Abstract

This study aims to analyze profitability, liquidity and leverage on firm value and examine role of dividend policy as a moderating variable in this interaction. Based on Signaling and Pecking Order Theories, profitability is measure through Return on Assets (ROA), liquidity through Current Ratio (CR), leverage through Debt to Equity Ratio, firm value through Price to Book Value (PBV) and dividend policy through Dividend Payout Ratio. A quantitative approach was used with a population of 47 companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the 2019-2023 period, resulting in 65 observation samples. Data analysis used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) and multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis. The results show that ROA has a positive and significant effect on PBV, indicating profit efficiency that increases investor confidence in accordance with signaling theory. CR does not have a significant positive effect on PBV in line with pecking order theory which prioritizes internal financing. DAR has a significant positive effect on PBV indicating the effective use of debt for expansion in accordance with pecking order theory. The interaction between ROA and DPR is not significant on PBV indicating that dividend policy is less effective as a signal in this context. DPR significantly as a signal in this context. DPR significantly moderates the effect of CR on PBV confirming dividends as a signal of financial stability. The interaction between DAR and DPR is not significant on PBV indicating that other factors such as profitability are more dominant in investor assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of business ethics violations on the reputation and performance of PT Shell, by identifying the forms of violations that occur and the mechanism of their impact on the company's financial and non-financial aspects. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through documentation studies of annual reports, media coverage, government institution reports, as well as in-depth interviews with key informants consisting of former PT Shell officials, energy market analysts, and senior journalists. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results reveal that PT Shell faced various business ethics violations, primarily in the areas of corporate governance (corruption), operational safety (fires and oil spills), and community relations (social and environmental conflicts). These violations functioned as negative signals that significantly damaged the company's reputation, reflected in declining trust from the public, investors, and other stakeholders. The impact on company performance was complex, including direct financial losses (fines, cleanup costs) and indirect losses (project delays, increased cost of capital), as well as non-financial losses such as decreased employee morale, worsened relations with regulators, and increased resistance from communities. It is concluded that there is a strong causal relationship between business ethics violations, reputation decline, and performance decline of PT Shell. This research confirms that ethical integrity and the strong implementation of Good Corporate Governance are not a cost burden, but rather a strategic asset and critical investment for protecting reputation and ensuring sustainable company performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyse the integration of human and technological aspect in student as human resource management (HRM) to improve academic motivation and discipline in higher education. The rationale of this research is the phenomenon of increasing digitalization of education that has not been fully balanced by character development and the intrinsic motivation of students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation analysis of students, lecturers, and administrative staff at universities that have implemented technology-based academic management systems. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña which includes data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of technology such as Learning Management System (LMS) and academic monitoring systems has a positive impact on the efficiency and accessibility of information, but its success is greatly influenced by intrinsic motivation and discipline of students. Effective human-tech integration requires a balance between technological innovation and character development through mentoring, coaching, and interpersonal feedback. The study's conclusion confirms that the success of human-tech-based student human resource management is determined not only by technological advancements, but also by the university's ability to build a humane, communicative academic environment that is oriented toward strengthening disciplinary values ​​and fostering sustainable learning motivation.

Abstract

Nurse performance is influenced by several factors, including human resource development (HRD) and work motivation. HRD development plays a strategic role in improving the quality of the workforce, including nurses. This development includes training, education, and skills development aimed at ensuring nurses have competencies that are in line with developments in health science and patient needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of HRD development and motivation on nurse performance. The research method was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was total sampling, meaning that all 30 nurses were sampled. The analysis used univariate, bivariate using the t-test, and multivariate analysis using the F-test. The t-test results for the significant value of the HRD development variable were 0.000 <0.05, and work motivation was 0.519 >0.05. Simultaneously, the F-test obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, so that all independent variables had a significant effect on the dependent variable together. Simultaneous testing showed the influence of human resource development and work motivation on nurse performance at the PKU Muhammadiyah Kotagede Special Hospital for Women and Children, Yogyakarta.).

