Abstract

The importance of strengthening the managerial process, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, is to foster commitment and retention of school human resources. This study employed a quantitative explanatory method through a total sampling survey (N=30) using a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire, accompanied by documentation, observation, and supporting interviews. The instrument met the valid-reliable criteria (?: X=0.870; Y1=0.774; Y2=0.756), and the data passed the Shapiro–Wilk normality test (p>0.05); hence, parametric analysis was conducted. Simple linear regression showed a positive and significant effect of educational management on teacher loyalty (Y1: R=0.363; R2=0.132; ?=0.227; F=4.243; p=0.049) and staff loyalty (Y2: R=0.392; R2=0.154; ?=0.215; F=5.083; p=0.032). These findings confirm that sharpening planning and performance communication, reward systems, and career development, as well as structuring SOPs and internal services, fostering an engagement culture, and maintaining continuous supervision are practical levers to enhance loyalty. The recommendations aim to strengthen two-way communication, ensure fair and transparent rewards, implement professional development programs, and digitalize internal service processes, thereby improving the impact on loyalty and making it stronger and more sustainable.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between work stress, mental health programs, and the psychological well-being of Islamic boarding school teachers through an integration of modern psychology and Islamic spirituality. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. The results show that teacher work stress is triggered by administrative burdens, role conflict, and long working hours, which cause symptoms of physical exhaustion, anxiety, and burnout according to transactional stress and burnout theories. However, this stress can be minimized through social support among teachers and religious coping strategies based on Islamic values, such as dhikr, prayer, and silaturahmi. The mental health program in the Islamic boarding school, although still simple, includes stress management workshops, informal counseling, discussion forums, and collective religious activities. This program serves as a resource that balances teachers' work demands, in line with the Job Demands Resources model. In general, teachers demonstrate good psychological well-being, characterized by self-acceptance, positive social relationships, intrinsic motivation, and a meaningful life purpose. This condition is in accordance with the concept of Psychological Well-Being and the WHO-5 Well-Being Index, and is in line with the Islamic values of qalbun sal?m (healthy heart) and ?uma?n?nah (inner peace). These findings strengthen the understanding that the psychological well-being of Islamic boarding school teachers is shaped by the synergy between modern psychological approaches and Islamic spirituality, while providing a conceptual contribution to the development of a contextual and integrated model of teacher mental health in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Public relations management strategies in building and strengthening synergistic relationships between MTs Nurul Wafa Besuki Situbondo and alumni and community leaders. This is a qualitative study using a case study approach. Data was obtained through direct observation, in-depth interviews with the head of the madrasah, public relations officers, alumni, and community leaders, and supported by documentation of public relations activities. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing in accordance with the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that the public relations strategy at MTs Nurul Wafa emphasizes two-way communication based on Islamic values, such as ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood), openness, and honesty. Through social events, digital publications, and socio-religious activities, public relations has succeeded in increasing public trust and strengthening the madrasah's positive image. Alumni act as communication agents and sources of moral and material support, while community leaders become strategic partners in expanding the institution's influence and legitimacy. The integration of Islamic boarding school values with communication professionalism makes MTs Nurul Wafa's public relations strategy effective in building the institution's reputation as an Islamic institution that is adaptive to the times.

Abstract

The digital economy era demands that economics teaching in high schools transform from a lecture-based approach to competency-based learning that is contextualized to the technology-based workplace. This study aims to analyze the heterogeneity of pedagogical practices in competency-based economics teaching through the discourses of three Economics teachers at SMAN 1 Tangerang Selatan in the digital economy era. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving three purposively selected teachers. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews, a review of lesson plans/assets (RPP/ATP) and learning media, and descriptive notes on learning practices. The results indicate three main patterns of pedagogical practices: a conventional lecture-memorization-based pattern, an innovative digital pattern integrating e-commerce simulations and financial applications, and a hybrid pattern combining elements of both. The discussion shows that this heterogeneity is influenced by teaching experience, understanding of competency-based curriculum, and the availability of ICT infrastructure, and is in line with the TPACK framework and the findings of several previous studies. It is concluded that the variation in practices reflects teachers' negotiation process between traditional learning norms and the demands of digital transformation. This study's recommendations emphasize the importance of TPACK-based professional development programs and cross-school follow-up studies to strengthen the implementation of competency-based economics learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Effective, efficient, and accountable financial management is a fundamental aspect in realizing quality education in Islamic schools, and this is in line with the message of QS. Al-Isra' verses 26–27. This study applies a qualitative approach through a literature study method, with the main sources being Tafsir Fakhr Ar-Razi and relevant scientific articles published in the last five years. The results of the study indicate that ideal education fund management can be achieved through the implementation of four management functions (POAC): directed planning, clear organization, targeted implementation, and transparent supervision. Specifically, the interpretation of Fakhr al-Din al-Razi emphasizes that the prohibition of tabdzir is not limited to material waste, but includes the use of assets that deviate from the right purpose and are not oriented towards the benefit, so that fund management requires both moral and rational responsibility. Although there are still various obstacles in its implementation, this finding confirms that the application of Qur'anic values can strengthen financial management practices so that they are more professional and support the improvement of the quality of education as a whole. Therefore, this research serves as an important reference for Islamic school managers in optimizing financial practices to be more structured, sustainable, and able to create an educational environment that is trustworthy, productive, inclusive, and oriented towards the success of students and the wider community.

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of multicultural education values at the Madrasah Diniyah of Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat Lamongan by using the multicultural education dimension approach from James A. Banks. Indonesia, as a country rich in cultural, linguistic, religious, and ethnic diversity, requires an educational model capable of instilling values of tolerance, equality, and respect for differences. Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat, established on September 7, 1977, serves as an example of an institution that integrates these values into its education system. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, utilizing techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the institution effectively incorporates multicultural values through George R. Terry’s four key management functions planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. Furthermore, the practice of multicultural education in the pesantren’s early childhood madrasah aligns with James A. Banks’ five core dimensions: content integration, knowledge construction, prejudice reduction, equity pedagogy, and the empowerment of school culture. Values such as inclusivity, tolerance, democracy, and moderation are embodied through learning processes, student activities, and the exemplary behavior of teachers. Thus, this pesantren not only produces students who are knowledgeable and morally upright but also shapes a generation capable of living harmoniously in a pluralistic society. These findings underscore the importance of multicultural education management as a practical strategy for fostering social harmony in diverse Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Teacher personality professionalism is a fundamental dimension in improving the quality of education in madrasas. Madrasah principals have a strategic role in fostering, directing, and facilitating the strengthening of teachers' personality competencies. However, the dynamics of changes in educational policy require a reconfiguration of leadership roles to be more responsive and adaptive. This study aims to analyze the form of reconfiguration of the role of madrasah principals in fostering teacher personality professionalism at MTs Nurul Huda Al Banat Pelayan Kapongan. This study uses a qualitative approach with an empirical study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with madrasah principals, teachers, and education staff, observations of the coaching process, and document reviews. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and interactive drawing of conclusions. The study shows that madrasah principals reconfigured their roles in three main aspects: (1) visionary leadership based on moral example; (2) strengthening a collaborative work climate through humanistic supervision and spiritual guidance; and (3) facilitating competency development through internal training and a continuous mentoring model. These changes have an impact on increasing teacher discipline, work ethic, and professional responsibility. Reconfiguring the role of the madrasah principal has been shown to contribute significantly to improving teacher professionalism. These findings recommend the development of a transformative leadership model based on role models and persuasive communication in madrasahs.
