Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of reward and punishment on the performance of employees on PT. Insurance Tania Medan. A reward that is not timely and not consistent with the employee's work. Evaluation of punishment for employees repeatedly committing the same mistake. Employee performance is less optimal due to the motivation of companies that are still less optimum. The population of 40 employees remains as a saturated sample. Data collection methods are observations, interviews, documentation, questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using double linear regression. The test results t obtained Sig reward and Sig punishment values of 0,000<0.05 then the variable is distributed normally. The test result F is 17.082 and the test value Sig is 0.000<0.05 then it is simultaneously variable so that Ha is accepted and means that the variables are simultaneusly influenced by the employee performance variable. The result of the test determination coefficient (R2) on the R Square column is 0.693, then the reward variable and punishement influence employee performances variables of 69.3% and the remaining 30.7% are affected by other variables other than these regression equations or variables not studied. Employee motivation and performance provided by the company will be very useful to boost employee confidence and drive employee performance by giving rewards when employees can their goals and punishment when employees are negligent in their work. Keywords: Reward, Punishment, Employee Performance

This study uses a qualitative approach, the type of phenomenological research, and the descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out by; participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis process is carried out starting from; data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data by triangulation and member checks. The results of this study are (1) Planning for extracurricular activities in the formation of students' character is carried out in the form of preparing extracurricular activity programs which are then used as a reference in its implementation. The program development process is preceded by an analysis of the required resources, collaboratively enforced, and socialized at the beginning of the school year. (2) Organizing extracurricular activities in forming the character of students as a whole is integrated with the madrasa organization. The organizing process consists of; determination of resources, the division of tasks according to their field of expertise, determined by the Decree of the Head of Madrasah, making agreements to shape the character of students through routine activities, for example, spontaneous action, and conditioning. (3) The direction of extracurricular activities in the formation of the character of students is carried out to ensure that the implementation of activities is directed at the goals that have been set in the planning. The briefing process includes; implementation of activities according to the plan, the pattern of activities includes (introduction, core, closing), teachers/coaches prioritize exemplary, effective leadership, problem-solving together, commitment to tasks, functions, and roles, (4) Control of extracurricular activities in the formation of student character implemented through; monitoring, assessment, and reporting. The control process includes; monitoring the implementation of activities, evaluating activities through process assessments and results assessments, the majority of students obtain satisfactory results, but still need to optimize the existing elements in planning, organizing, directing and controlling, and efforts to improve the readiness of the supporting components are needed. Keywords: Management, Extracurricular, Character

Abstract

The Effect of Adding Natural Ingredients to Artificial Feed on the Color Brightness Level of Goldfish (Cyprinus carpio Linn). This research aims to determine the effect of adding natural ingredients to artificial feed on the level of color brightness of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio Linn), and the growth rate and survival rate of the test fish. The method used in this research is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications with a feeding frequency of three times per day with a percentage of 5% of the body weight of the test fish, a natural ingredient used in making artificial feed. These are pumpkin flour (Cucurbita moschata), mangosteen rind flour (Garcinia mangostana L), and carrot flour (Daucus carota L) with the same dose in each treatment, namely 25% of 1 kg of feed. Based on the results of variance analysis, the brightness level of goldfish color has a very real influence. The highest increase in the color of the test fish was obtained in treatment A, pumpkin flour, amounting to (1.37) on the Toca color finder scale (from pale orange to dark orange), followed by the second highest in treatment C, carrot flour, amounting to (1.2), treatment B flour. Mangosteen peel was in third position with an increase in color of (0.94) and the lowest increase in color change occurred in treatment D (control = without the addition of natural ingredients) of 0.7. However, absolute weight and length growth did not have a real influence. The overall graduation rate is 87.49%. The average water quality parameters are temperature 26-29oC, pH 7.5-7.9 and ammonia 0.25 ppm.

Abstract

ABSTRACTCareer is a person's progress in a job that is obtained through training or work experience during his life. The stages in a career start from knowing the type of job you are interested in based on your expertise, so there is a reference for finding the job you want. After knowing the job you want, the next step is to stay focused and deepen your skills in that field, so you can master the job you're looking for. Based on these stages, a system is needed that can recommend careers that can assist students in determining careers that match their potential based on their academic grades. In this study, the K-Means algorithm was used to analyze the problem. This study designed a k-means algorithm analysis system for career suitability recommendations for web-based students using HTML, PHP, CSS and XAMPP programming languages. The method used in this study is the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. This research is able to provide career recommendations for students using the k-means clustering algorithm for three types of careers, namely Web Engineer, Programmer and Software Engineering. This study produces an accuracy rate of 96.6% with manual calculations with results in the system This research is able to provide career recommendations for students using the k-means clustering algorithm for three types of careers, namely Web Engineer, Programmer and Software Engineering. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aims to discuss the axiological values and sources of knowledge for humans. This research uses the Semut Sumut non-formal education organization as a case study. This article employs a qualitative interpretive approach by conducting library research, specifically by looking at reading materials related to the studies presented and using document analyses of earlier research findings associated with the philosophy of science. Books rading, scientific journals on Google Scholar, and digital libraries were combed through to acquire the data. Results of this study show that axiological values as a source of knowledge can be reflected in social movements by providing non-formal education platforms for children who have dropped out of school or even have no opportunity at all to go to school. The axiological value of social movements contains elements of being functional, robust, valid or strong which means the quality of something that makes it liked, appreciated and appreciated by other parties. In addition, two supporting elements in non-formal learning materials further strengthen the axiological perspective as a source of knowledge, namely ethics and aesthetics.