Abstract

Enhancing human resource (HR) quality is a strategic priority for strengthening national competitiveness amid global dynamics and rapid digital transformation. This effort requires an integrated contribution from educational institutions, government agencies, and widyaiswara as key pillars in the national education and training system. This study aims to analyze the strategic roles of educational institutions, government agencies, and widyaiswara in enhancing human resource (HR) quality as a long-term investment within the national education system. The primary focus is to identify role disparities, assess institutional synergy, and formulate collaborative strategies for holistic, adaptive, and sustainable HR competency development. This research employs a systematic review approach following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. A total of 27 selected scientific articles out of 400 initial publications were analyzed through literature screening, inclusion–exclusion filtering, data extraction, and thematic analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of HR investment through education and training. The findings reveal that educational institutions play a vital role in producing high-quality human resources through relevant curricula and competency-based learning innovation. The government supports this process through strategic policies, civil service capacity development, and institutional strengthening of training programs. Meanwhile, widyaiswara act as agents of change who bridge theory and practice in continuous professional development. The synergy among these three elements forms a critical foundation for building professional, competitive, and globally competent human resources in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The rapid development of Digital technology has transformed public communication and marketing strategies across various sectors, including the culinary industry. Social media platforms such as TikTok have become essential tools for business owners to strengthen their brand image and build engagement with audiences through creative and interactive visual content. This study aims to analyze the optimization of Digital Public Relations (PR) strategies through TikTok in developing culinary branding in Bali. The research employs a literature review approach by examining national and international scholarly articles published within the last five years that discuss Digital communication, public relations, and culinary branding strategies. Data were collected through a systematic search using relevant keywords across academic databases. The findings reveal that effective Digital PR strategies on TikTok consist of four main components: audience research, culturally based content planning, participatory two-way communication, and continuous evaluation supported by consumer trust. This approach enhances audience engagement and strengthens the brand image of Balinese culinary products as representations of local cultural identity. The study concludes that TikTok serves not only as a promotional platform but also as a Digital cultural communication space that connects traditional values with modern communication strategies in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Employe loyalty is a crucial aspect in maintaining the stability and operational effectiveness of a company, especially amidst the ever-evolving dynamics of business competition. Companies are required to manage human resources optimally by providing compensation that is not only financial but also non-financial, as a form of recognition for employe contributions. Both forms of compensation are believed to play an important role in building a sense of belonging, commitment, and employes' willingness to stay with the company. Based on this urgency, this study aims to analyze the influence of financial and non-financial compensation on employe loyalty at PT Bali Hastie Indomalaya, both partially and simultaneously. The research used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional method, involving 104 employes as respondents who completed closed and open questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression thru SPSS software. The research results indicate that financial compensation has a positive and significant effect on employe loyalty. Additionally, non-financial compensation has also been proven to have a positive and significant impact, particularly thru aspects of the work environment, communication, and relationships between employes. Simultaneously, both forms of compensation have a positive and significant impact on employe loyalty. This finding indicates that the combination of material and non-material compensation is very important in building loyalty and work commitment at PT Bali Hastie Indomalaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, as well as their influence on turnover intention among employees at Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta. The study uses a quantitative approach with the survey method, involving 38 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Hypothesis testing uses correlation and linear regression analysis techniques, which are processed with SPSS 22. The results show that job satisfaction has a positive yet weak influence on organizational commitment, with a coefficient determination (R2) of 29.8%. This indicates that job satisfaction explains only a small portion of the variance in organizational commitment. Furthermore, job satisfaction has been found to have a negative but insignificant effect on turnover intention, indicating that the level of employee job satisfaction is not a strong factor in reducing employees’ intention to leave the organization. Similarly, organizational commitment also exhibited a negative but insignificant effect on turnover intention. Simultaneously, the influence of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on turnover intention produced a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.127, indicating that both variables explain only 12.7% of the variation in turnover intention. These findings indicate the need to consider other, more dominant factors related to employee turnover intention at Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of workplace bullying on turnover intention among healthcare employees in a hospital located in West Nusa Tenggara. Using a quantitative approach with a census sampling technique, all 43 employees in the population were included as respondents. The population refers to the entire group of individuals who possess specific characteristics relevant to the research objectives and are selected for analysis to obtain empirical findings. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through linear regression to examine the relationship between workplace bullying and turnover intention. The results indicate that workplace bullying has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, as evidenced by a t-test significance value of 0.000. These findings confirm that the higher the level of bullying experienced by employees, the greater their tendency to consider leaving their jobs. In the hospital context, intimidation or mistreatment from colleagues or supervisors can trigger stress, reduce motivation, and create psychological discomfort that ultimately increases employees’ intention to resign. Therefore, workplace bullying emerges as a critical factor influencing employees’ decisions to stay or leave the organization. This study highlights the importance of implementing preventive and corrective measures to mitigate bullying and retain competent healthcare personnel to maintain organizational stability.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Virtual Tour and Digital Media Interactivity on Tourist Visit Intention with Brand Image as a mediating variable in the South Badung destination area. The rapid development of digital technology has transformed tourism marketing, enabling destinations to provide immersive pre-visit experiences through virtual tours and interactive media. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 170 respondents who had used or accessed virtual tours and digital media related to South Badung. The analysis employed the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique to evaluate both direct and indirect relationships. The findings reveal that virtual tours and digital media interactivity significantly and positively influence brand image, which in turn enhances tourist visit intention. Moreover, brand image partially mediates the effect of virtual tours and digital interactivity on visit intention. These results highlight the strategic importance of high-quality digital experiences in strengthening destination brand image and stimulating actual visits. The study contributes theoretically to digital marketing and tourism literature and provides practical implications for destination managers and local governments in designing effective technology-based promotional strategies.
