Abstract

The part that needs to be improved from a student living in Al-Kamilah Foundation from an academic perspective is the ability to count and speak English. The service team teaches regularly at the Al-Kamilah Foundation once a week, to be precise on Wednesdays, to improve the numeracy skills and English of the foster children at the Foundation. Continuous training is needed to have a profound effect on increasing this ability. Teaching is carried out by lecturers from Pamulang University who have an educational background both from a scientific background in mathematics and English. The training has provided significant improvement results because this program has actually been going on for 3 semesters which are carried out continuously every week, unless it is closed during holidays and class holidays

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang rendahnya kesadaran guru untuk belajar, kurangnya kesempatan guru mengikuti pelatihan, baik secara regional maupun nasional, kurang efektifnya PKG, supervisi pendidikan yang bertujuan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran cenderung menitikberatkan pada aspek administrasi yang mengakibatkan rendahnya kinerja dan wawasan guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah supervisi edukatif kolaboratif secara periodik dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran, menilai prestasi belajar, dan dalam melaksanakan tindak lanjut penilaian prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan sekolah (PTS) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui supervisi edukatif kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan wawasan dan kinerja guru pada siklus I dalam perencanaan 71,98%, pelaksanaan 72,44%, penilaian 31,3%, tindak lanjut 59,76%, sedangkan siklus II perencaan 92%, pelaksanaan 93,81%, penilaian 90,56%, dan tindak lanjut 83%.

Abstract

Every business actor has problems with different levels of difficulty because the human resources in them come from different educational backgrounds and experiences. Problems with business management and non-standard preparation of financial reports are things that must be addressed in order to make a business more organized. This is felt by several business actors in Kaduara Barat village, Pamekasan Regency, where the majority of them run their businesses without paying attention to organized business management and proper financial reports. The results of this service are as follows: 1. The layout of the products sold in stores is more organized so that consumers feel comfortable shopping; 2. The division of tasks must be clear so that there are no overlapping jobs / positions with multiple positions; 3. In terms of service and marketing, business actors realize the need for a "touch of smile" to consumers who want to shop so that this becomes a distinct comfort for these consumers; and 4. The knowledge and ability of business actors in preparing financial reports increases so that this can be done for effective and efficient financial management in order to maximize profits.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the professionalism of teachers or educators at SMP Negeri 7 Muara Bungo through lesson study training. The methods used are lectures and discussions. This training was attended by 29 teachers from various other fields of study at the school.Lesson study training consists of three stages, namely Plan, Do, and See. The informant plan the lessons to be implemented, such as preparing learning tools and media that will be used for lesson study activities. Then, the teacher carries out the plan stage, while other teachers act as observers. The implementation stage is called (the Do stage). The see stage, the teacher with the observer or observer, reflects on the implementation of the activities in the class. This activity adds to teachers' knowledge about lesson study and gets new experiences for teachers so that they can increase teacher professional competence.

Abstract

The background of this research is from the existence of a policy for the preparation of RPP 1 Sheet initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture to help reduce the burden on teachers in the field of learning administration. This study aims to improve teacher competence to prepare RPP 1 sheet Integrated PPK, Literacy, HOTS and 21st Century Skills (4C) through In Hause Training (IHT) activities at SMP Negeri 4 Muara Bungo. The study used a School Action Research (PTS) design which consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This school action research was carried out in two cycles. The data obtained were processed qualitatively based on the percentage of achievement which was described descriptively based on the research cycle. Increasing teacher competence in preparing RPP 1 sheet integrated with In House Training (IHT) at SMP Negeri 4 Muara Bungo gave satisfactory results. The mentoring that was carried out for two cycles gave significant changes to the quality of the RPP produced. After mentoring activities, skilled teachers prepare lesson plans which contain 13 components in accordance with Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning process standards. In addition, teachers are skilled at compiling 1 sheet of RPP according to Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 14 of 2019. The lesson plans made by the teacher have also integrated 21st century character, literacy, HOTS, and skills. Quantitatively, the results of the training in cycle II, the teacher's average score was 69.46 with a percentage of 86.8% with very good criteria. So this activity has a positive impact on teacher competence in preparing RPP 1 sheet integrated KDP, literacy, HOTS, and 21st century skills (4C).

Abstract

The ability to plan lessons is an academic competency that teachers need to develop professionally. This study aims to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Muko-Muko Bathin VII in preparing lesson plans through supervision activities. This study used a School Action Research (PTS) design. This study was carried out in two cycles including PTS principles, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting in each cycle. with descriptive qualitative data processing. The research subjects were teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Muko-Muko Bathin VII. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed an increase in the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans through supervisory guidance. The increase in ability can be seen from the results of the evaluation by applying supervisory guidance to teachers in cycle I and cycle II. The teacher shows seriousness and understands the preparation of RPP Curriculum 2013 after receiving guidance for the preparation of RPP. The results of the actions of each cycle show the results of cycle 1 with an average value of 63.75, and cycle 2 with an average value of 77.50. There is an increase in the total value from 50% to 100%. Thus it can be emphasized that supervision guidance can be used as an alternative to improve the pedagogical ability of SMP Negeri 2 Muko-Muko teachers in preparing lesson plans.

