Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers as effective followers in supporting principals in the digital era. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Data was obtained from various literature such as books, journal articles, and reports from educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a strategic role in supporting principal policies, especially in integrating technology into learning. Effective teachers contribute to improving the quality of learning through the use of technology, supporting the principal's vision and mission, and adapting to the transformation of digital education. The success of the teacher's role is influenced by several supporting factors, such as access to technology, ongoing training, and commitment to digital learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, resistance to change, and high workloads are still obstacles that need to be overcome. As an integral part of digital education, teachers are expected to be able to optimize technology training, strengthen collaboration with principals, and utilize digital media as an effective means of communication. This effort requires synergy between teachers, principals, and other stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of education in the digital era.

It primarily aims to delve into the roles of planning, organizing, leadership, and supervision within the framework of these sacred texts, with the objective of enhancing the quality of education. Employing a literature review methodology, the study identifies, evaluates, and interprets pertinent research findings. A qualitative approach is utilized to synthesize the research results, integrating data to develop new theories or concepts and to foster a more profound and comprehensive understanding. Ultimately, the findings of this study highlight that Islamic education management seeks to effectively organize and optimize all available resources to achieve established goals in accordance with Islamic values. The basics of Islamic education management are the Qur'an, Hadith, and laws in force in Indonesia. This management process involves various main functions carried out by a manager or leader, namely: a) planning, b) organizing, c) leadership, d) supervision. The values contained in the Qur'an and Hadith show that the Prophet Muhammad SAW as an example of being a leader and manager, has applied management principles when leading which have proven to be effective and become a basis that can be applied in developing quality Islamic education with efficient and effective management, instilling character and morals and motivation and appreciation (rewards).

Abstract

The development of students and teaching in the community are important aspects in the management of education at Ma'had Aly Mohammad Natsir Putri. In this context, the role of mudiroh greatly determines the effectiveness of program implementation, especially in optimizing the role of musyrifah. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while data validity was strengthened by source triangulation and member check techniques . The results of the study indicate that mudiroh plays a role in identifying community needs, selecting appropriate musyrifah, and monitoring learning programs. However, limitations in monitoring and emotional readiness of musyrifah are major challenges. Nevertheless, this program has contributed to the development of musyrifah and their readiness to preach. These findings provide insight into the management strategy of the role of educators in preparing them as agents of preaching outside the formal education environment, and highlight the importance of a flexible leadership approach and emotional empowerment for educators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of strengthening religious values at MTs Badrussalam Indonesia, located in Malang. This research approach is qualitative with a case study design through data collection of observation, interviews, and documentation, focusing on the madrasah's approach in shaping students' religious character through the curriculum, school culture, and extracurricular activities. Test the validity of the data with credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The Miles & Huberman interactive model is used for data analysis, which includes presentation, reduction, and verification of conclusions. This study reveals the success of MTs Badrussalam Indonesia in integrating the five dimensions of religiosity according to Glock and Stark's theory into the education system as a whole. Belief through prayer and the role of the homeroom teacher as a religious counselor. Rituals through dhuha prayer, BMQ (Qur'an Reading Guidance), and extracurricular religious activities. Religious experience through spiritual activities such as tawassul and teacher motivation based on religious values. Knowledge through the integration of science and religion, including in the princess program. Moral consequences through the 5S culture, teacher respect, and the SASIS (Sambut Salam Siswa) program. The integration model of religiosity and education based on national education standards (SNP) PP. No. 4 of 2022 is the novelty of this research. MTs Badrussalam Indonesia offers a comprehensive approach that balances students' academic achievement with the formation of their religious character. This model can serve as a prototype of religious character-based education that is relevant to be implemented in similar educational institutions.

Data analysis used data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that although the available education funds are quite large, their planning and management are still not optimal, with most of the funds being used for routine expenses. Immature planning results in limited allocation for facility development and improving the quality of teaching. Therefore, policies such as priority-based budgeting, diversification of financing sources, and budget management training need to be implemented to improve the quality of education. With good financing management, learning facilities can be improved, teacher professional development can be prioritized, and student quality can be significantly improved.
