Abstract

The objective of this study is to obtain empirical evidence and conduct an analysis of the impact of Knowledge Management Implementation on Employee Performance within the Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Division at PT Prima Multi Peralatan. This research adopts a quantitative, survey-based approach employing an associative method. The study population consists of all employees within the RTG Division at PT Prima Multi Peralatan, located at the Belawan Container Terminal, totaling 58 individuals, with the sample size comprising the entire population (census sampling). Data collection was conducted directly by the researcher through observations, the administration of structured questionnaires, and the review of relevant documentation. This study employs a quantitative descriptive methodology, with data analysis designed to test the hypotheses and address the research questions posed. The data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 3 software.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the impact of advancements in information technology on management accounting. The study employs descriptive qualitative methods and a literature review. Findings indicate that technological progress has led to significant transformations in the business sector. Various information systems now incorporate emerging technologies, including electronic data processing systems, data processing systems (DPS), decision support systems (DSS), management information systems (MIS), expert systems (ES), and accounting information systems (AIS). Information technology development also affects management accounting, as it generates information essential for planning, control, and decision-making processes. Consequently, the influence of information technology on management accounting can either benefit or challenge businesses.

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between financial management practices and corporate performance. It aims to analyze how key components such as cash management, debt management, working capital management, and capital structure impact the financial outcomes of firms, using performance indicators like Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The study highlights the importance of efficient cash flow management, strategic debt usage, and optimized working capital in driving profitability and stability. Additionally, the research identifies how technology, particularly financial management software and big data analytics, plays a pivotal role in enhancing decision-making processes. The findings suggest that companies adopting a balanced approach to financial management, coupled with technological advancements, experience better financial performance and long-term sustainability. This paper provides actionable insights for business managers, financial analysts, and policymakers aiming to improve financial management strategies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the budgeting process from a sociological perspective, linking it to the phenomena observed during the 2020 simultaneous regional elections at KPU Jember. Using Institutional Isomorphism Theory, the research explores how these phenomena are reflected in the budgeting process. A qualitative approach with a case study methodology was employed, with data collected through interviews with key actors involved in the preparation of the 2020 regional election budget in Jember Regency. The analysis reveals that three mechanisms of institutional isomorphism (mimetic, coercive, and normative) were evident in the budgeting process. The findings demonstrate that sociological factors are integral to the budgeting process, as shown by the application of these isomorphism mechanisms at KPU Jember.

Abstract

This research utilizes Porter's Five Forces analysis to assess the development strategies for the competitive advantage of the Aroma Khas Poncokusumo Tempe Chip MSMEs. The primary advantages of these MSMEs are their unique fermentation process, consistent product quality, and high traditional value. Challenges such as the threat of substitute products, supplier dependency, and raw material price fluctuations require innovative approaches. Product diversification, branding enhancement, digital marketing, and customer loyalty programs are identified as effective solutions. These strategies are supported by workforce training and production optimization to ensure business sustainability. This holistic approach enables MSMEs to thrive in a competitive market and contribute to the local economy.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of Country of Origin, Celebrity Endorser, and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) on the purchasing decisions of Innisfree skincare products among university students. Utilizing a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, the study involved 293 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique to evaluate the relationships among variables. The results reveal that Country of Origin, Celebrity Endorser, and E-WOM significantly and positively affect purchasing decisions. The study's implications provide insights for consumers to understand how factors such as Country of Origin, Celebrity Endorser, and E-WOM can shape their purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The presence of increasingly sophisticated digital technology has brought extraordinary changes and progress to human life. One digital technology that is often used is online applications. In this modern era, transportation has become an important support for daily activities, especially in urban areas. Based on a survey conducted by Inrix 2023, it was stated that the city of Medan has the highest level of congestion in large cities in Indonesia. Companies providing online transportation services are expected to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of customer experience, brand image, price perception on customer loyalty through Gojek customer satisfaction at the University of North Sumatra.

Abstract

Abstract

Good regional financial management requires accurate and transparent administration. With a good governance system, local governments can present accurate financial reports, which is the basis for financial accountability. The expenditure treasurer has an important role in managing regional finances, especially in terms of budget expenditure. The purpose of the study is to find out the process of implementing the administration and accountability of the expenditure treasurer based on the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 77 of 2020. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection method through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Regional Inspectorate of North Sulawesi Province in the implementation of administration and accountability to the expenditure treasurer is in accordance with Permendagri Number 77 of 2020.

Abstract

This study examines young entrepreneurs' perceptions of factors influencing entrepreneurial success in the Society 5.0 era. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 72 Economics students from 2021 to 2023 at UIN Malang. Key variables include education, experience, strategy, innovation, and technology, which were analyzed using SmartPLS 3. The findings show that these factors significantly enhance entrepreneurial success, emphasizing their critical roles in fostering entrepreneurship. The study theoretically reinforces the importance of these elements in entrepreneurship. Practically, it suggests revising curricula to integrate practical experiences and advanced technologies while advising young entrepreneurs to focus on innovation and strategic planning. This research supports young entrepreneurs in navigating challenges and enriches the literature on entrepreneurship in the Society 5.0 era.
