Abstract

In learning Arabic, students of the Arabic language education program at the Islamic State Institute of Palopo cannot be separated from the factors that make learning Arabic challenging. This research examines the impact of the "Weekly Seminar" program on improving the acquisition of Arabic grammar among students in the Arabic Language Teaching Department at the State Islamic Institute of Palopo. The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the "Weekly Seminar" program's impact on enhancing the ability of students in the Arabic Language Teaching Department to acquire Arabic grammar. This research is quantitative and descriptive, and the methods of data collection include observation, interviews, and pre- and post-tests. The research sample consists of 19 students from the Arabic Language Teaching program at the State Islamic Institute of Palopo who participated in the "Weekly Seminar" program. The research results indicate the acceptance of H and rejection of H, with the calculated = 11.25 > 1.734, which means H is accepted and H is rejected. The conclusion is that there is a significant difference between the final scores (post-test) and the initial scores (pre-test). Also, from the mean, it is shown that (X2) = 78 > 61 (X1). Therefore, it can be concluded that the weekly seminar affects the improvement of Arabic grammar among students in the Arabic Language Teaching program at the State Islamic Institute of Palopo.

Abstract

This research aims (1) to determine the implementation of the Qira’ah method in Arabic language learning for eleventh-grade students at SMA 3 Negeri Palopo, and (2) to identify efforts to improve Arabic language learning for eleventh-grade students at SMA 3 Negeri Palopo through the Qira’ah Hikayah method. The research procedure was conducted over two cycles, using Kurt Lewin's model, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Each cycle comprised two meetings. The data collection methods used were action observation, tests, and field notes. The results of this study show that (1) the steps in implementing the Qira’ah Hikayah in this research are: 1. The researcher presents the material, 2. The researcher asks the students to repeat what has been read, 3. The researcher then asks the students to read the material one by one, 4. The researcher provides questions based on the material read, and 5. The researcher asks the students to submit their answers. The assessment results are calculated by dividing by two (50%). (2) The percentage in cycle I shows that out of 36 students, 3 students completed the tasks, resulting in a percentage of 8.33%, while 33 students did not complete the tasks, accounting for 91.6%. In cycle II, there was an improvement in student learning outcomes, with a percentage of 94.4%. Thus, the increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II was 86.07%. Therefore, in cycle II, the students' reading skills improved, leading to a conclusion of completion

Abstract

This research explores the negative impact of students' dependency on AI technology based on digital literacy in the 5.0 era, with an additional focus on integrating Arabic language learning. Students overly reliant on technology tend to experience a decline in creativity, integrity, and their role as agents of change. The study aims to analyze the negative values associated with technological advancements, comprehend the root causes, and enhance awareness to reduce students' dependence on AI technology. Data collection utilizes documentation study or literature review techniques. Findings indicate the significance of education and the educator's role in shaping ethical awareness of AI technology usage, involving social media and online platforms. The research emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts to raise awareness and diminish students' dependency on AI technology, involving educational institutions, educators, society, and incorporating Arabic language learning material holistically.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of mnemonic and muscle memory strategies in Arabic morphology (Sharaf) learning among students at Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda'wah. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed to illustrate students' experiences in applying these techniques and to analyze their impact on retention and understanding of morphological patterns. The study involved 30 students aged 16–18 years, utilizing instruments such as observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that mnemonics enhance students' memory retention through creative associations such as acronyms, visualizations, and storytelling. Meanwhile, muscle memory strengthens understanding and automates Sharaf patterns through repetitive physical practice, such as writing and verbalizing patterns. This study proposes a learning model called INSTING (Integration of Mnemonics with Training Systems for Memory and Cognitive Development), which combines cognitive and motor aspects to create more adaptive, holistic, and effective learning. These findings contribute not only to innovation in Arabic language teaching but also offer a strategic approach to improving students' retention, comprehension, and motivation in learning Sharaf.

Abstract

This study explains and describes the problems of Arabic-Indonesian translation experienced by PGMI study program students in Arabic language courses. The purpose of this study is to determine the translation problems and overcome these problems. Data collection through observation and interviews. The results of this study explain that there are several problems faced by students in translating Arabic-Indonesian, both in terms of language and non-language problems. Translation problems include vocabulary, syntax, morphology, idioms, and those related to non-language, namely the conditions of students from internal and external aspects such as mood and time.

