Abstract

Malnutrition status among children under five in Indonesia is still a serious problem faced today. The problem of malnutrition that occurs in children under five can be handled by providing additional food (PMT). This additional food can be obtained from local food ingredients which are easy to obtain and have economic value. The aim of the research was to conduct an analysis of the effect of giving rice bran cookies and banana peels on weight gain in malnourished toddlers aged 1-4 years in Gebangmalang Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency. The type of research is an experiment using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using two treatment groups (C1 and C2). The first stage is to carry out an acceptability test to find out which cookies are most liked and carry out an analysis of the nutritional content contained in the cookies. The next stage was to intervene by providing 50 grams of cookies for 28 days to see changes in the weight of malnourished toddlers aged 1-4 years. The research uses Prettest-Posttest Group Design. Research analysis using the Krusskal Wallis test showed that there was a difference between the acceptability of rice bran cookies and banana peel cookies with a value of ρ<0.05. Furthermore, based on the Mann Whitney test, it shows that C2 cookies are proven to be the most preferred cookies compared to C1 cookies with a value of ρ<0.05. Banana peel cookies contain nutrients including macro nutrients and micro nutrients including protein, calcium, ferrous and vitamin A per 100 grams of cookies. Based on the results of the independent T-test, it shows that there is a difference in the weight gain of malnourished toddlers aged 1-4 years in the intervention group and the control group with a value of ρ<0.05, while the average weight gain of malnourished toddlers aged 1-4 years in The intervention group was higher when compared to the control group with an average weight gain ratio in the intervention group of 5.3 while the weight gain in the control group was 1.3. Providing additional food as part of treating malnutrition in children aged 1-4 years can be done by providing cookies with the addition of economical local food ingredients. It is hoped that these cookies can be an alternative for dealing with malnutrition in children under five.

Abstract

Indonesia bertekad menjadi pusat produsen halal dunia dengan potensi populasi muslim serta pangsa pasar produk halal. Keberhasilan Indonesia dalam mencapai peringkat tiga besar dalam Global Islamic Economy Indicator (GIEI) menunjukkan penguatan positif ekosistem Jaminan Produk Halal (JPH), dengan salah satu langkah strategis melalui sertifikasi halal. Undang-Undang Nomor 33 tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal (JPH) dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 39 tahun 2021 mewajibkan semua produk yang beredar di Indonesia untuk bersertifikat halal mulai Oktober 2024.Untuk mewujudkan implementasi sertifikasi halal, dilakukan rapat koordinasi antara perwakilan Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal (LPH) dan Lembaga Pendamping Proses Produk Halal (LP3H) di Sulawesi Selatan pada 5 Maret 2024. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan kampanye tentang kewajiban sertifikasi halal serta training untuk meningkatkan pencapaian target sertifikasi halal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggabungkan metode daring dan luring. Sesi training memberikan materi pendekatan Disiplin 4dx (The 4 Disciplines of Execution) dalam pencapaian wajib halal Oktober 2024.Hasil yang dicapai berupa peningkatan pemahaman dan kompetensi pencapaian target sertifikasi halal. Keterlibatan aktif stakeholder, peningkatan kapasitas, pemantauan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan, inovasi dan adaptasi, serta komunikasi efektif dalam implementasi sertifikasi halal. Kesimpulannya, implementasi Disiplin 4dx menekankan pentingnya "disiplin" dalam mencapai tujuan. Dengan fokus pada WIGs, penggunaan lead measures, pembuatan scoreboard, dan penciptaan irama akuntabilitas, diharapkan LP3H dan LPH dapat memainkan peran strategis mereka secara lebih efektif dalam mencapai tujuan wajib halal pada Oktober 2024

Abstract

st Indonesian people, especially mothers, still have low awareness of efforts to deal with the problem of plastic waste and limited knowledge to use it into handicrafts that are worth selling. For this reason, Community Service activities are carried out by offline (during training) and by online (when mentoring through whatsapp groups and video calls). This activity aims to: a) Provide training and assistance on the dangers of plastic waste and the importance of environmental conservation efforts. b. Provide training and assistance on the use of plastic waste into handicraft products with high selling value. The implementation method is by: a. Preliminary survey on plans for community service activities to the Chair and Secretary of PKK RT 08 RW 05, Airlangga Village, Gubeng District, Surabaya. b. Identify the problems faced by the PKK Management by online. c. Conduct training according to the problems faced by PKK Management by offline about ecopreneurship. d. Provide online assistance through whatsapp group media and video calls as a follow-up to the training activities that have been provided. Community service activities for PKK Management have gone well and according to plan. This activity is beneficial for the participants. That is getting knowledge about the dangers of plastic waste for the environment and the importance of environmental conservation efforts. Abstract