Abstract

The students’ability of class IX.1 SMPN 7 Muara Bungo in writing greeting card is still low. This research is aimed to describe the using of environment sources as teaching media or mebelbasling in improving the students’writing ablity. This research is included i classroom action research with 32 students as the research subjects. This research was implemented in two cycles and each cycle consist of planning, doing, observing and reflecting. The instrument in data collecting used observation sheet, test and field note. The result showed that (1)The using of environment sources as teaching media was able to improve the student’ ability in writing greeting cardeither in content, grammar, coherence as well as the tidy. (2) The using of environment sources as teaching media was able to increasethe student’s completeness in wring english text. It’s indicated from the increasing of test result 0,5% in the first cycle and 3,08% in the second cycle.

Abstract

Era globalisasi dan kemajuan tekhnologi menjadikan setiap orang mudah menjalin komunikasi dan hubungan antar Negara. Semakin meluasnya hubungan antar manusia membuat mereka mau tidak mau harus mempelajari bahasa asing khususnya bahasa inggris sebagai bahasa internasional. Didunia pendidikan mata pelajaran bahasa inggris sudah diajarkan sejak zaman penjajahan belanda dan masih terus digunakan hingga sekarang. Sudah sejak lama pelajaran bahasa inggris menjadi mata pelajaran wajib bagi siswa tingkat menengah pertama atau SMP dan tingkat menengah atas atau SMA. Ditingkat sekolah dasar atau SD, mata pelajaran bahasa inggris sudah menjadi muatan lokal sejak tahun 1996. Mengajarkan bahasa inggris pada berbaga tingkat tidaklah sama. Pada tingkat sekolah dasar bahasa inggris lebih ditekankan pada peningkatan dan penguasaan kosakata. Selain itu para pengajar haruslah menggunakan metode yang tepat dan media yang akan menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran. Pada penelitian kali ini peneliti akan melakukan eksperimen yang berpusat pada peggunaan buku bergambar sebagai media dalam meningkatkan kosakata bahasa inggris. Dalam rangka pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan tim KKN-DR IAIN KEDIRI. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk anak-anak pada tingkat sekolah dasar yang ada di desa Sitimerto. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode pra-eksperimen ini menghasilkan sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media buku bergambar pada peningkatan kosakata ternyata terbukti. Pada penelitian ditemukan adanya pengaruh yang menunjukkan arah positif. Meskipun hasil peningkatan yang ditunjukkan tidak terlalu signifikan, hal ini membuktikan bahwa peningkatan kosakata dengan media buku bergambar membuahkan hasil.

Abstract

Coffee is a mainstay commodity in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh. Coffee beans contain chemicals such as caffeine, chlorogenic acid, trigonelin, carbohydrates, fats, amino acids, organic acids, minerals and volatile aromas that can produce aromatherapy effects. The use of synthetic air freshener has a negative impact on health because the volatile organic compounds released are classified as toxic compounds and carcinogens. Aromatherapy diffusers are a good choice to avoid these risks, apart from being a relaxation, it can also improve air quality, which in turn acts as a COVID-19 preventive effort. Through this Community Service program, the Malikussaleh University PKM teams helps coffee farmer partners to develop an aromatherapy diffuser product from sorted coffee bean waste or rejected/pixel coffee, namely coffee with broken conditions, holes, seeds that are too young and too old. This program is a strategic step in the context of pioneering and building micro-enterprises in Weh Tenang Uken Village so that it can improve the economy of the community and its surroundings.

Abstract

The beginning of 2020 until the middle of the year is quite a tough year for all countries in all parts of the world. Since this pandemic, MSMEs have been one of the sectors that have been affected. In order for MSME actors to survive in the pandemic era, they must immediately adapt by digitizing MSMEs, because in this pandemic era, residents are starting to feel comfortable with transactions made digitally. The purpose of this MSME digitization activity is to help MSMEs to survive in the face of the pandemic era and be able to face the new normal era. This activity was carried out in 3 stages: first, the creation and distribution of MSME digitization guidebooks to MSME actors, secondly the development of MSME digitization, and a survey of the results of MSME digitization development. This activity was followed by MSME actors around the village of Wonoyoso. The method used in the implementation of the community service program regarding the digitization of MSMEs is in the form of socialization and assistance to MSMEs. Based on the survey results, it is known that MSME actors have started to use digital technology to develop their business.
