Abstract

Evaluation of communication strategies is very important to measure the success and follow-up of waste management programs by the Environmental Service (DLH) of Kediri Regency. The previous communication strategy evaluation model was considered ineffective and did not provide comprehensive information. This study aims to apply the AIDDA model ( Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, Action ) in waste management program evaluation activities in Kediri Regency based on the theory of environmental communication sociology. Researchers examine the comparison of communication strategy evaluation results before and after using the AIDDA model. In addition, assess community involvement and identify factors that influence the success of this model. The research method is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The number of informants in this study was 6 people, namely 3 staff of the DLH PSLB3 division and 5 waste managers in five villages in Kediri Regency. The results of the study found that the evaluation of the AIDDA model communication strategy can ensure the effectiveness of communication, increase community participation, optimize resource use, improve program sustainability, and provide empirical evidence of the effectiveness of communication strategies. The results of this study can provide valuable information for DLH and stakeholders to design more effective communication strategy evaluations in waste management programs, environmental responsibility programs and sustainability support according to needs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of school management and organizational culture on the performance of middle school teachers in Kepulauan Meranti Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach, relying on data from a population of civil servant teachers in 41 middle schools in Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The total population sampled in this study consists of 143 teachers. Data were collected through direct distribution of questionnaires to respondents in a field study. Regression analysis methods were used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables (school management and organizational culture) and the dependent variable (teacher performance). The results of the data analysis show that simultaneously, school management and organizational culture have a significant impact on teacher performance. The calculated F value (8.945) is greater than the table F value (2.67), and the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, indicating that these variables collectively have a significant impact on the performance of middle school teachers in Kepulauan Meranti Regency. This study is limited to the population of civil servant middle school teachers in Kepulauan Meranti Regency, so the results may not be generalizable to teachers in other regions or with different employment statuses. The findings of this study provide practical implications for school administrators and educational policymakers to enhance teacher performance through improvements in school management and organizational culture, as well as effective workload management. This research contributes to the literature on the impact of school management, organizational culture, and workload on teacher performance in remote areas, which has been understudied.

Abstract

This research discusses about Multicultural Pedagogy Responds to the Problem of Radicalism Entering Campus. Our social conditions today are not good. The real threat of radicalism does not only target vulnerable institutions or communities that do not have adequate immunity to thought. However, the fact that campus communities are also exposed to forbidden ideology, radicalism, is an indicator that all institutions or communities have the same potential to be exposed. This reality urges all parties, especially education practitioners and all stakeholders, to fight together against the common enemy called radicalism. Multicultural pedagogy discussed in this article is one alternative solution that can be implemented in responding to the real threat of radicalism. In addition, the roadmap to support this solution is strengthening religious moderation and a collaborative spirit from all stakeholders. United we stand, divided we fall.

Abstract

This study was conducted to see how the improvement of students' conceptual understanding ability taught with the Novick learning model design with a population of all students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP UHN Medan and the sample was all students who took the mathematics learning outcome evaluation course. With the random sampling technique, two classes were selected as one class experimental group and one class as the control group. The results of the study obtained were that all learning devices designed were declared valid and suitable for use, as seen from the final value of the validator as a whole, which was in the assessment interval of 4.50-5.00 , with the category of "very good". The results of the ANOVA showed that there was an increase in students' conceptual understanding abilities caused by the treatment and the results of the post hoc Scheffe test showed that at each class level interaction it was marked with the symbol (*) which means that the increase that occurred was significantly influenced by the treatment.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is to increase efficiency, transparency and sustainability in increasingly complex and challenging agribusiness supply chains. The aim of this research is to develop an integrated system that combines IoT capabilities in collecting agricultural data in real-time, AI to analyze data and provide recommendations for action, as well as security and transparency guaranteed by blockchain technology. The method used is a mixed methods approach, this approach combines qualitative and quantitative elements to obtain a deeper understanding. A qualitative approach is used to gain a contextual perspective, while a quantitative approach is used to measure performance empirically. This research uses a case study design on a sensor-based agricultural monitoring system because of its ability to provide in-depth and holistic insights. The research population consists of users and stakeholders in sensor-based agricultural monitoring systems. The sample was selected purposively to cover various aspects of the supply chain. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, surveys of system users and collection of sensor and transaction data from agricultural monitoring systems. The research results show that the integration of IoT, AI, and blockchain significantly improves operational efficiency in agribusiness supply chains. Implementation of this integrated system resulted in an increase in productivity of up to 22%, a reduction in pesticide use by 35%, an increase in water use efficiency by 30%, and a reduction in operational costs by 18%. Statistical analysis confirmed a strong positive correlation between the use of integrated technology and increased operational efficiency (R=0.85, p<0.01).

Abstract

Indonesia's tobacco exports are currently experiencing a setback. For this reason, this research uses the ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag) model with variables of production, land area, international prices and exchange rates which influence Indonesian Tobacco Exports both in the short and long term. For the short term, the ARDL model forecasting variables for production, land area, international prices and exchange rates have a significant effect on Indonesian tobacco exports, while for the long term the variables of international prices and exchange rates have a significant effect on Indonesian tobacco exports.
