Abstract

This qualitative research investigates how multiperspectivity and critical discourse analysis can reconstruct historical consciousness among secondary school students in Indonesia. Conducted across five secondary institutions with 205 student participants and 15 educators, this study employs thematic analysis of interviews, classroom observations, and student essays to examine students' engagement with multiple historical narratives. The research reveals significant disparities in how different historical perspectives—nationalist, colonial-critical, subaltern, international, and gender-based—are integrated into curricula and student consciousness. Findings demonstrate that systematic implementation of multiperspective pedagogy increases critical historical thinking from 45% to 78% among participants, while evidence evaluation competency improves by 52%. The study concludes that Historia Docet—history teaches—requires institutional commitment to pedagogical pluralism, teacher professional development in critical discourse analysis, and curriculum redesign emphasizing narrative multiplicity. These findings have implications for Indonesian secondary education policy, suggesting that historical consciousness is not constructed through monolithic narratives but through iterative engagement with competing perspectives and evidence evaluation.

Abstract

Edugastro-tourism, which integrates gastronomy and educational experiences, offers opportunities to preserve local food heritage and promote sustainable rural development. This study examines stakeholder collaboration in Hanjeli Tourism Village, located within the Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark, Indonesia, where hanjeli (Coix lacryma-jobi L.) serves as the primary gastronomic attraction. A qualitative approach was employed using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) methods—historical mapping, resource mapping, and institutional relationship (Venn) diagrams—with data collected through focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results identified 18 stakeholders, comprising nine internal and nine external actors. Among them, the women farmers’ group emerged as the most influential stakeholder, closely linked with the daily management of edugastro-tourism, while universities and donor institutions provided strategic contributions through research, innovation, and capacity building. Collaborative practices included developing hanjeli-based food products, establishing homestays, organizing cultural performances, and creating educational tour packages. The findings demonstrate that multi-stakeholder collaboration fosters synergy between tourism, gastronomy, conservation, and food security. Internal stakeholders play a pivotal role in operational activities, while external stakeholders contribute strategically to long-term sustainability. This synergy strengthens governance, diversifies tourism products, and enhances the competitiveness of Hanjeli Tourism Village as a tourism destination.

Abstract

As Tempo Magazine’s print circulation declined and audiences increasingly turned to digital platforms, the company explored new formats for delivering journalism. One such innovation is the Bocor Alus Politik podcast, which offers more dynamic and accessible content. Ideally, media organizations should continue to serve as watchdogs while also seeks alternative revenue models to reduce dependence on advertising. This study focus on how the Bocor Alus Politik podcast leverages market forces to support Tempo’s business growth and address existing gaps in the literature. Adopting a qualitative method within a constructivist paradigm, the research draws on observations, analysis of YouTube content, and interviews with Tempo’s senior management and the main podcast host. Findings suggest that the podcast has significantly broadened Tempo’s reach—especially to regions previously unreachable by the print edition—and has contributed to growth in digital subscriptions and public engagement through stock ownership, particularly among millennials. Bocor Alus Politik represents Tempo’s strategic response to shifts in media consumption habits. Future studies on media economics should focus on geographic markets and the factors that shape the podcasting sector to gain a deeper understanding of these developments.

Abstract

This study explored the dynamics of symbolic interaction within inclusive classrooms at SMP Negeri 1 Palu, demonstrating that social interaction serves as a foundational mechanism shaping both pedagogical processes and the meaning of inclusion itself. The research revealed two predominant patterns—peer support interaction, emerging spontaneously through academic assistance, emotional support, and social advocacy, and dialogic interaction with teachers, functioning as reciprocal communication that enables inclusive students to construct meaning and negotiate their identities. These patterns operate across four critical dimensions: identity formation through social mirroring, emotional regulation through socioemotional support, cognitive mediation through scaffolding, and social transmission of knowledge through observational learning. However, the study also uncovered significant constraints—peer support proves stronger in social than academic contexts, dialogic interaction requires resources often unavailable, and students with severe communication barriers may remain marginalized despite institutional commitment. These findings shift analytical focus from policy frameworks to lived relational dynamics, demonstrating that inclusion transcends physical presence to require authentic social spaces where equality and acceptance are continuously negotiated. As Indonesia strengthens its commitment to inclusive education, lasting progress demands sustained attention to the quality and responsiveness of everyday classroom interactions—for it is within these interactions that inclusion is ultimately made, negotiated, and lived, compelling us to ask whether educational systems are truly prepared to prioritize and sustain the relational conditions that make authentic inclusion possible.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in driving economic growth, innovation, and employment generation, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This study examines the determinants of entrepreneurial intention (IB) among undergraduate students at four private universities in West Jakarta—Universitas Tarumanagara, Universitas Bina Nusantara, Universitas Podomoro, and Universitas Trisakti—using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as the theoretical framework. The research specifically investigates the effects of entrepreneurial education (PK), perceived behavioral control (PBC), and adversity quotient (KA) on entrepreneurial intention, while also testing the moderating role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ED). Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 210 respondents who had taken entrepreneurship courses, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. The results demonstrate that entrepreneurial education and perceived behavioral control are the strongest predictors of entrepreneurial intention, explaining 71.7–72.4% of its variance. Results of this research, shows that entrepreneurial self-efficacy is significantly moderating effects of strengthening the relationship between adversity quotient and intention while reducing the marginal impact of education among highly confident students. Overall, the findings extend the TPB by incorporating both psychological and sociocultural dimensions, highlighting that entrepreneurial intention formation is shaped not only by knowledge and perceived capability but also by confidence and contextual differences. The study recommends integrating experiential, gender-inclusive, and resilience-based approaches into entrepreneurship education to foster stronger entrepreneurial mindsets among university students