Teachers as mentors and facilitators of students have limited teaching hours so they cannot act as widely as possible, especially in teaching writing skills. On the other hand, students or college graduates must have good writing skills. However, most students feel less motivated to be ready to learn independently in order to improve their writing skills. The lack of student learning motivation to improve these skills is the focus of the problem in this community service agenda. This community service aims to increase student learning motivation through the socialization of journal writing to improve students' learning readiness and writing skills. The objects used were STIESIA Surabaya Semester 6 Class SMX students because most students still did not understand the concept of journal writing. The socialization event was carried out in two sessions, formally and informally, with the aim of arousing learning motivation according to students' desires and learning patterns. Session 1 was carried out formally with material provided around journal writing. Meanwhile, Session 2 was carried out informally using the one-on-one consultation method so that students could better understand their shortcomings in writing journals. The results obtained based on the guidance sheets and journal drafts collected by students showed that the socialization of journal writing could increase students' learning motivation to be more ready to learn and more skilled in writing

Abstract

Sampah dapat didefinisikan sebagai sisa-sisa bahan yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas manusia maupun hewan yang sudah tidak digunakan lagi. Stigma negatif masyarakat terhadap limbah sebagai sesuatu yang kotor dan tidak berguna sering menyebabkan pengelolaan limbah yang tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tanggapan terhadap permasalahan pengelolaan limbah yang terjadi di Desa Bermi, Kecamatan Mijen, Kabupaten Demak. Pengelolaan limbah di Desa Bermi menghadapi beberapa tantangan, salah satunya adalah tingkat kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi dan arahan kepada masyarakat agar terlibat aktif dalam proses pengelolaan limbah di Desa Bermi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada peserta sosialisasi. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survei lapangan dan sosialisasi dengan melibatkan perwakilan RT, RW, IPNU IPPNU, dan perangkat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan limbah di Desa Bermi masih belum optimal, terutama karena keterbatasan fasilitas tempat pembuangan sampah yang layak. Oleh karena itu, saran yang dapat diberikan adalah melakukan sosialisasi tentang pengelolaan limbah yang baik dan benar, serta membangun fasilitas tempat penampungan limbah yang sesuai standar.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia, especially at the elementary school level, requires an innovative approach to improve the quality of learning. Technological advances have undergone major changes and are moving towards digital education. Natural Sciences (IPA) is one of the most important subjects at the elementary school level. Student understanding is often hampered by the limited learning media available. The results of observations with direct observation show that there is no interesting learning media in science learning on the life cycle of living things. Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be a solution to overcome this problem. One AR application that is very suitable for use in elementary school learning is Quiver-3D Coloring. The purpose of this service is to introduce technology, raise learning motivation, and find out students' responses to the use of the Quiver-3D Coloring Augmented Reality media. The instruments used are motivation questionnaire sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. The target of the program is 4th grade students of UPTD SD Negeri Karangtumaritis, with 39 respondents. The results of the activity show that; 1) The implementation of the program "Introduction to Augmented Reality Quiver-3d Coloring Technology in Science Learning on the Life Cycle of Living Things at SDN 1 Karangtumaritis Haurgeulis Indramayu" has generally been carried out well (successfully) in accordance with the planned goals and targets; 2) The description of student motivation after learning with the Augmented Reality Quiver-3D Coloring application media on the life cycle of living things is included in the very high category with a motivation percentage of 85.07%; 3) The description of student responses to "science learning on the life cycle of living things" with the Augmented Reality Quiver-3D Coloring application generally responded well (positively) with a percentage of 95.90%; and 4) The description of student responses to "the use of the Augmented Reality Quiver-3D Coloring application media" in Science Learning on the life cycle of living things, generally responded well (positively) with a percentage of 95.90%.

