Abstract

Islamic education as one of the recognized scientific disciplines and has attracted the interest of the participants, especially for students who want to study it seriously. However, this field of study and discipline is not fast enough in its development, when compared to the number of other fields of Islamic studies. Even so, the portrait of Islamic education can actually be described in various perspectives. For example, from the educational perspective of Naquib al-Attas. This study aims to explore the educational concept of Naquib Al Attas in terms of the meaning and purpose of education, curriculum and educational methods as well as the authority and role of the teacher. The research uses a descriptive approach. This is done to be able to reveal the concept of education in Naquib Al Attas' thought based on reading related books and articles. The results of this study indicate that the thoughts of Naquib Al Attas tend to be selectively reconstructive which seeks to present an integrated Islamic education system. While in the Al Attas Curriculum seeks to integrate Science (Fardhu Ain and Fardu Kifayah), so the method used is the cultivation of Adab (Faith-Science-Charity).

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the transformation of educational civilization, including pesantren education with its traditional characteristics. This study aims to analyze the existence of the DDI Mangkoso Islamic Boarding School as a representation of traditional Islamic educational institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The primary data sources consisted of kiai, ustaz, students, and the community around the DDI Mangkoso Islamic Boarding School. Secondary data sources consist of books, journals, and other relevant scientific works. Data were collected using interview, observation, and documentation methods, then analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the DDI Mangkoso Islamic Boarding School still exists as a traditional Islamic education institution by maintaining five roles, namely (1) transmission of classical Islamic sciences, (2) institute of da'wah, (3) preserver of Islamic tradition, (4) center for reproduction of ulama, and (5) place of community service and development.

Abstract

This article reveals the efforts made by Maktab Nubdzatul Bayan at Islamic boarding school Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Pamekasan in providing a new breakthrough in accelerating the mastery of the arabic book for children of basic education age. The pattern of accelerated learning as the key to this movement has proven to lead to mastery of the arabic book which is relatively short for the age of the children. With a qualitative approach and photographing objects naturally, this research data was obtained through interviews, activity observations and document review. The results of the study show that the arabic book learning reformulation is carried out by: a button-up pattern of policy-making; placement of students as a learning center (student centered); implementation of student-based supervision; mentoring attached to junior students; spiritual strengthening of caregivers; and small group based learning; competency test of prospective graduates, and appreciation of student achievement. The success of this effort is influenced by several factors: the common determination of all parties; the ratio of comparison between supervisors and students is ideal; standard study and dormitory facilities; conducive learning environment and great caregiver support.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the internalization of civic education, especially in the effort to foster the spirit of nationalism and love the country from two salaf Islamic boarding schools in Madura between the al-Mubarok Lanbulan Tambelangan Islamic Boarding School in Sampang and the Islamic Boarding School of Al-Is'af Kalabaan Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. The research subjects who became the information center consisted of caregivers, asatidz and administrators with data collection techniques including interviews, observation and documentation. For data analysis, the researcher used Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis technique. To test the validity of the data, it is used triangulation technique. The results showed that the internalization of civic education in these pesantrens was conveyed in three ways; First, through learning. The students are taught the morals of the state and love the country through the clasical book of 'Idhatun Nasyi'in and through civics education learning in the equality education system applied at the al-Mubarok Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, for pesantren al-Is'af, it is applied through additional explanations in book recitation conditionally. Second, through the extra activities, including; organizing, bahsul masail, flag ceremony on 17 of August and the commemoration of the national santri day at al-Mubarok, as well as through bahsul masail and muhadara activities at the al-Is'af boarding school. Third, through social activities of students in the internal boarding school.

