors determining the success of the implementation of learning supervision policies in improving the quality of education, including: effective, consistent and continuous implementation design, effective communication in the implementation of learning supervision policies; the support and commitment of leaders in the implementation of learning supervision policies; increasing capacity and resources as the main key to achieving the effectiveness of the implementation of learning supervision policies and realizing improvements in the quality of education; participation and involvement of stakeholders in the implementation of learning supervision policies in improving the quality of education; and evaluation of the implementation of learning supervision policies in improving the quality of education is needed.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum from the perspective of progressivism philosophy. Using the literature study method, this research analyzes various journals and related literature to identify teachers' responsibilities in bridging curriculum ideals with learning realities. The research results show that teachers are expected to be able to explore students' potential, design personalized learning, and develop students' character and creativity. In addition, teachers act as facilitators who support the development of 21st century skills through a collaborative classroom atmosphere. Developing teacher competency is an important aspect in implementing the Independent Curriculum, considering the importance of innovative skills and the use of technology in learning. This article concludes that the role of teachers is not only as transmitters of information, but also as agents of change who bring positive transformation in education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) adalah pendekatan instruksional yang berpusat pada peserta didik di mana masalah nyata yang kompleks digunakan sebagai alat untuk memajukan konsep dan prinsip pembelajaran peserta didik (Wang, 2021). Kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada mata kuliah Statistika dapat dikolaborasikan dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) berbantuan IBM SPSS Statistic 29 pada mata kuliah Statistika Terapan. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan yaitu uji rata-rata, uji proporsi, dan uji beda rata-rata, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa efektivitas penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) berbantuan SPSS IBM SPSS Statistic 29 pada mata kuliah Statistika Terapan berlangsung efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian berupaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial dengan menggunakan media interaktif berbasis online yaitu Educaplay selama proses pembelajaran. PTK ini termasuk perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 27 peserta didik kelas III A di SDN Pao-Pao. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan game edukasi yaitu Educaplay pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas III A materi Metamorfosis Makhluk Hidup, peserta didik lebih memahami materi yang di ajarkan dan permainan selama pembelajaran. Kelebihan dari media Educaplay ini adalah melatih peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis, belajar lebih menarik, mengekspresikan apa yang dipelajari secara bebas, menantang diri sendiri, belajar mandiri dan mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh media konkret dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Media konkret berfungsi sebagai alat instruksional yang dapat diraba dan diamati oleh siswa, memfasilitasi visualisasi ide-ide abstrak dalam pendidikan. Untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman siswa terhadap konten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dicirikan oleh siklus berkelanjutan dari berbagai kegiatan: persiapan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran papan KPK dan FPB secara signifikan meningkatkan prestasi akademik dan pemahaman siswa kelas lima di SDN Gowok. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang nyata untuk matematika adalah efektif, karena data menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan belajar siswa.
