Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a low literacy rate compared to others, making the enhancement of literacy levels for students a top priority in today's educational world. Therefore, the government has launched the Gerakan Literasi Narional to improve students' literacy rate. Additionally, with the advancement of technology, literacy has also evolved through the use of digital technology, commonly known as digital literacy. This digital literacy leverages the world of digital technology to enhance students' literacy levels, making them more creative and knowledgeable about the uses of digital technology. This research determined the implementation of digital literacy at SD Sondakan 11. This study aimed to explore the implementation of digital literacy at SD Sondakan 11 and its alignment with regulations regarding the National Literacy Movement. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data sources from interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the school principal and the coordinating teacher. The findings showed that SD Sondakan 11 has implemented a digital literacy program by incorporating it into the curriculum as an extracurricular activity, and its implementation aligns well with the principles of the Gerakan Literasi Nasional. This research is expected to provide insights for implementing digital literacy in schools to develop students' skills and creativity in using technology as a learning tool in school.

Abstract

Resolving disputes related to foreign investment is not as straightforward as one might think, as it involves investment disputes that engage two or more legal systems. Therefore, the resolution is not solely determined by the law applicable within the territory of Indonesia, but also takes into account the laws of other countries participating in the convention. When a settlement between the parties cannot be reached, the dispute can be resolved through an arbitration body designated by the parties to facilitate the resolution or through conventional judicial bodies in accordance with their authority as regulated by legislation. Alternative dispute resolution through arbitration will be more efficient and effective as it is achieved through deliberation and consensus or a win-win solution. This research is descriptive in nature, aiming to provide an overview or description of the law on divestment in foreign companies in Indonesia. As a descriptive study, a normative approach is used, focusing on the examination of legal principles, legal systems, vertical and horizontal synchronization of legislation, and legal history. The Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) serves as a legal basis that needs to be revised. The initial role of this agreement was to attract investors to enter Indonesia, with the hope of reaching a balanced agreement between the two countries. However, in practice, the BIT has become the foundation relied upon by foreign investors in Indonesia. The recommendation made in this study is that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, in establishing Bilateral Investment Treaties, must include clear provisions so that the description of the agreement does not overlap with the positive law already established in Indonesia.

Abstract

Gastronomy is a study that covers various aspects such as food, culture, history, and identity of a society. In Lampung society, gastronomy is closely related to local values called piil pesenggiri, which is a philosophy of life that emphasizes honor, dignity, and social solidarity. This study aims to understand the relationship between traditional Lampung cuisine and the values of piil pesenggiri in building the cultural identity of the local community. Traditional foods such as seruit, tempoyak, and kemplang crackers are not just dishes, but also a medium to maintain togetherness and social harmony. With a qualitative approach through literature studies and interviews with Lampung community leaders, this study found that values such as deliberation, togetherness, and respect for nature are manifested in the practice of serving, consuming, and preserving traditional foods. This shows that gastronomy is not only part of culture, but also a tool to strengthen local identity and preserve local wisdom in facing changing times. This study shows that culinary in Lampung society has a broader role than just fulfilling food needs. This cuisine also reflects the local wisdom contained in the philosophy of Piil Pesenggiri, which emphasizes the values of honor, togetherness, and responsibility. The novelty of this study Food in Lampung has a deep symbolic meaning, especially in various traditional events, such as weddings and thanksgiving, where food serves to strengthen social relationships and show respect to guests.

Abstract

There are many forms of unfair business competition regulated in Law Number 5 of 1999 concerning the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition (Law No. 5 of 1999). One of them is horizontal tender collusion. In practice, this is very easy to do because business actors can collude to arrange or determine who will be the winner of the tender. On the other hand, this can actually be done by one person who has control over existing companies or is termed the beneficial owner of the company. By applying the principle of recognizing the beneficial owner of companies participating in government procurement of goods/services, this can prevent horizontal tender collusion so as to create a conducive business climate and provide a guarantee of equal business opportunities for all business actors

Abstract

This article aims to explore the existence of Suran in the appreciation of the people of Kahuripan hamlet, Kalirejo village, Bagelen District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java for the realization of intergenerational ecology (intergenerational eco). The research approach used is a qualitative approach with narrative-descriptive data analysis techniques. Data were collected through interviews and literature studies. Research sources came from intergenerational Kahuripan villagers who knew and experienced the Suran tradition. The theory used as an analytical knife is Anthony Giddens' structuration theory and generation theory. This study found that three layers of generations do not know the background of abstinence and Suran rituals, but they believe that Suran is an ancestral heritage that must be preserved. People consider the month of Sura as a sacred month. The sacredness of Sura makes people do "reresik" (cleaning themselves, cleaning life), fasting and abstaining from holding celebrations, abstaining from traveling far without a clear purpose, and pasa mutih. All of this is done as a practice that keeps away from seeking pleasures so that fuel, electricity, water and other natural resources are saved. Data analysis proves the importance of Suran's re-existence to realize ecology carried out by all people at the same time and continuously. The acts of abstinence in the Suran rite show the strength of the ecological movement carried out by all generations (intergenerational). In the end, this research concludes that the re-existence of Suran as a collective life of the Kahuripan hamlet community can act as an intergenerational eco-movement.

Abstract

Corruption is a critical issue that hampers development in many countries, including Indonesia. Its effects are not confined to economic losses but extend to societal, political, and legal structures. Corruption undermines democratic processes by allowing individuals or groups with money and power to influence elections, policy-making, and the judiciary, often at the expense of public interest. This distorts representation and diminishes public confidence in democratic systems. In societies where corruption becomes normalized, it can lead to a cultural acceptance of unethical behavior, diminishing the importance of honesty, fairness, and accountability. This can have long-term negative effects on the moral fabric of society, especially for younger generations. This article examines the relationship between anti-corruption laws and social change, focusing on how legal frameworks can be utilized as instruments for reducing corruption. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this analysis explores how Indonesia’s anti-corruption laws and their enforcement impact the broader social dynamics. The conclusion drawn is that while legal measures are essential, significant social transformation is still required to combat corruption effectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine students' civics learning outcomes using contextual methods. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the contextual learning approach is suitable for use in civics learning in schools. By relying on previously existing ideas and understandings to be interpreted based on works that trigger discussion, the author of this study used descriptive-critical research with a greater focus on the strength of the analysis of existing sources and data. The results of the study showed that students were more confident, teachers were more responsive to students' needs, and student learning outcomes in class increased. The increasing seriousness and enthusiasm of students, the decreasing gap in knowledge between them, their increasing desire to learn outside of school, the emergence of innovative ideas from students and teachers to improve the quality of education in their respective schools, and the growing sense of unity and synergy between students and teachers are contributing factors. As a result, students actively participate in the learning process, so that learning becomes more meaningful. The results of observations during civics learning showed that students began to actively ask questions to build their understanding of Pancasila values. Students were able to share thoughts about other students' experiences of Pancasila values during group learning activities. Thus, it can be said that students' PPKn learning outcomes can be improved by using contextual learning strategies