Abstract

This paper is intended to analyze the presence of Islamic education in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The researchers used the Library Research in this paper. Data collection was carried out by reviewing and examining printed and electronic books, journals, and documents as data sources and other relevant information. Islamic education as an Islamic-based educational institution needs to take a range of steps and approaches to preserve its presence in the 4.0 period of the Industrial Revolution, so as not to fall into various competitions. Based on the analysis, there are several strategies that must be followed by Islamic education to sustain its existence, namely: designing innovative Islamic education, reforming and renewal Islamic education, enhancing capabilities in technology and literacy, and the concept of integration and interconnection of Islamic education

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam yang kami masksud adalah pelasanaan kegiatan Pendidikan yang dilakukan dalam impelemtasi Pendidikan secara umum yaitu Pendidikan islam secara formal dan non-formal atau Pendidikan islam berbasis masyarakat dengan berbasis program Gerakan Pembangunan Masyarakat Islam yang kemudian diistilahkan dengan (Gerbang Salam) yang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Pamekasan, istilah Gerbang Salam ini muncul pertama kali di Kabupaten Pamekasan pada tahun 2010 berdasarkan ghirah masyarakat pamekasan Bersama para tokoh masyarakat dan ulama’ yang mempunyai keingin yang sama yakni menciptakan masyarakat yang bernuasakan keislam, sehingga untuk mewujudkan hal tersbut, maka jargon ini muncul yang kemudian dikawal dan dimotori oleh LP2SI (Lembaga Pengkajian dan Penerapan Syari’at Islam). Pendidikan Islam dalam hal ini bersfungi sebagai penguat program Gerbang Salam yang kemudian masuk kepada semua sector dan lini kehidupan masyarakat Kabupaten Pamekasan baik dalam ranah implementasi Pendidikan formal maupun implementasi Pendidikan nonformal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam hal ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif, adapun informan dalam penelitian ini adalah para tokoh masyarakat, pejabat public yang peneliti anggap mempunyai keterlibatan langsung dalam perumasan program Gerbang Salam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penguatan pendidikan Islam dalam rangka implementasi program Gerbang Salam di kabupaten Pamekasan dilakukan pada beberapa komponen pendidikan seperti: 1) Penguatan pendidikan Islam pada bidang Pendidik, 2) Penguatan pendidikan Islam Peserta didik, 3) Penguatan pendidikan Islam Sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, 4) Penguatan pendidikan Islam Kelembagaan, 5) Penguatan pendidikan Islam Tujuan pendidikan dan 6) Penguatan pendidikan Islam Isi atau kurikulum pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak : Masa pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada semua aspek kehidupan manusia tidak terkecuali pada ranah pendidikan. Semua satuan pendidikan pada umumnya melaksanakank pembelajaran secara daring guna menghindari tersebarnya virus tersebut. Namun demikian, Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan tetap melakukan pembelajaran secara luring namun tetap memberlakukan protokol kesehatan secara katat. Kajian ini berupaya untuk mengungkap manajemen pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh pondok tersebut selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Hasil penelitan ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen yang dilakukan mencakup 3 hal; 1) perencanaan yang berkaitan dengan pemenuhan prokotol kesehatan dan perencanaan yang berkenaan dengan mekanisme proses pembelajaran yang termuat dalam RPP dan silabus; 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan tetap memperhatikan protocol kesehata.Pelaksanaan pembelajaran mencngkup tiga tahapan yaitu pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan penutup; 3) evaluasi dilakukan secara berkesinambungan pada akhir pembelajran guna melihat tingkat efektifitas pembelajaran. Di samping itu, evaluasi pembelajaran juga dilakukan dengan model evaluasi sumatif dan formatif.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter baru sampai pada ranah IQ dan EQ saja. Sedangkan ranah SQ yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan pembersihan jiwa belum banyak tersentuh. Kajian tentang pembersihan jiwa mengarah kepada tasawuf (pendidikan jiwa). Model pembentukan karakter di dua lokasi bervariasi. 1) Pendidikan tasawuf di Al Urwatul Wutsqo berafiliasi t}ari<qah Syadziliyah Al-Mas’udiyyah. Tahap-tahap pendidikan tasawuf adalah syari>’ah, t}ari>qah, h}aqi>qah, dan ma’rifah. Model pembentukan karakter jujur dan ikhlas melalui pemberian pengetahuan dan pembiasaan. Tahap pemberian pengetahuan adalah tahap syari>’ah. Diajarkan baca tulis al-Qur’a>n, terjemah al-Qur’a>n, nahwu, sharaf, baca kitab, hukum-hukum syari>’ah, mulai fiqih Ibadah, fiqih muamalah, fiqih munakahat, dan jinayah, dan tafsir Amaly. Pembelajaran menggunakan metode yang relevan diantaranya ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi dan pemberian tugas. Tahap pembiasaan adalah belajar t}ari<qah , haqiqah dan ma’rifah. Dilatih jama’ah, dzikir, dan istighas|ah, dengan menggunakan metode muhasaba, mujahada, talqin, dan khalwat. Pada tahapan ini sampai pada al-maqa>mat terdiri dari: taubat, sabar, syukur, rajak, khauf, faqir, zuhud, tauhid, tawakkal, mahabbah. 2) Pendidikan tasawuf di Al Ihsan Jampes tidak berafiliasi pada salah satu t}ari<qah mu’tabarah, tetapi menerapkan tahapan pendidikan tasawuf. Tahap pemberian pengetahuan diajarkan tentang imlak, fikih dan tasawuf melalui kajian kitab Sira>j Al-Tha>libi>n dengan metode bandongan dan shorogan (. Tahap pembiasaan dilatih jama’ah, dzikir, dan istighas|ah dengan menggunakan metode muhasaba serta mujahada. Pada tahap ini al-maqa>mat bersifat alami karena tidak dibimbinga guru musyid. 3) Bentuk-bentuk karakter ikhlas dan jujur melalui pendidikan tasawuf yaitu: a) Ikhlas amal dan ikhlas memperoleh pahala b) Jujur pada diri sendiri, jujur dalam berjanji, jujur dalam perkataan dan perbuatan. .