Abstract

This development research aims to determine the validity and effectiveness of the Arabic Snakes and Ladders game media to increase interest in learning Arabic. The research method used is research and development with the (4-D) model. The research sample consisted of 29 even semester female students of the Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic Boarding School. The data collection technique for this research was obtained from the analysis of validation scores, and learning interest questionnaires (pre-test and post-test). The search results for the Arabic Snakes and Ladders game media met the truth criteria by obtaining an overall score reviewed from the language examiner's assessment of 97% and from the media examiner of 98% with a very valid category. Therefore, it is suitable for use based on expert reviews. The Arabic Snakes and Ladders game mode meets the effectiveness criteria, namely by looking at the average score of the results of the learning interest questionnaire analysis of 80% with a very high category. Based on these data, the Arabic Snakes and Ladders game mode can be said to be of high quality because it meets the criteria for validity and effectiveness. Based on the results of the study, the researcher suggests that the Arabic Snakes and Ladders media can be used as an educational method in learning Arabic. Further researchers can continue this research into publications, not only in the form of socialization but also testing it in other schools.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the SAKTI takhasus program in Arabic language learning at SMP Queen Genteng. and qualitative methods were used as research methods with research instruments in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the SAKTI takhasus program at SMP Queen Ibnu Sina is a program that is implemented sustainably, with the AIR (auditory intellectually repetition) method and the teaching materials used are three books or books, such as the Mufrad?t amtsilati Book, LKS, and the Durusulllughoh Al-Arabiyyah Book. while supporting factors in the implementation of the program such as learning motivation, sufficient teaching staff, and students' readiness to learn in the field of Arabic. and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the program such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure, students who are often late, students who often sleep in class, students' backgrounds are elementary school graduates (not MI) and are less accustomed to mufr?dat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Muhadatsah in improving the learning outcomes of Maharah Kalam students at the Al Adabiy Islamic Boarding School, because in this boarding school, muhadatsah activities or daily conversations using Arabic are implemented so that researchers want to know the contribution of this activity to the development of speaking skills and want to know the problems to improve speaking skills. Researchers see that the cause of the lack of students' abilities in Arabic speaking skills is the lack of mastery of Arabic vocabulary, the lack of practice speaking Arabic which has an effect on improving speaking skills. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative type. The method of data collection used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used data exposure, data analysis and data reduction which aimed to determine the role of muhadatsah in improving speaking skills so that researchers could take the values ??in this study. The results showed that 1) the role of muhadatsah in improving speaking skills is that students are fluent in speaking Arabic, fluent in pronouncing hijaiyah letters, enthusiastic in learning Arabic, activating the language environment, increasing mastery of Arabic vocabulary, and helping to train themselves in speaking Arabic. 2) The problems found in learning muhadatsah to improve speaking skills are limited vocabulary mastery, low motivation, fear of making mistakes, weakness in nahwu and sharaf knowledge, and the solution to these problems is that students must memorize a lot of Arabic vocabulary, eliminate the fear of making mistakes, learn nahwu and sharaf, get used to hearing Arabic, and motivate themselves to practice speaking Arabic.

Abstract

Vocabulary learning activities are the main activities in achieving the goals of learning Arabic at school. Many MA Al-Amiriyyah students experience difficulties in understanding the meaning of reading texts and questions due to their lack of mastery of the mufradat vocabulary. So the focus of this research is how to improve students' memorization of mufradat through the application of the creat sentence method. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The results of this research are that the application of the creat sentence method in improving the ability to memorize mufradat in MA al-Amiriyyah students is said to be good, proven by memorizing vocabulary and students who are enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. Improving memorization of mufradat through the application of the creat sentence method has also been good and there are new variations in memorizing mufradat, as well as different ways of memorizing, among others.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Google Lens media on the ability to translate Arabic texts at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. Google lens is an image recognition application. The type of research used is quantitative experimental research. Data collection techniques use observation and tests. This research was conducted using the SPSS program. Data analysis in this research is normality testing and paired sample t-test. The research results show that the correlation between x1 and x2 is 0.836 with a significance of 0.000. So there is a relationship between effectiveness before using Google Lens media and after using it. The calculated t value is greater than the t table (8.586>2.045), there is a significant increase after using Google Lens media. So there is a significant difference between before and after using Google Lens media.