Abstract

Desa Mayong Kidul merupakan desa yang memiliki potensi UMKM. salah satunya adalah Soko Kidul. Dengan adanya usaha tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu mengembangkan usaha mikro, meningkatkan pendapatan, mengurangi angka pengangguran. Dan usaha tersebut akan menjadikan para pelaku usaha memiliki kemampuan untuk mandiri. dengan berkembangnya zaman banyak hasil olahan dari mainan soko kidul yang dijadikan sebagai sumber mata pencaharian. Namun dalam proses tersebut tidak sedikit pihak yang belum memahami pemasaran secara digital. Permasalahan umum yang terjadi adalah produksi, manajemen usaha, pemasaran, peningkatan pelayanan, serta SDM yang masih rendah Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini diantaranya:. Pengrajin Mainan ( Soko Kidul) yang mampu mengoperasikan hp berbasis android dan memasarkan produk di E-commerce dan platform Digital, untuk memudahkan mitra agar keanggotaan lebih terstruktur, Pelanggan tertarik dan memahami isi dari label tersebut mulai dari (merk dan komposisi), agar penjualan bisa menjangkau ke ranah yang lebih lebar seperti, swalayan dan mall. Metode yang dilakukan terdiri dari Observasi dan Wawancara, Pengabdian, Pelatihan digital marketing, dan Penerapan tekhnologi ilmu pengetahuan. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian yang diperoleh adalah mitra mendapatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan, tentang pembukuan keuangan, Penyusunan stok opname dan pengembangan design kemasan produk yang lebih menarik, pengalaman dalam meroasting soko kidul dan pengaplikasian platform digital marketing agar pemasaran meluas

Abstract

Salah satu media yang dianggap tepat dalam menyampaikan pesan ialah media Pop-Up Book yang merupakan salah satu jenis media berbasis cetakan. Sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan media Pop-Up Book dilaksanakan di TK Pertiwi 44 Kelurahan Sukorejo, Gunungpati, Semarang. Adapun alasan diadakanya kegiatan tersebut,karena dirasa TK Pertiwi 44 belum melakukan secara maksimal dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media lain selain majalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: pertama, Pemberian pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang pentingnya media dan penerapannya dalam proses belajar mengajar. Pemberian wawasan tentang media pembelajaran yang sesuai. Pemberian materi disampaikan oleh dosen pengampu media pembelajaran. Kedua, pengenalan Pop-Up Book sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam kelas, dan yang terakhir pelatihan pembuatan Pop-Up Book beserta penentuan Langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam kelas yang dilakukan oleh seluruh tim pengabdi dan guru-guru. Hasil dari pengabdian ini merujuk pada indikator keberhasilan kegiatan yaitu peserta paham dan mengerti apa itu media pembelajaran, pentingnya media pembelajaran apa itu Pop-Up Book serta apa manfaatnya sebagi media pembelajaran, peserta mampu membuat Pop-Up Book, dan peserta mampu menjelaskan langkah penggunaan Pop-Up Book yang telah dibuatnya.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of community service implementation as one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which must be followed by students where students collaborate with lecturers to apply knowledge and competencies according to their scientific fields to the community. The purpose of this community service is to help solve problems in the community, precisely in the business / industrial world through innovations in processing smoked fish into shredded. The implementation method in this community service is socialization, education, and community training in order to achieve the results of planning and developing innovations in processing smoked fish into shredded. The results of this community service are as follows. (1) Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an integral part of the people's economy that has a strategic position to realize an increasingly balanced, developing and equitable national economic system. (2) Smoked fish is fish preserved through fumigation. Innovating the processing of smoked fish into shredded fish which is processed through the boiling stage, frying and pressing or oil separation, but previously the ingredients that have passed the shredding stage with a small size which aims to facilitate the process of roasting fish and seasonings (3) Making Shredded Smoked Fish Product Labels, (4) Development of Shredded Smoked Fish Product Packaging and (5) Development of Promotion Systems and Distribution of Shredded Smoked Fish Products.

Abstract

EM HA DE Collection is a sewing convection that only sews school uniforms, besides that EM HA DE Collection does marketing in the traditional way or word of mouth. From this, the UNISNU Jepara XIV KKN Team in Pelemkerep 1 Village assisted and socialized convection owners to make new products other than school uniforms so that the idea emerged to make t-shirts. In addition, in handling marketing issues, assistance is carried out in creating an online shop account that uses shopee as marketing. Only need a gadget or smartphone from the owner to be able to run online marketers using shopee. So that the target achieved is to increase the sales turnover of EM HA DE collection in a short time.