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dua hal yaitu bagaimana (a) persepsi guru pamong dan (b) peserta didik terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru PPL di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Subyek penelitian terdiri 15 guru pamong dan 237 peserta didik, 24 guru PPL, dan 4 sekolah/madrasah, dengan mengikuti ketentuan teknik random sampling 10 % dari Arikunto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) kompetensi pedagogik Guru PPL berdasar persepsi guru pamong tergolong baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai 73% dari jawaban responden (H0 ditolak) (b) kompetensi pedagogik Guru PPL berdasarkan persepsi peserta didik tergolong cukup. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai 69,83% dari jawaban responden. (H0 ditolak). Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut, diharapkan (a) para guru pamong dapat memberikan bimbingan lebih optimal lagi kepada mahasiswa praktikan tentang RPP, kedisiplinan, tata tertib, dan lain-lain; (b) peserta didik diharapkan dapat lebih memperhatikan dan mengoptimalkan potensi dirinya ketika mengikuti pembelajaran dengan guru PPL, (c) mahasiswa praktikan selaku guru PPL diharapkan agar lebih menguasai karakteristik peserta didik, teori-teori belajar, lebih siap dalam menyiapkan RPP, lebih mampu dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran yang mendidik, lebih mampu mengembangkan potensi peserta didik, lebih mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif dan santun, lebih mampu melaksanakan dan menafaatkan evaluasi, dan reflektif.

Abstract

Various language course institutions in Indonesia are more focused on business oriented and ignore cultural values. Unlike the language institutions in Pare, Kediri, the dichotomy of material and moral values ​​is actually dissolved in local language institutions. The focus of this research was to portray the existence of reduction of Islamic value in the course institutions in Kampung Inggris (English Village), Pare, Kediri. Especially, additional activities carried out in the dormitory of the courses by assimilating lokal of Nahdlatul Ulama (an Islamic organization in Indonesia) traditions with the needs of language institutions. This research was conducted in the form of qualitative research by conducting observations and interviews. Interviews were conducted in the form of deep interviews to obtain broader and deeper data. Data collection was also carried out by involving the researcher directly and actively as an outsider in activities carried out by local communities assimilating to the agenda of the lokal course institutions. The result is that lokal culture in the form of values ​​and norms contributes to its own uniqueness in Kampung Inggris that are not found in other course institutions of other regions. These activities are accepted and applied in lokal course institutions with agendas such as tahlilan (ritual of salvation), islamic congregational prayer, diba'an ( prayer to God and Prophet) and so on.
